Too bad this coaster isn't crossing back and forth between NC and SC. I was thinking that if it did, it could have an onboard soundtrack of "Interstate Love Song" by STP. It would be legendary. "Leavin' on a southern train"

You know, after reading that list, I just realized that I have also been on every floorless in the country. I'd place Kraken at #1. Back row right side is my fav seat on the ride. The rest I don't really rank. But I'll say that I was really disappointed with Superman: Krypton Coaster. Medusa (East) is way better than Scream but not as good as Medusa (West). Oh, and I look forward to Bay Area Bash and more rides on Medusa.

Well that was a fun time at the fair. Kinda funny that I didn't make it on one coaster, even with the unlimited wristband. Spent all my time on the flat rides. And by the way, Al's Brain was AWESOME.

Interesting for sure. I'm just hoping that if they are real, I'll be able to get to the park before the change. I was there in '04, but didn't really have a lot of time to check out Fantasyland. Can't remember if I even walked though it. That's what happens when you only have 2 1/2 days in Orlando.

Back in '99 I was trying to figure out an AOL screen name. I wanted something with "Metallica" in it. Every combination that I could think of was taken. So I just combined the words "Metallica" and "rocks" to form "Metrock." but even that was taken. So I added the upcoming year "2000" to finally come up with "Metrock2000." It's my main e-mail address to this day. But when I got to various internet forums, "Metrock" was still available. So I took it. And it kinda stuck.

^ I knew I wasn't crazy when I was telling my friends that the Jeep at the entrance was new. They were telling me it had been there since opening day. Oh, and the station looks so nice now that they finished painting it.

Hey, I like that first picture of Batman. It's an angle I am not used to seeing because of how the ride is placed at Magic Mountain, my home park.

Other than winning a backstage meet and greet to see the members of Metallica, going to a signing, or meeting someone via USO tours, I can't think of any time I have seen or met a celebrity up close in everyday life. It's weird because the assumption is that because I live in SoCal/LA, I am supposed to see 'em all the time.

^ Thanks for that info. One of these day's I'll get around to buying a dSLR. Though, I have been quite lucky with my point and shoot. But it's frustrating when you know what kind of shot you want to take, but can't because of the limitations of your camera. I settle for what I can get. Oh, and yeah, the only way you can capture bumpiness in a still photo is if there is blood streaming from the riders ears.

It is so weird to see pictures of a coaster that I just rode last summer being assembled half way around the world. Glad I did my trip when I did and didn't miss this fun little ride. Kinda sad how the US is losing so many awesome Schwarzkopf rides. Weird looking train by the way. Never seen anything like that before.

Well, this is giving me a reason to return to Carowinds sometime. Though, with so many places to travel in the world, who knows when I'll get back there. Mostly a matter of time and money. Soon enough. If this is a B&M hyper, then the park is getting the one kind of coaster they so desperately needed. I liked the place, but it just lacked the big rides I am used to. Yeah, I know ... spoiled here in SoCal.

Oh my, that was awesome. So many jokes could be had. But I'll keep it clean and say nothing. And yeah, I wish we could have advertising like that here in the states.

Well, I wasn't going to go because I need to be in LA the next day. But, I'll just have to wake up early and drive down. It should be a fun event. Plus, I have been meaning to get up there again. I look forward to the shenanigans.
