New Wanda Parks in China.
RCT3Bross replied to Gutterflower's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I heard about that coaster some time ago. But I never figured out if Vekoma build it or someone els. Does anybody know? -
I can't honestly tell whats wrong with other Dutch people, we really need to complain about literally anything. The ride looks great, I mean perfect for Slagharen it seems like a great upgrade for them. I'm going to be honest Slagharen is not a park I see myself visiting anytime soon, but this ride seems like a lot of fun and I hope I see myself one day in a car of the coaster.

I really found that ride the most surprising of my Liseberg visit last month. I wonder what's next, good to hear they keep investing, all the more reason to return to Sweden in the near future. -

To answer your question Robb (Which was already alluded to) No this isn't the former Cop Car Chase site, this new ride is being build between the blue 3 and the orange 4 that green area, with the backwards spike on place where the volcano is underneath the Orange 4 and the yellow building with 2 WC being the one you fly through. Well this ride certainly is peaking my interest more. I really hope we get to see the finished lay-out before the end of October. -

If this is final (I highly doubt there is much change) then I hate to see the Single rider line and normal entry next to one other again. They should have learn after Baron 1898 many people just look at the numbers and are shocked to find out that they have to split up at the end of the line. Also seems like the same system as Baron will be used with the line ending before entering the building. Overal better than the drawings submitted for Hartenhof (Queue is a great example.) much less a plain square and much more greenery. Although I hoped the lake side overwacht would have been kept alive. Oh well. -

Rode Wildfire today, thought it was a crazy ride. Somehow the zoo part felt slightly disapoiting but the park's landscape and off-course wildfire made the day more then worth it. -
Hi, I went to Gothenberg and did not even know there was a tax! Hopefully that should comfort you. Also once you drive into Gothenberg, you will have seen the park for a long time. That is the advantage of the park having a 300ft drop tower in top of a hill! Thanks, Well we're here so in a few days we should discover it for ourselfs. Like I said I'm paranoid for the sake of being paranoid, It's my first big trip and everything that is slightly difrent is driving me mad, thanks for the comfort helps me a little. (Sorry for the spelling, internet isn't all crisp so the spell check is out.)

Hey guys I'm just counting down the hours right now to my Sweden journey and it all becomes very real now. So slight panic when it comes to details that might not even matter. But I wonder is there any sign directions to Liseberg, and what is the best place to park my car (A map with how to I'm suppose to drive there is welcome)? I still find things very confusing with this park, I'm sure it all ends well but with the Gothenburg tax and the wristbands and parking, we have yet to discover that aspect of the journey, and me being exited doesn't help either.

^Well I understand you somewhat, isn't it more logical to go from high to low instead of low to high? That s bend really messes with my brain, are they sure it's on the right place?

Came back from Suicide Squad. Yes gave DC a third strike and they hit, first base but he better then an other out. I came in hoping for just three things: 1. Make me laugh, and I laughed some characters better then others. 2. Great action, It was sometimes chaotic but still solid 2 out of 2 so far. 3. one simple plot, every important one, after the 6 movies we'll never get to see because they are somewhat in BvS lets just make this one movie, thank god they did it. Warner Bros still has a long way to go, but they finally made a movie that wasn't afraid to be a comicbook movie. First half hour was slow for me and when the movie picked up we had a break. I guess after that the second act started wich is by far the best part, The third and final part of the movie started of okay but the final fight and the seconds after it felt like I had to roll with it. Overall I enjoyed myself, Best DCEU movie if you ask me and I dare to say better then three MCU movies.

I'm heading to Kolmarden with a group, but one of us is rather tall and he recently had a bad experience in a park with his height. Can anybody tell me if Wildfire has a max height limit and how big that is? I can't find it. -
Just saw Ghostbusters. Yes it has a bad side, but it's way from awful. If you have a slight interest to see this film do it you literally have nothing to lose and perhaps it's worth it more then you thought. Off-course this movie wasn't going to beat Ghostbuster 1. Liked it more then I thought I would.

Pokemon GO at Theme Parks!
RCT3Bross replied to Peeps28's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
In my opinion this goes too far. I can see parks getting the benefit of using the app for marketing (the game isn't even officially out here but my local park already using it to attract people, and even helps in a Pokémon Go day some users of the app are setting up in the park.) But in the rollercoasters that goes too far a Darkride on the other hand. -

As a Star Wars fan kind of a clash. All kidding aside, I can see how huge this is for MPG and off-coarse I'm exited to ride it when its done. Love to see how they handle the theming. -
I'm blowing off dust, This trip has finnaly gained tracktion and seems Green light is soon lighted. Found out something that I like to have verified/informed over, It's the Tax of Göttenborg: -I read that I could avoid it in the Weekends, is this true? -And is this something I have to worry about. As of now we have the idea to go around August 7th till August 14th maybe a day or 2 longer. -Any idea on croweds in that period (Kolmården and Liseberg)? -Any idea on weather, I don't want to park shorts if I aint gonna wear them. It could be that more questions follow, but for now this is it.

I like to post some pictures of past Friday, didn't have time for this earlier and don't want to make a full TR. They already took down the fence Friday and it really opened up the scene. I really like this opening they had, both employ's holding the robe had stick one representing Taron and the Other Raik, it are the sticks measuring height. Shot of the really good entrance. It's unbelievable close to the pathways. Like this part just in front of the entrance. At this point looking at the ride you hear the best soundtrack. Raik it's really tall. Two other shots off how close this coaster gets to you. Despite this being the "slow" part of the ride it still zips through it. There are some really nicely themed toilets underneath Rutmor's Tavern. -

RCT3Bross replied to roeterich's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Okay guys just back from Phantasialand. I like to start with a small review on Raik, Like many said fun for kids and surprisingly good for what it is. Minor nitpick wish the turning spike would go up higher. Also noticed many older people in the queue and very little small ones. Taron: A wolf in sheeps cloths, after the first launch you get the sheep and you believe it's a sheep, and it could end there having had a great ride. The Second launch the wolf attacks and it's a savage beast that goes on till the end. Second ride on Taron I thought I knew what to expect, nope got better, third time in front row, got better, fourth time in back row I no longer tried to fight the wolf as it had attack me from several sides, My body could literally not keep up with the speed. When you have a chance to ride it do not underestimate it. Klugheim: It looks amazing nothing I ever saw before. Walking in the coil of Taron having it fly by on every end, the music is great like when your on the bridge at the end of the second launch hearing the music of when a train goes to the first launch or hearing the music of the second launch. Walked into the Tavern just for a small peak looked nice from what I saw small but good, also underneath the Tavern before you go underneath the Archway to the Mystery entry there are some good themed toilets as well, they really went all out and it shows. Also despite working with a new system they already had a hang of it as both rides dispatched quick. -

I'm sure that must have been worth it. Thanks for replying anyway. Thanks for the little review. Sounds like they found a ride the complete opposite of their line up so far (with maybe and exception of TotNH) of Thrill and thrilling family coaster to a kid friendly family coaster that still doesn't go full kiddy. Now I'm sure to try it out thank you. About the restrains, I can't really imagen what to expect about them as I never ride kiddies so never did a Vekoma Junior, but still thanks for the heads up I'm around that height so now I can keep it in mind.
