  1. Not at all since it's replacing Race for Atlantis and not Nighthawk/Hollywood Tour. With this opening so soon after Taron and Riak and so close to TotNH and the fact that the ride is well past it's prime. I almost dare to put money on it that it's the next to go, almost.
  2. Don't forget Black Mamba, Talocan, Wakobato, Maus au Chocolat, Wellenflug and Chiapas. All these rides opened in the past 10 years, that's just insane! Hate to tell you but Black Mamba is 11 years old. But all jocking aside yeah they had an insane run the past 10 years, even if you consider that what you collected are just big rides. In 2007 Talocan, 2008 a new hotel (Matatamba) [jet removal], 2009 Wakobato and 2 small rides near the entrance [Arch, playground, Gondelbahn and waltztraum removed], 2010 5 small rides added First half Kaizerplatz, 2011 Maus au Chocolat, Wellenflug and Tikal Second half Kaizerplatz [partly new theming Colorado, Stonewash and Wildwash removal], 2012 Hotel Tartüff, 2013 [Rest of Colorado's new theming}, 2014 [silbermine removed] Chiapas opens, 2015 [Race to Atlantis removed], 2016 Raik and Taron open, 2017 [River Quest retheme, lot of theming completion (Taron, Chiapas), 2018? Possible year of F.L.Y.? I thought to include the removals as well as there where a lot. This list puts other parks to shame really,
  3. RIP Temple of the Nighthawk and Hollywood tour? Anybody thinking the same? This is unexpected great news, the last 24 hours where great for European enthousiast if you ask me. Really like the generic name, the dots make me think about an acronym for something we learn in the rides story. Phantasialand is on a roll First Taron and Riak now this. Has somebody checked German banks because I wonder where they keep getting the money from.
  4. So glad to hear it will be there for people to enjoy once again. This is by far one of the best coasters I ever did, I hope to ride it again in the near future.
  5. That Animatronic looks great. I still think going with the mascot theme wasn't that good of a choice, but who knows maybe I will be surprised. Verry happy on the new higth restriction, it sounds to me they're going for some eye candy from the road to draw in more people. So a new coaster is very likely and a good fit for that. To see a new B&M is would be great and yes Flying please.
  6. ^ 20 min tops, in the morning we had one train later they added the second. Wich made it the smallest queue for a large ride.
  7. So rode Star Trek today. A fun ride, really the best in the park. It's nothing too special keep that in mind, but if you're already planning to go it's defiantly worth a ride. Theming is great for Movie park Standards, it's not top notch but it's detailed enough. I have nothing with Star Trek and most coaster has a story, so I was fearful I wouldn't get the story but even with my 0.00% knowledge I understood it. Sure fans might get a reference or two in names or numbers but I think they kept the story simple enough for everybody. Last tip: Ride it as late as possible, in the morning it crawls through the track at the end of the day it really has some speed to it.
  8. Movie Park Germany. Now there is a clear cut "It's open" Message (Refering to Star Trek.) from the park. So maybe this weekend, it's a long weekend so big chance.
  9. Okay so this is strange. I was just going by all my usual forums when this came by in a ST:OE threat was posted: Source Facebook Movie park Germany. AB Jetzt Geöffnet means Open now. So either they are really confident or this is media suicide. I know you're thinking this might be a mix up on Facebook. So I went digging and here's a link to the official site http://www.operation-enterprise.de/en/ . Again open now. So the park has not confirmed the test phase is over, so what do you guys think? Official opening on the horizon or just confident? Also thanks for the tips I will take it into consideration. Edit 5/30/2017: So the park has confirmed it's open. http://movieparkgermany.de/movie-park-backstage/star-trektm-operation-enterprise-ist-ab-jetzt-geoeffnet This might be the weirdest opening I ever witnessed as an enthusiast. But at least I can plan a visit now maybe even this weekend and focus on the next thing.
  10. Does anybody here know my chances with this ride? I'm planning to vist Movie park soon to ride Star Trek but I fear that with the Soft opening I might end up wasting time and money to get over there. So how big are the chances on a let down so to speak.
  11. Taron at Phantasialand. Really love that ride.
  12. Okay I just needed an exhaust port here, but wow still no openings date for this ride. It kind of has become frustrating because I had expected it to be open already. I mean is it so hard to release a openings date (even if it's July) It's mostly paint work from pictures (I'm aware that on the inside some things are left, still can't be too much right?), I mean the Gift shop has already been stocked. (For those who wonder how I know Coasterfriends.de.) I'm aware this is somewhat of a rant, it just I've been itching for something new, and the easiest park to offer me that keeps silent about that new thing. And I wonder if I'm the only one who wonders why this ride still has no opening date.
  13. Okay not the biggest fan, I'm still hoping for a bit more like Flug der DÄmonen at Heide park. But who knows maybe the actual lay-out (taking the top view as 100% fact here) could be a little more intersting, we'll see. Just a question why is this a populair rumor though? Just curios.
  14. Saw it monday, I don't know. I like it a lot just didn't check all the boxes of expectations. Everything related to Ayesha felt filler, but I enjoyed Yondu's, Nebula's and Peter's story very much. If I had to pick vol1 or vol2 I would give vol1 a slight edge with the unexpected factor it had when it came out. And wow those where a lot of end credit scenes.
  15. Thanks for putting me on ease, Like I said I have no idea where it came from and 90% sure it wasn't linked to Plopsaland at all. But it struck something that if such a rule does exist Plopsa would be a valid contender for it seeing the park mostly aimed to children. I wasn't even sure if I should start about it but it was holding me off to much. Thank you again and I think I start planning soon.
  16. No it's not a suprise for sure, it really is just confirming the thoughts of many. Recently someone asked me when it opens and my response was: while officially it still just summer 2017 I'm almost certain of a July 1st openings date. So let's see if I can plan a vistit after it opens.
  17. really love that color scheme and the ride isn't bad looking as wel.
  18. Okay this might be a silly fear might be justified. But I'm currently looking for a new (for me) park to visit rather soon without having to wait for a coaster to open. So Plopsaland has become my number one choice, although i have a slight fear when it comes to this park. I can't remember where I read this but I remember something about parks refusing single grown ups out of fear of child abusers. I know this might not even be a real problem but is it something to watch out for when it comes to Plopsaland? I know it's silly but I refuse to make the trip to be halted at the gates. Also if that isn't a problem (or there is an easy way I can fix it) what might be the best time to visit so crowds are somewhat low? Thanks in advance.
  19. Okay don't want to spread anything but... I just read on a news site, which has been known to hit the nails on news like this, that Rookburgh's main attraction is indeed a coaster (Flying coaster from Vekoma). Keep in mind the park will not confirm this anytime soon so this is a rumor. But it does make you think if they indeed place a coaster, so close after adding two, near the Night Hawk it seems pretty clear the next step is the removal of the ride. Again this is nothing but a rumor, but I do see it as merit.
  20. ^ That's a video I wish I didn't see. Man that whirlpool part would have surprised me so much that looks amazing. Phantasialand keeps hitting it out the park when it comes to theming.
  21. I might go earlier in the season now I see this. That looks amazing.
  22. ^ Must be. Realy like what this became I think a visit to Denmark isn't far off anymore.
  23. It looks like they're finishing up some things left behind. Took them only 4 years to connect two paths a meter away from one other. Also love that boat always love it when "real" items get used for theming.
  24. van Helsings Factory but pretty sure that will change soon. PortAventura park?
  25. It really looks much better then before. Would love to ride it again soon in it's complete form.
