  5. All of Europa Park is amazing GO THERE you will not be disappointed
  6. I know that, I was referring to him saying if a coaster had an 90 degree twist it was not a family coaster
  7. I don't, and will never consider any roller coaster with (an) inversion(s) to be a family coaster. The intimidation factor just shoots up. Well this is a family coaster.
  8. Yes, I have also been on that ride and as I said there is no swinging on the Vekoma SFC's. I also don't see it in the POV. As I said earlier they are dampeners, so obviously there is some sideways movement from them, but it's not swinging. No i don't mean they swing freely but they do move from side to side.
  9. They are all inverting rides. The SFC is not suspended, what you see is only dampeners. The trains don't swing at all, the dampening isn't noticeable at all when you are on the ride. The only reason they are there is to allow a lighter construction of the train. They do actually swing, just look at the end of this POV, the car slowly swings back when it enter the station. And I have been on this coaster and you notice the train swing when entering the station [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  10. This, if I had ridden it two times in a row last time i was there i would probably get off with a headache
  11. There is a new demo coming this month so be sure to check that out aswell
  12. According to the post on the previous page it is a clone only mirrored, it's even the same manufacturer. I mean they didn't knock off other manufacturer. Oh okey, sorry i misunderstood.
  13. According to the post on the previous page it is a clone only mirrored, it's even the same manufacturer.
  14. I think it`s a mirror image of this
  15. It`s not going that fast over the hill so I don`t know if that was the problem?
  16. So this is Titanic: Honor and Glory, it`s a Titanic game that is in the making. It has been in the making a couple of years now, there is no release date set yet but they are aiming for 2018. They are recreating the entire ship as accurately to the real one as possible. There will be a walkthrough mode and a game mode with a story. In the gameplay mode when you reach the iceberg collision the sinking will be in real time. There is a free demo you can download from their website witch is a walkthrough of the 1st class reception room, the grand staircase from the reception room on D deck down to F deck, the turkish bath cooling room and the 3rd class dining room. A new demo will be released sometime this month that will include the Cafe Parisien, the a la carte restaurant and the aft grand staircase as well as some cabins. They also released a real time sinking video. Trailer: Sinking video: www.titanichg.com Facebook Youtube channel Grand staircase Cafe Parisien 3rd class dining room 1st class dining room Crew cabin
  17. Based on the last time I rode it i would think the valleys and the helix is in need of retracking.
  18. It is unusual because rides without a MCBR don't need three trains as one will always be waiting outside the station or even two on slow dispatches. GCI rides don't usefully have a MCBR so don't need the extra train. HOWEVER, this coaster seems to have a dual station on it, with load and unload, allowing it to have more trains, to speed up dispatches without a useless train. Should have a good throughput. Wodan at Europa Park is running three trains with one station without stacking, so it is possible to do it
  19. And again they mentioned The Smiler wich is totally unrelated to this.
  20. They are still in the financing part of the project. Though the 'Sveio' city council are working on changing the regulation plan for the area to include a hotel and a indoor waterpark.
  21. Not a Vekoma. What other manufacturers could it be? The trains in the video looked like Vekoma ones and it would make sense since Farup built Orkanen a couple years back. It might be Mack or Intamin, when i look closer on the trains they don`t look like the Vekoma family suspended coaster trains.
  22. Next year Djurs is building europes longest and fastest family suspended coaster. 30 meters tall 85 km/h 825 meters long. And they will announce something that they say is very unique about this coaster later. [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]
  23. Well it have officially made it's way to the news in Norway for some reason www.vgtv.no/#!/video/129543/paa-det-hoeyeste-punktet-gaar-det-galt
  24. Thanks for sharing this! I either read about this process, or someone told me about it in the park, and wondered if it was true. What lowered it? I noticed there was a cable running parallel to the lift hill and wondered if that was part of it? It appeared to be the chain itself only in reverse. You would think if they could get the chain going backwards they could just make it go normally instead. I think they release the brakes on the lift motor so that gravity lower the train back down. That`s why they have the magnetic fins on the lift, to bring the train slowly back down
  25. I found this on youtube and thought it was quite interesting. Love that they call their coasters "smooth"
