  2. They have quite a few food options actually, a medieval chicken restaurant, a BBQ buffet a burger restaurant, pizza, pasta and so on
  3. Yes you can take the ferry from Denmark to Stavanger And they just got brand new really nice ships
  4. You go through some sort of "training" and then you are supposed to put out a fire. I'm not quite sure because it's a childrens ride
  5. This is my first trip report so be kind if i make any mistakes So this is probably a themepark you`ve never heard of. It`s located 20 minutes from Stavanger on the west coast of Norway, and it is themed to teddy bears. It`s more of a family park and not so much for thrill seekers, but fun nonetheless. Today it was not very crowded with the longest queue being maximum 20 minutes. But i have never experienced more than 30-40 minutes queue at the park. Now over to the photos. The entrance Entance plaza Here you can borrow a camera for FREE! Games The new attraction for this season, "Fossen" (The waterfall), it`s a log flume. All the theming was not finished when i visited. On this log flume you actually get SOAKED! And they have not installed all the water effects yet, so then you will get even wetter. It`s the only log flume in scandinavia that runs backwards. The station/gift shop building. Station Queue First lift hill. Here you can dry yourself. Gift shop. This is the only attraction of it`s kind in the world! Now over to probably the best themed Reverchon spinner in the world. The park is quite hilly, and the spinner is on top of a hill so you get a really good view from the queue You can still see the color it had before it was relocated. The park also have an ABC tilt tower. Palm trees in norway... And they have two of these jumping boat rides. They also have a 1000m long bob-sled This is also the only one of it`s kind in the world. Nothing to declare You spin the cups yourself, and the q on the cups is the logo for a milk brand in Norway called q-milk This is the building around the bumper cars. This is the parks second coaster, it`s Vekoma junior coaster. The station The entrance The queue Inside the station. This is the entrance to "Nordavinden" ( The north wind) It`s a graviton. The queue There is some really creepy music in here... To get to this attraction there is a hill, some stairs, more stairs and even more stairs. The park map. And i end this trip report with a picture of the gift shop in the enrance plaza. Hope you liked it. Oh, and they're building a new attraction for next year. It's quite a big area maybe it's a coaster?
  6. From Djurs Sommerland`s facebook Translated: We have received over 5000 m3 of concrete. We can cover all of Djurs Sommerland with 1 cm of concrete, but we will rather pour 429 foundations to Denmarks biggest new attraction in 2013! Link
  7. Not really, i was there two weeks ago and there where many people. Falken only have one train but the line never got more than 20 minutes. So i think this will be the same.
  8. It say 2013. But they are closing two attractions the rest of the season (2012) because of construction
  9. Djurs Sommerland just posted this on facebook. www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150965784096831&set=a.10150638381291831.378664.98706416830&type=1&theater It says: We make room for Denmarks biggest new attraction in 2013. And thats why the climbing mountain and the spidernet is closed the rest of 2012.
  10. I think something BIG is coming to Djurs next year! I was at the park today and they were digging a big area behind "Thor's Hammer's" station building and lift hill! New coaster maybe? Sorry i did not take any pictures.
