Er.... they are on TWO DIFFERENT CONTINENTS! Who besides enthusiasts will know or care? Who besides enthusiasts in the US even KNOWS about Thorpe Park? I for one would LOVE to get BOTH credits! I don't give a crap if they are very similar or the same. Look at B&M inverts - how many of them start off with turning drop - vertical loop? (Montu, Batman, Nemesis Inferno, Raptor, Afterburn, Patriot, Silver Bullet, Talon) How many of them have a batwing in them? Who cares.

Oh man! I had no idea there was a Star Trek thing at the Kennedy Space Center!!! I was just there this summer to see the last shuttle launch... I wish I would have known, I would have gone over there. Love the pictures!!

Personally, I would love a coaster that goes lift, drop, turn, BRAKE RUN. The brake run awesomeness is where it's at.

I"m not saying Kings Dominion is perfect or even near the top of my list of favorite parks, but: ^^ I've seen trains stacked on lots of coasters around the country. Doesn't make KD any worse than any other park. ^ It's labor day weekend. Doesn't that make the park get more crowded? More people = longer wait no matter where you are.

...really? When the heck do you visit the park? I've been going there regularly for 3 years and haven't seen operations as bad as you describe.

The best part was, we had no idea what happened. I thought it was just the wind, I didn't even say anything about it to my bf. I think they shut the rides down for a while after but we didn't notice because right after we got off the ride, we went to lunch, then left the park. I got to the car and found a text and voice mail from my dad asking if I was ok... lol
