^Hence why I get skeptical about the bullying. Again I do not want the orginal poster to be upset and I promise I am not making light of her situation. If her son is getting bullied to that point then something needs to be done. At the younger age level they get mad really fast and forgive even faster. I have a student who twice a week says "can you get him he is picking on me". the other three days they sit next to each other in class. Some years I finally have to tell them to fight it out or never tattle again those are your only two choices.

Heck CF said the same thing about Geagu(sp) Lake. I do think this company is interested in running it as a park, but money is Always the bottom line.

I don't believe those people are workers, since to be a worker you have to actually do work.

As an 8 year teacher I would only classify a few students as true bullies. By that i mean kids who pick on others for doing nothing. 90% of my kids who say they are bullied is because they talk massive poo-poo to the other students all day to the point that the other student threatens violence. Then the trash talker usually comes to me and wants me to save him from the beatdown he has been asking for since lunch. Those kids never semm happy with my response of "What did you expect when you said all that stuff" I am not making light of this situation I am just speaking from experience that most kids don't pick on the truly nice kids.

Before I became a park enthusiast, information like this would have been considered great news. Now that I have seen what corporate places do to nice parks I am terrified. I am hoping against hope that things stay the same, but I believe this is all down hill. The only positive I see is that unlike CF and SF this company seems to have experience running and smaller park and may not try to make a smaller park into a giant park. Maybe they will offer a company wide season pass.

The three I have been to by this company were very nice, but not the best capacity. I am shocked and saddened by this information.

I personally put most of the responsibility for the demise in parks on us. As customers we stopped wanting to go to little parks because the big ones had more rides. The employees are rude, because we don't want to pay more for tickets unless the park has just put something new in. We can't understand when parks charge more when they haven't added anything in awhile. Every year we want every park to put in a new coaster. Well we got this ride, but I was hoping for a B&M hyper this year, well maybe next year. Our attitudes toward parks have not changed since the 80's and in fact have gotten worse. We continue to let small parks dissapear and some, not all, heap praise on to the CF chain when all they do is give us several cookie cutter ideas of the same park. If you want the old fashioned quality then start visiting your old fashionshed parks, instead of visiting SF 16 times a season then complaining about it 15 times. Load up in your car and visit some new places, and if not be prepeared for more of the same in the future as you read Shane's great post and say "I wish it was like that now" or "If we had parks like that today I would definately go". We do have parks like that today, but lots of people don't go. Indiana Beach Knoebels Adventureland (IA) Waldameer Martin's Seabreeze Idlewild Compounce Canobie Kennywood These are all traditional parks that have a feeling similar to GL before SF "ruined it". I am sure all these parks would be very happy if you spent some of your money there as opposed to trying to ride (place coaster name here) 300 times a year at your local chain park.

Looked like a pretty cool place, but I can also understand why it had trouble down in that area of the country. Either way Great work!

Haven't we pretty much beat this horse into a mound of glue. Unless they start giving out prize money to people whose favorite coaster is also number 1 on the list, then it really is not that big of deal.

You put the teams you would have in a playoff, but which teams would have playing for the national championship in the current system? What teams deserve, in your opinion, to be in the title game? < ND hater, got very tired of the Brady Quinn love fest last year. I also wonder why Weis has not been fired. Seemed like Willingham had a better record. So I am not sorry to annoy you. I just can not stand ND or their fans, but not as much as I despise the Denver Broncos or their fans. My level of apathy of any ND fans feelings about me as ND hater can not really be measured or over stated. Weis is record is better and has 2 BCS bids to none for TY. That equals huge money for the school. I guess I didn't see the Quinn lovefest you speak of either. Did he win the Heisman, go number 1 in the draft, so where is said love. Seems to be he pretty much got absolutely ripped apart even though he threw for over 10,000 yards in his career. For the guy who said ND did not deserve to be in the BCS the last FEW years. It was only 2 and Who deserved instead of them. Especially the year they played OSU. What they didn't deserve was to be matched up with that team that year. They should have been the third or fourth at large choice, not first. But again please name the school or schools that deserved it more then them, that could actually go by the BCS rules. Again should they have turned it down and no matter what happens it is great for the pocketbook, great for your fans and obviously great for recruiting. Beemer thats fine you feel that way but all the other team hate I could have mustered this year would not have made my season anymore enjoyable. And to be honest we are closer to figuring this out than Miami is.

This is why as much as I love Notre Dame, but hate our fans I still find Notre Dame haters to be more annoying then ND lovers. You can't get into a bowl with a losing record no matter WHO you are. The previous 2 seasons i will be the first to admit the Irish were way overmatched in their bowls, so what should they have done turned the game down. Is it really the school's fault that their fans make ANY bowl game HUGE money. ND has rules to get into the BCS. No one had to put a gun to these BCS's peoples head to agree to ND's rules. If ALL the other schools thought it was so unfair that ND is not in a conference they could easily solve that problem by NOT PLAYING THEM. Schools won't do that either because ND makes those schools huge cash when ND plays them. Heck the Big Ten schools won't stop playing even after ND supposedly insulted them by not joining their conference. Even after an absolutely awful ND season, the WORST in their history, it is still not enough for the haters. Personally that is what I think is the worst thing about the haters, because when ND is good most ND fans do not give a flying crap about any other team, but ND haters still obsess about ND even when their team is on top. Bottomline if Notre Dame was really as unimportant to college football as the haters want to believe then why do they still get talked about? Why have they stayed relevant based on their history, when so mony other programs with great history have just died away. I mean seriously haters do you just sit at home in a cold sweat, terrified that some year ND will win their next title. Because as a ND fan I don't worry at all if FSU or Miami recover anytime soon. I don't worry about the day that USC gets more Heisman's or more National Titles. I don't worry about Michigan having more wins, all I do is root for my team and let the chips fall where they may.

Everytime I see this I just get pissed. I always think of two things. 1. how many people die from drunk drivers. 2. Every year in Indiana alone 57 kids are killed from abuse by their own parents. Out of these 2 along with amusment accidents I wonder which one is the least severe problem.

Europe trip everything else is just icing.

I have to say as a Notre Dame fan I find this to be very funny this year. After listening to people go crazy that a two loss Irish team got to play in the BCS, I can't even imagine what it would have been if a 2 loss Irish team went for the Championship. Either way I see this year being the one that pushes the and 1 game into the mix. To be honest I really just miss the old bowls.

I think posting your opinion on what other's opinion of where a ride ranks on said person's list may be one of the biggest wastes of keystrokes in internet history. So to help alleviate this problem I have done some extensive research into ALL the criteria Robb and Elissa use to rank their rides. So without further ado..... The ones they Personaly like the best are on the top of the list and the ones they Personaly don't enjoy are on the bottom. I hope this has helped with all future theories on where people ranked their rides.

This is the first year I actually voted, but at least for the past 3 years I have always found this to be the most accurate poll. I guess as a coaster fan I just wonder why would you want to ruin a great poll just so you can see "your" coaster on top. Is your opinion of yourself so weak that you can only feel justified if your coaster matches that of others? If so, grow up and get a life. I spent 30+ minutes on my ballot turned it in and that was it. I haven't really thought about it sense and definately do not care where Phoenix ends up at since it will still be my favaorite, no matter what a bunch of self absorbed coaster geeks with the self confidence of a 12 year old boy at his first dance thinks. I guess the competitor in me does not see what the reward in having your coaster ranked number 1 means if you had to cheat the poll to get it there. Good job tools, maybe next year Mitch can just ask for money to put in a ballot and then it will be more like the golden tickets. IB definately better than HW. The tacos rule and IMO are the only counter food I had there that was worth eating twice other than the corndogs. I agree Chuck the name is awesome and it gives "going hoggin" a nice new meaning.
