CF has no theme, so of course it is easier to mesh with that theme. A western section of a park is one area, that is all there is. SFOG may not make much sense, but at least you can tell you are in different areas of the park. Axman you would get a lot more credit in this thread if you stopped trying to convince us CF has a theme. Just say they make really good amusement parks and that would be easier. For me I find the CF parks boring because if I am not in line for a ride I have nothing to look at. the SF parks at least give me something to do while passing time between lines.

^ and ^^ You guys both realize that they are packing 40,000 people into that place on HHN. That includes tons of teens and drunk 20 somethings. Most of this thread would be non existant if the people in America were not such filthy slobs.

Who gave you that bad crack you're smoking? Very mature and there is no way you can say the CF chain is themed better than SF. Other than Derby Racer and Blue Streak everything in that park was built after 75. I am not sure SF is better, but most of their parks are also much newer.

Today ND's genius of a head coach decided to restart training camp. He essentially tried to revamp the offense, just for the GT game and no is trying to go back to the orginal offense. He did this with a team whose talent is dominated by Freshman and Sophmores and he NOW realizes that was a mistake. Really. You mean 18-22 year old kids can't learn multiple playbooks. Hey big guy this isn't the pros and these are not the Patriots.

I would say that SFGAD lineup is on par with CP. With that being said I have never thought that CP was the problem in this argument. It is not as good as it used to be, but it is not the problem. I still find it the best park out of the 2 chains, it is all the other CF parks that look like little mini clones that cause me to be so in favor of SF.

He has been to two parks, one of which you hate so much it is in your siganture. I doubt if that makes him the expert on the matter. Glad it made you happy to not be alone.

I am still trying to comprehend what was great at ValleyFair. Almost every coaster has trims, the flats are ran at 1/3 the speed. The souvenirs were awful, the water park sucks, and they have no theme at all. Valley fair is where fun goes to die. MIA has as much foliage, which is none, but at least MIA has an amazing water park. The only 2 things I liked the whole day was the upcharge Skyscraper and the chicken. Camp Snoopy was only managed by CF and that was quite a while ago. IMO you just need to look at GL to see who is better.

PKI seemed better this year, but is still nowhere close to the King's days. My visit to PKD was better, but had horrible operations. Bottom line is CF knows how to run one park correctly.

This would be better if you had actually talked about any other park other than SFMM. The thread talks about the chain, not just one park. Plus you also blast SFMM constantly on other sites so try to find some new material and try visiting some new parks. Spend a day at MIA, VF, PKI, GL and tell me how awesome CF is, not just CP. Everyone, except for 5 people on the first page alone. Try making an intelligent post.

5 years ago it would not have even been close, however the more CF buys, the farther away they get from what used to make CP great. A big park with a small park feel. Now I realize SF has problems, however for me, I have had much better experiences at every SF park I have been to, then any CF park other then CP. I rip CP pretty hard, but I am also non-biased and I still feel that CP is the best park out of the 2 chains. However after CP I find EVERY SF park other then KK to be superior to every CF park. Just for reference I believe I have been to all the parks owned by each chain East of the Mississippi other then La Ronde.

Spokker there was no attitude in that post he was just stating facts. Even if he was, doesn't he have that right. They bust their hump to pull off these trips and you come in with the I can do it cheaper and I want culture credits. Those beliefs are fine, but why did you feel the need to post in the trip thread that the trip isn't for you. the thread is for people who have questions that are actually interested in going. BTW no way possible can you do the same trip, with the same perks, staying in the same motels, for anywhere close to what they did.

I love Port Aventura. Definately the highlight of the Spain trip. 17 rides on Baco could definately put you in a casket.

I am so glad I have a job, coaching, a wife, dog, other hobbies, and actual trips to plan, that way even though Hershey is one of my favorite places I don't spend my days worried about what will be there.

I think their food is better then CF. Now that is not saying much, but it is true. With MIA and SFKK being almost unedible.

I went to 5 different SF parks this summer and had a very good to great time at every park. I went to 4 CF parks and had good times at each. Was SF perfect of course not but overall I had much better experiences at those parks. The chain is improving and that is all you can ask.

Thats not true we have the ten year in a row golden ticket winning park, not to mention almost every other golden ticket winner. We know thos are not biased. USA USA

Men at Work was awesome that is definately a victory.

^well played. I am not sure why I even travel to other parks, since none of them could be better.
