  1. Good riddance if you ask me! The entire X-section of the park was total crap! Hopefully the park will add some better rides/theming to that area. If they manage to attract more visitors they might be able to improve their amazingly horrible operations aswell...
  2. Nice pictures! Looks like you had a great time! I must say that the seats and restraints on Scream looks surpringly worn for being on a 3-year old coaster....
  3. I think you are misunderstanding his question a bit. I cant tell for sure, but to me it seems like hes asking why is there a dip in the middle of the turn instead of having just a flat 180 degree turn. I dont know why, but I know that the pre-lift turns always surprise me a little and really helps increasing anticipation for the big drop.
  4. Superman la Attracion de Acero - Great airtime in the backseat!
  5. Thanks for sharing the pictures. It looks like it will turn out really nice. And the location is just amazing with the view of the sea.
  6. The concept art looks VERY impressive. If the park is anything like that, it should be amazing!
  7. Hmmm Im not sure which ride has the highest G-forces, but heres a list of the most intense coaster moments I have experienced: - Batman la Fuga @ WBMW Madrid - Megablitz @ Prater. Those helixes are insane! - Backwards through the loop on Boomerangs. - The vertical loop and final turn on Looping Star @ Vidampark
  8. Hmmm I have been riding Thundercoaster every year for the last 4 years now, but I have only ridden it once in the front seat (april this year) and I just remember coming off and thinking it was kinda 'meh' and everyone else seems to think its better in the backseat so I havent bothered riding in the front again. Not when I can experience the OMFG moment you get on the little hill where they take the pictures in the backseat (only in the rain of course) When I rode it this summer it was after a month of dry weather so that should explain the crappy ride. It was absolutely horrible. Thank god for the heavily padded seats! Its a shame that I didnt get to ride it the first year because people say that it was amazing that year. And it didnt have the seatbelts....
  9. They could build one of those Nautic Jets
  10. Thundercoaster smooth??? HAHA! Its nowhere near smooth! Its not that rough in the rain, but it still throws you around like crazy (which I like). But in good weather, Thundercoaster is one of the most uncomfortable coasters I have ever ridden. The entire coaster feels like its going to shake itself apart, and its a spine-adjuster at the bottom of every hill. My guess is that the wood bends a bit more when its wet so the transitions arent as abrupt in the rain. Damn you Tusenfryd for contacting Vekoma to supply the trains when the coaster wasnt designed for them! Yngve "Is still confused about Robb's comment about crazy airtime in the front seat" Oestbye
  11. I could imagine a smaller droptower would work pretty well. Something like the Intamin drop tower that could be found at the Trocadero mall in England. http://www.themeparkreview.com/eco/london/london.htm (pictures about halfway down the page)
  12. Ive heard people saying that Batman la Fuga @ WBMW Madrid is more intense than the average B:TR clone and that one has 7 cars per train aswell. It does make sense because less wheels -> less friction. I wonder how intense Lightning @ Entertainment City is.... that is a B:TR clone with only 6 cars per train. It should be flying!
  13. Of the coasters I have been on, Balder has the most airtime. When it comes to the most intense airtime, I have to say Wild Train. That coaster has by far the most intense airtime Ive ever experienced. Thundercoaster in the rain is also very intense, especially the little hill where they take your photo in the backseat.
  14. The Ball coaster is in Finland. The Wingwalker is in Spain.
  15. Whats up with the random blue car on the red train on TDZ??? Great pictures!
  16. http://www.nolimitscoaster.de/progress.htm You may have to press F5.
  17. If it was the 9th of March next year there wouldnt be any reasons for the park to make such a fuss about it right now.
  18. This one is easy: Wild Train! The only kiddie-sized non-kiddie coaster I can think of
  19. And S&S should leave the towers to Intamin... Atleast the drop towers! Nice pictures BTW!
  20. Nice pictures! I think I would be 'slightly' nervous about going on Vertigo. It looks very fun though...
  21. Thats weird because I think the Intamin droptowers are far more intense than the S&S towers, which feels very controlled. The Intamin towers are only powered by gravity once the cars are realesed and it just keep going faster and faster until it hit the brakes. S&S towers have a quick acceleration at the top, but after that they move downwards at somewhat constant speed with no sensation of falling at all.
  22. Whoa WTF??? The back spike looks like it has the steepest point in the middle and not on the top. That coaster is just seriously messed up!!! Yngve "I soooooooooo want to go there" Oestbye
  23. RCT strikes again.....
  24. Ive heard some people who thinks that the ride has been improved alot with the new trains. I havent ridden it though, so I cant give you any of my opinions on it...
