  1. The same thing happened to me, which is why I never spent much time playing the scenarios in RCT3
  2. Im almost done with my new park called Adventure Island. Most of the park is on an island with jungle theming, but there is also an Atlantis section. I only have to add more trees and bushes where its needed, and maybe a tiny bit of terrain some places. Here are some screenshots for you to enjoy while waiting
  3. There are no big drops on RnR, just turns and inversions. Heres some pictures of the outdoor versionm which is pretty much excactly similar http://www.rcdb.com/ig769.htm Have fun!
  4. Heres a picture I took a few weeks ago when my favorite team SK Brann from Bergen beat Fredrikstad 4-0. The match is about to start. 30 seconds later the first goal came. The atmosphere was fantastic that day, even with only 12600 people watching the match. The max capacity is 17600. Heres also a picture of the stadium from the air:
  5. Excellent video Phil! Gröna Lund looks like a great park. Jetline looks fantastic and Vilda Musen looks like alot of fun. And damn, that droptower is HUGE! I have to get there sometime. Maybe next year...
  6. I remember when I went to WBMW Madrid 2 years ago. Batman and Superman were walk-ons all day, WWW had a big queue before they added the second train and the Stunt Fall station was completely dead. There was probably no more than 4-5 people waiting to ride it when we entered the station (and yes, the ride was open). People just stayed in their seats.
  7. Ive heard that if you want your spine adjusted, you should ride Cyclone in the backseat so I guess its fairly normal
  8. Heres a list of the parks I did this year: Liseberg Thorpe park Vidampark Viener Prater Erlebnispark Strasswalchen Canevaworld Gardaland Mirabilandia Tusenfryd Liseberg was probably my favorite park with 3 excellent coasters
  9. I love the entry to the final helix on Lisebergsbanan. You got airtime and lateral G-forces at the same time, its fantastic!
  10. OMG how could I forget to mention all the teenage girls flashing their bra's for the camera on Thundercoaster?? That was totally awesome!!!
  11. So last Saturday I went to Tusenfryd with 2 of my friends, Alf Gunnar and Stian. Alf Gunnar is also known as Nosferatu on this site Im gonna let the pictures do the most of the talking, but some notes about our visit: -We were all very dissappointed with Thundercoaster. It was running slower than ever. Not even "The drop" managed to impress us. Its not as rough as I remember though. One train operations made a short line quite long, probably 20-30 mins. -Loopen has to be the smoothest Vekoma-Tornado-coaster-with-Arrow-trains ever. Atleast our first ride in car 6 was very enjoyable. Car 7 was a bit rougher, but not bad at all. -Supersplash still makes a big splash -They have done alot of digging for Speedmonster I have onride videos of Teeny-Weeny(VERY RARE) and Loopen which I might post later. I had to take a picture of the Enterprise since its being removed after this season We were not sure what they were trying to teach the kids on the kiddie coaster. The Arrow logflume is a nice family ride. Many of the hills had very weak airtime compared to what they were like a few years ago. It was such a shame... Not even "The Drop" managed to impress us. Thundercoaster was running slower than ever... We then made our way to Thundercoaster. With only one train operating, the line was unneccesary long. ...which resultet in Alf Gunnar getting more wet ... so they decied to have a waterballon-slingshot war... But Stian and Alf Gunnar figured out that they werent wet enough... Alf Gunnar and Stian is hiding behind the plexiglass wall. They still got pretty wet because all the water landed on their backs. ...over a small hill and makes a BIG SPLASH!! ..into a tunnel... It goes down a very good drop... Supersplash is a Mack Watercoaster. This fun ride opened in 2003. Every S&S Tower seems weak after the one in Prater park, and Japp Spaceshot was no exception. Still a fun ride though with a very nice view from the top. The sign of quality now comes in colours It was surprisingly smooth actually. I belive the front is worse though. Corkscrew. I'll finish this update with a picture of the loop on Loopen Our first stop was Loopen, a Vekoma Tornado model from 1988. Obligatory picture of the Speedmonster poster. They have done alot of digging. This picture is taken from the escalator. Heres the escalator between the entrance and the rest of the park. Speedmonster, the new Intamin rocket coaster will go under and over the escalator several times.
  12. 1. Katun at Mirabilandia is my favorite coaster at the moment 2. I would really like to try Expedition GeForce and Goliath(Walibi World)
  13. With the exception of the brakes, I love the ending on Lisebergbanan. It has a really good airtime hill followed by a crazy helix. It has airtime and laterals at the same time entering the helix, and the middle part of it has some excellent positive G-forces I also love the final helixes on Superman la Attracion de Acero. Theres nothing like flying just a few feet from the ground at high speed. Batman la Fuga (BTR-clone) also has a fantastic ending with the flatspins and the tight turns. The 'worst-ending' award goes to Magnus Colossus. Pretty much the entire ride sucks, but at the end it goes through a HUGE helix with a very unimpressive speed.
  14. The wettest ride Ive ever been on is Niagara in Mirabilandia. Its pretty big and the splash is HUGE! The sudden stop when you hit the water is not very comfortable though. My favorite water ride is Supersplash at Tusenfryd. You get wet, but not too wet. It also has a very good drop into a tunnel that just seems way too small
  15. Balder has really nice airtime, and it has LOTS of it. Its very smooth though, it doesnt throw you hard into the lapbar like Thundercoaster does (atleast it used to do). But some of the most extreme airtime I have ever felt was on Wild Train @ Erlebnispark Strasswalchen. Wild Train @ Erlebnispark Strasswalchen. The train is flying over that hill, giving crazy ejector airtime. Especially the front seat is FANTASTIC!!!
  16. I was somewhat scared on my first ride on Thundercoaster, especially when going down the second drop. We were in the backseat so the airtime was amazing.
  17. It has a twist going down the tophat. You can see it in this picture http://www.ozcoaster.net/index.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&album=9&pos=102
  18. ^Im not sure if I would call a coaster with a 130 feet tall Pretzel-loop-thing 'little'
  19. With the exception of the "X-area", the park itself was pretty good, although it was small. But we were not impressed by the way they ran the park. The only attractions that opened when the park opened were the Terminator show and the Horrow walkthrough. The rest of the attractions opened 30-90 minutes after the park opened. About Gardaland, we didnt have much to do with the staff at Gardaland so that might have made our day better. We were treated very well by the girls at guest relations who took care of our bags while we enjoyed the park. I heard that some people in our group had some problems with the staff in the park so it seems like things arent the way it should be.
  20. I cant wait to ride it next year. The pretzel-loop-thing that goes under the escalator looks amazing!
  21. Its a shame you didnt enjoy your day at Gardaland because I thought it was a fantastic park. The coasters were very average, but the theming and atmosphere made it a very relaxing and beatiful place. Fuga da Atlantide has some of the most amazing theming Ive ever seen. Btw, did you do the dark ride underneath the pirate ship? I thought that was the best ride in the park. Yngve "The kiddie coaster with 6 lifthills is the best coaster in the park" Oestbye
  22. Nice update! Katun is one of my favorite coasters. I havent been on alot though, 47 to be excact. Sierra Tonante on the other hand.... damn that was horrible. No airtime and not excactly smooth.
