  1. A quick Google search gave me this http://www.hummerstyle.com/humdinger.htm But here you can find what the word means http://www.answers.com/topic/humdinger
  2. Wild Train @ Erlebnispark Strasswalchen. Well, its not really underrated, its just that not much people talk about it and I can understand why as its in the middle of nowhere in Austria. But that ride is fantastic! Wild turns and insane ejector airtime. You will get bruised if you ride it a couple of times, but its absolutely worth it. Megablitz @ Prater park was also very good. It may be built by Vekoma 11 years ago, but its really smooth and those helixes pulls some serious G-forces.' I also think that the classic Schwarzkopf Looping Star's are underrated. Smooth, powerful ride with only a lapbar above your legs.
  3. I guess I have to make sure its raining before I go back to Tusenfryd next year then But will that cause Speedmonster to close?? It would be great to have two coasters running great at once...
  4. If Thundercoaster is running as slow next year as it was in September this year, Speedmonster will unfortunately be the only ride there worth queueing for
  5. When I was 10 I was hit by a truck. I still have a scare in my forehead.
  6. I rode Tizona when it was only a few months old and I really liked it. This year I rode Blue Tornado @ Gardaland, which wasnt too bad except the rolling parts. The extra helix was really smooth
  7. Wild Train @ Erlebnispark Strasswalchen. Wild laterals, headchoppers and some of the craziest ejector airtime EVER!!! What more could ya want?
  8. I have a feeling that the train is going to fly over those hills as they are alot smaller than the pretzel loop and its only 3 cars per train
  9. Heres a couple of more pics from Tusenfryd
  10. That coaster looks terrible undersupported
  11. Slammer @ Thorpe park was awesome. I also really like KMG Afterburners (24 seat version) if its running a good program. Eyerly Rock-o-Plane's are also quite awesome, but they can also be very uncomfortable.
  12. Kanonen only has 4 cars per train and according to some people who have been on all the Intamin rocket coasters, it has the most powerful launch of all of them
  13. Wow that looks freakin fantastic!!! Thanks for the pics!!
  14. Actually they will now have 1 fantastic ride next year. Thundercoaster was fantastic when it opened, but when I rode it 2 months ago it was just 'alright'. It wasnt as rough as I thought it would be, but it just lost so much speed. I guess its because of the shuffling back and forth. It used to have lots of ejector airtime, but now it was mostly floater airtime. Very dissappointing because it was a truly great coaster a few years ago
  15. Drachen Fire??
  16. This is NOT a small coaster! Maybe for a CF or SF park, but for Tusenfryd this is a major investment, the largest in the parks history. They didnt go with a smaller rocket because it would be "better", they did it because thats what they had the space and money to do.
  17. Liseberg is a well-known park that draws alot of people from far away. Tusenfryd on the other hand doesnt have the same amount of great rides, and most of the people who visits Tusenfryd are local. And with Thundercoaster getting rougher and slower over the years, I guess people dont feel the same need to go back. Im sure that will change next year though Heres some more pics from Tusenfryd btw http://www.nojespark.net/tusspeedmonstercon/index.php
  18. I must say I find it interesting that Intamin opens a launched looping rollercoaster in 2005 with no headrests and lapbars only. It doesnt make any sense with the OTSR popping up on the non-looping coasters they build.
  19. All I can say about this ride is "HOLY CRAP is it April yet??"
  20. I just cant belive how awesome this coaster looks. Finally we will get a good coaster in Norway again. Thundercoaster was awesome the first seasons, but now its just 'meh'. But with Speedmonster I now have a reason to visit Tusenfryd again next year
  21. I know I have seen a fairly good onride video of Steel Dragon 2000 taken from one of the middle cars. The quality was quite good. It was on a site with many onride videos of Japanese coasters aswell as some coasters from CP. But I have lost the link Heres a few coasters I would like to see onride videos of: Desperado Magnum XL-200 (I have only found crappy versions) Anaconda @ PKD Raging Bull Cyclops Dominator Mr Freeze Batman - The Dark Knight Iron Wolf
  22. As far as I know, GG is the only company at the moment building woodies with steel structures. CCI also used steel structure on quite a few woodies.
  23. Ive visited Tusenfryd 6 times in my life. Once every year the last 4 years.
  24. Hopefully Even wont kill me for posting this link but you just have to see this. It looks AMAZING!!!! http://home.online.no/~evstange/100_4025b.jpg
  25. Drop-towers always makes me a bit nervous, and I still havent ridden anything taller than 200ft. I was also quite nervous before riding some of S&S' newest rides this summer like Slammer @ Thorpe and Sequoia Adventure @ Gardaland.
