  1. FOOTBALL! Real football, where you actually kick the ball with your foot instead of running with it in your arms!
  2. So many great contributions to choose from... 1. Athiest Encounter, niiicolaaah 2. Wally's Blashphemy Blasters, gunslinger 3. Blasphemia The Ride, Redunzelizer Btw, I think you forgot to add my "Bench; The Ride" to the list on page 1
  3. I wouldnt worry too much. These people definately seems to know what theyre doing. Yngve "what fun is a wooden coaster if it doesn throw you around a bit??" Oestbye
  4. Yes I agree. I have no idea how many coasters I have downloaded and ridden in the 4 years Ive had No Limits, and almost all the large coasters are getting boring rather quickly. There are a few exceptions, but smaller coasters are usually alot more fun to build and ride in NL. I wont do any "requests", because Im sure that whatever the NL team does next Im sure it will be fantastic Yngve "Best $30 Ive ever spent" Oestbye
  5. Scandinavian. Norwegian to be excact!
  6. ^Those are 'fake sunlight' machines to make the grass grow faster
  7. ^^A few of the sides has brakes that stops the cars after falling only a few meters. Then they are realesed again and drop all the way to the bottom. Apparently it makes the ride REALLY scary!
  8. I have spent the last week in Newcastle with my class, and a part of our program was a backstage tour of St.James Park, which is where Newcastle United Football Club plays their home games. The stadium was insane compared to those we have here in Norway, with a capacity of 52000. Im not a fan of Newcastle at all (Go Blackburn Rovers ) but this was definately the highlight of the trip to me as I had never been on any really big stadiums before. Just to show what kinda stadiums Im used to, heres a picture of Brann stadion in Bergen with a capacity of 17600 (it will be more this season) One last picture looking up from the sideline. It would have been awesome to see Newcastle-Tottenham while we were there, but it was all sold out a long time ago. Looking up at the massive stadium! Wheres all the people??? We were told that the roof is 85 meters tall. Thats only 10 meters (about 30ft) shorter than Milllenium Force!!! Time to head out the tunnel! Alan Shearer's shirt was there too Me with Michael Owen's shirt! Here we are in Newcastle's changing room! 'Players and officials only'. Sounds like a cool place to go! Yeah this is awesome!! Bob explaining stuff.. Its a looooooooong way down... I wouldnt want to be the electrician working on those speakers. ..we were going all the way up to the very last row!!! There was even a great view of the city! And as if that wasnt enough... Everyone was amazed by the size of this stadium! The roof was amazing! It looks like theres pretty much nothing holding it up! Theres a nice view from level 7! Heres the view from one of the many lounges on the way up. Yeah this is awesome and in a little while we will be all the way up on level 7 behind me! Here I am in 'my' VIP seat Heres Bob, our tour guide (he was also the chairman's driver and drove a Range Rover with tires that probably costs more than my car). Check out the uber-comfortable seats! It was REALLY MASSIVE!!! HOLY CRAP!!!! This is what you see as you enter the stadium through the VIP gate. And when you look left... This picture is taken inside the museum. Look how awesome that stadium looks from above. They even had a parking garage inside the massive structure. Getting closer.. Here you can see the stadium towering over the houses. It could be seen from most places in the city centre.
  9. I think this one beats 'Screw Coaster' http://www.rcdb.com/id1808.htm Jet Screw Coaster
  10. Two days ago I rode New Rollercoaster in New Metroland, which is located in Europe's largest shopping mall called *drumroll* Metrocentre. Its just across the river from Newcastle.
  11. Thundercoaster @ Tusenfryd hasnt aged very well. The roughness isnt painfull at all, but it causes the train to loose alot of speed because of the increased friction caused by the shuffling.
  12. I thought Stunt Fall was very smooth when I rode it back in 2003. Unfortunately I only got one ride on it. I was there with a friend and his parents and we were suddenly leaving and I hadnt ridden Stunt Fall yet because I was really nervous about it. Wish I could have ridden it more because I cant really remember much of what the ride was like.
  13. I have a trainset with 2 Norwegian locomotives, a few passenger cars and a few cargo cars. I dont have space for it at the moment, but hopefully I'll be able to build some terrain and stuff around it sometime in the future. This is not my locomotive, but it looks excactly the same like one of the two I have. I think it looks awesome http://www.modelltog.com/images/IMG_0818.jpg Heres a picture of the real thing http://www.jernbane.net/script/bilde.asp?img=../norge/el/el16/el162201_2.jpg
  14. I think the good handheld onride videos are better than the one with the lipstick camera because you get a better feeling of what the coaster is like IMO. The POV of Goliath @ Walibi world is a perfect example.
  15. Thanks for sharing all these pictures. I always think its exciting to see what rides that appears when a fair comes to town.
  16. Yeah seems fake. The mouse coaster looks like an Arrow, and the parks website doesnt work.
  17. The Disk'O is powered all the way, while the halfpipe coasters are launched up the towers so I agree with ncf.
  18. S&S towers probably uses gravity to help slow the cars down when they are going up, but the speed is definately controlled. Its mostly noticable on the "downward launch" towers. After a short acceleration burst at the top, the cars move with constant speed downwards until it starts slowing down, unlike the Intamin and Fabbri towers (which are far more exciting) that just keeps accelerating all the way until they hit the brakes at the bottom. Yngve "S&S towers are like fast observation towers" Oestbye
  19. Looking good! I really like the layout on the wooden coaster, looks very realistic. Keep up the good work!
  20. Trim brakes doesnt always mean a huge decrease in speed. Superman la Attracion de Acero in WBMW Madrid has 2 trim brakes, but they doesnt affect the speed at all. Lets hope its the same case with this coaster...
  21. Thats awesome! I had a venus fly trap not too long ago, but it died because some idiot forgot to give it water... Edit: Found the topic with the pictures of it http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18298
  22. The station for the woodie looks fantastic! The only thing I would change are the windows, which looks a bit too large, but apart from that it looks great! If there were only some way to get rid of those ugly entrance and exit buildings..... I would also change the train style to 3-bench cars. I just think they look much better on out-n back layouts.
  23. Closest coaster: Svalbard Ekspressen @ Kongeparken, a Vekoma family coaster 4-5 hours south from where I live. Then theres Tusenfryd which is 8-9 hours away. Yes, it does suck ALOT some times but atleast it makes me appriciate every single ride I get on a coaster (well, almost) Yngve "would be the happiest person on the planet if he had a good coaster only 2 hours from where he lived " Oestbye
  24. Outside dark ride?? Where in the park was it located??
