  1. Thundercoaster is definately not smooth, comfortable and loaded with airtime. It used to be good, but now its rough and slow compared to what it once was. Alot of the ejector air is now gone. Its still a good ride, but no where close to what it used to be a few years ago. They need to get rid of the Vekoma trains as it wasnt designed for those!
  2. I read that they are doing the same with the Vekoma Swinging Turns coaster in Bobbejaanland (I think it was in the latest First Drop magazine). Btw, that picture of the Pepsi Max Big One is just awesome! The drop just looks so wrong for some reason...
  3. Batman la Fuga is without a doubt the most intense B&M I have ever ridden. The others doesnt come anywhere close to it when it comes to extreme G-forces and non-stop action. The other rides I have to compare it to are: Katun Nemesis Inferno Superman la Attracion de Acero Batman is probably my favorite of those coasters
  4. Damn! It better be working next weekend!!! How was the lines??
  5. The ride was designed to run 3 cars per train. It has been like that since the ride was advertised last year. You might be thinking about Kanonen at Liseberg. That ride has 4 cars per train.
  6. Wow that is big! Should be a fun ride!
  7. I think this goes for everyone. No matter where people are, they are always saying that everyone else gets better coasters. I can understand ncf's frustration. Like him, I also have to travel hundreds of miles to ride a rollercoaster, and listening to people complaining can be extremely annoying sometimes. But I dont think that Americans are much worse than others...
  8. ^Oh yeah! It took me 3 visits to Tusenfryd to ride that thing!
  9. Yesterday was just media day. Opening day is tomorrow!
  10. Heres a couple of more of my favorites... First drop on Katun! Katun's last corkscrew! Most beatiful ride ever! Great looking Vekoma loop! The Starflyer @ Wiener Prater The blur makes it look like the train is going really fast (it was too actually) You just gotta love those Schwarzkopf loops!
  11. Justin Garvanovic says the ride is smooth so I choose to belive him.
  12. Ah, its great to see more Norwegian members here. It can feel a bit lonely sometimes. I thought there were only me, ncf and nosferatu here
  13. I havent ridden any giant frisbees ever, but they might not be worse as they spin alot slower than the regular frisbee rides.
  14. I was really pleased with this one Katun heading down its awesome first drop!!
  15. Speedmonster was just on tv here in Norway, complete with the Intamin screeching sound. But the ride looks amazing anyway!!!
  16. Finnish? Where did you get that from? The ride is in Norway, and the guy in the video is Norwegian. Finnish is totally different...
  17. Damn thats alot of people there. Looks like more people know about the park now. When I was there in July 2003, on a friday, every ride was walk-on except Wild Wild West. But its definately good for the park because I was slightly worried if it would make it if it was always like this. Yngve "wants to go back to Parque Warner" Oestbye
  18. What about Horror Express @ Kumdoriland? Does anyone have any pictures of that ride? http://www.rcdb.com/id1396.htm
  19. One of the most intense rides in the country?? That is just stupid, the S&S Screamin Swings arent intense at all. Very gentle rides in my opinion.
  20. I thought Slammer @ Thorpe Park was awesome. One of very few rides where I was actually nervous before the ride started. It wasnt bad at all actually. A bit uncomfortable for your back, but the sensation you get going over the top is amazing. I had high hopes for Rush, but I thought it was a very gentle ride. It didnt have the powerful swings that you get on a KMG Afterburner, even though the Screamin Swings goes higher.
  21. Justin Garvanovic says that Speedmonster is one of the top 5 coasters in Europe and one of the top 10 coasters in the world in his opinion. I cant say anything until I have ridden it, but I dont doubt what he says as he has ridden loads of coasters all over the world. Its fantastic to hear that we have gotten something so great here in Norway, and we truly deserve it. It is afterall the first big steel coaster ever to be built in this country. Yngve "wishes it was a bit closer than 300 miles away" Oestbye
  22. NL is probably the greatest $30 Ive ever spent. I bought it 4 years ago and Im still using it alot. In my opinion I have gotten a great game very cheap considering all the free updates Ole has given us.
  23. ^Theres actually 3 cars per train.
  24. You get 'these kind of coasters' overthere. Have you totally forgotten about Storm Runner?? And Rita and Stealth isnt any more original than TTD, KK and Xcellerator.
