  1. Sounds like it would have been alot easier to install lapbars on the damn thing like its supposed to have! Yngve "but we all know that wont happen" Oestbye
  2. I think Wiener Prater has an awesome skyline
  3. LOL that was awesome!
  4. Your rides and building looks pretty good, but the park is a bit too flat for my taste. Still not bad though.
  5. Its a fairly new element, but I find heartline rolls to be rather uninteresting and slightly uncomfortable. Arrow/Vekoma corkscrews arent very interesting either, but old-school B&M wingovers are awesome. Those on Batman la Fuga were taken so fast it was amazing. I loved it!
  6. I have lots of pictures from the following parks: Liseberg Tusenfryd Vidampark Wiener Prater Erlebnispark Strasswalchen Gardaland Mirabilandia Let me know if youre interested in any of these, either by sending me a mail or a PM.
  7. Its probably just the angle because the hill on Stealth looks pretty similar in this pic http://www.rcdb.com/ig3081.htm?picture=13
  8. I think its looks awesome with the track being nearly invisible in the middle of the lake. It looks like a very fun ride, even though its not very tall or very fast.
  9. I agree. I dont see any reasons why it puts more stress on the track and supports than a normal 50-60 mph woodie. I cant see it being done in near future though, as parks seems to wanting a more traditional ride when building wooden coasters. But it can definately be done!
  10. I had a weird dream a year or two ago. I was at Holiday Park to ride Expedition GeForce. When we arrived, they were testing it but it only had 2 or 3 cars per train (cant remember). And when the train crested the top of the lifthill it went straight down instead of diving to the right and it crashed into the ground. A giant bell also fell of the ride and trapped one of my friends inside(!!!) Then I spent forever in the indoor waterpark waiting for the ride to open. Im not sure if I would call it a waterpark though, as it was only a small room with a few inches of water on the floor. Anyway, EGF finally opened again and just as the station gates opened in front of me I woke up.
  11. They could do the launch on steel tracks, like the loop on SoB.
  12. There was an article about S&S Power in First Drop magazine a few years ago which mentioned something about the possibility of a launched wooden coaster.
  13. Why would LIM's be impossible on a woodie? Of course they would have to redesign the trains, but they would have to do that with a hydraulic launch too...
  14. The steel coaster in the latest pics would look better if you banked the first drop
  15. I usually eat when Im at an amusement park (Vidampark being an exceptation) because I get sick easier if Im hungry. And if I get sick I dont feel like eating and I will get even more hungry. But I never eat alot because riding coasters with a full stomach isnt fun either.
  16. Im not sure who invented the term 'Rocket coaster' but on RCDB and Intamins website they are all listed as 'Accelerator' coasters. Speedmonster is using the same hydraulic launch system as coasters like Xcellerator, Storm Runner, TTD, etc...
  17. Im not sure if an Intamin megacoaster is suitable for families with young kids
  18. That one was quite good! Looks like a fantastic ride! Cant wait to ride it in April!
  19. I really like Katun's colours. Dark blue, almost black, spine with grey/rusty rails. I also think Nemesis Inferno looks great.
  20. Im a Amacosteur, having ridden 47 coasters at the moment.
  21. The coasters looks very good, but the trees doesnt. The tree placement makes it look unrealistic and blocky. But with better scenery it would look great.
  22. Robb I demand that you upload the full POV of EGF NOW!! Ok just kidding, but it would be nice if you did! Nice video anyway. Hopefully I can get down to Germany someday and ride this fantastic looking coaster myself
  23. Awww its such a shame to see Viper being scrapped. Schwarzkopf Looping Stars are excellent rides and it would be perfect for a smaller park. I also thought that Schwarzkopf coasters were fairly easy to move. But I guess that the park doesnt have any alternatives if there are no buyers...
  24. Yeah that was hilarious! Anyway, did anyone see the freestyle jumper who lost his skis on the jump? Damn that was awesome! His skis went straight into the air while he did somersaults and other tricks. Luckily for him the snow is rather soft in the landing area on these events.
  25. Dude, atleast wait more than 13 mins before bumping your topic.
