  1. It's a screen from only the greatest GIF in all of existence. Lame fact 1: try as I might, I could not whittle down the GIF to a filesize sufficiently small for my avatar. 'S'ok, since I prefer static images anyway. Uninteresting tidbit 2: I keep doing a double take when I see my posts now.
  2. Be sure to check out any Cedar Fair parks of interest for their Presidents Day Weekend sale. This one gets you one admission plus Fast Lane (CGA's only level), any day from March 24-September 9, for $64.99 total, and others I've seen are similar. Seems like a no-brainer for anyone seeking single-day tickets! Personally, I think I'll shoot for a weekend trip to CGA and SCBB in May!
  3. I just have trouble keeping track of this generation of heavily themed, often-automotive trains a la several recent RMCs + at least one GCI. I think I like them all, but it's hard to get excited about any particular one.
  4. Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster
  5. Yes. Can you drive a manual transmission?
  6. Those first two photos really brought the layout to life for me (I've never ridden this exact model before), and it looks fantastic. I'm pretty much pleased with everything about this project so far.
  7. Well, there's a first time for everything. Today marks the first time I've set the background on this computer. (And unlike some of you I'm sure, I didn't set it to the lift motor and stuff assembly.)
  8. Wow, what a choice! I really, really like the name and logo (including its colors). Both Oregon- and coaster-appropriate! Cool to see Adrenaline in a coaster name (according to RCDB there's only one other example, in Bulgaria). And more creative than something like "Adrenaline Rush." All in all, very fresh and clever. I guess I'll give them a pass for being silent on social media about the construction--it seems like they were just waiting on this announcement. Fair enough.
  9. I'm going to assume today, because I do that every day. [restrains self] When was the last time you found out about a coaster you were surprised you hadn't heard of before?
  10. ^Coincidentally, there's been radio silence on social media from another park that's adding a Eurofighter. Want sexy pictures of Oaks Park's (now-complete) new Gerstlauer machine? Be prepared to do some digging. [/rant]
  11. Well, how else would the lemons get clean? Obviously you clean lemons with lemons. Why was it decided that receiving lemons is an undesirable part of life?
  12. Um, hello, it's a horse that lives in the sea. Duh! What kind of cheese is the moon made of?
  13. 13/10, very good Otter Pops?
  14. The more I think about it, the more I'd really like to know why they went with that color scheme. Especially after seeing this (from this thread):
  15. This. At least it's not something that lowers my IQ every time I type it, like CraZanity or (I am about to be officially dumb) Blue Hawk. Also, this is the second time today that Six Flags news had me checking to make sure I hadn't time traveled to April 1st. (Not sure why I was surprised that SFMM is really adding trims to Green Lantern...)
  16. Google has a history of falsely showing businesses/attractions as "permanently closed." I don't think they have options for situations like temporarily closed or closed for the season. That's happened to Enchanted Forest, an operating park, more than once in its off-season. It's happened with Lightning Rod, too.
  17. Seriously, can this ride stop being so stunning. Also, have to hand it to Six Flags marketing:
  18. Along with being amusingly tiny, that Zierer Force Zero looks like a badly smushed version of the new Eurofighter at Oaks Amusement Park. What's making that color scheme so popular right now?
  19. That's a great shot of the layout. Some nice-looking curves that coaster has.
  20. That is one bad-a$$ dragon.
  21. Great additions. A Tilt-a-Whirl and Scrambler really should still be mandatory at every park, and I'm glad to see a park add a Yo-Yo--properly run, they're more of a thrill ride than Wave Swingers.
