It's almost the same. This one have a real foundation though, and also the structure of the first tower is in a square, and not a triangle like to one in California. Regardless, i find the ride very good considering the footprint it takes up! There are rides with more that do much less -

Visually, I think that Canyon Blaster still looks more impressive because it appears to be the "bigger" coaster, so I could see why the GP would still wander over to Canyon Blaster. On the other hand, I would also argue that El Loco also looks more intimidating and its possible that could be keeping people away. Give it some time and people will come around. -

Nice! Its to bad it brakes right after half loop. But it looks to definatrly be a hit -
Trust me, I think this is pretty much a quick scheme to get to twenty. Other than that it has no point. Honestly, does any one really find 20 coasters an appealing tag line when half of those are actually coasters designed for children? I think sfmm just builds coasters at this point out of laziness. They really dont know what else to build.

I REALLY hope this ride tops the list as one of the best coasters in the world. Such a solid mix of different ride elements: air time, directional change, inversions, you name it. It's also got a solid ride length to boot. I don't see how this ride could disappoint! -
Its prettyy impressive that CCI still has 2 coasters in the top 20 after all these years. If more CCI's got some topper track like Tremors I could see a couple more potentially rising back to the top (boss, ghost rider, legend?) I think aside from Phoenix, the rest are all relatively new and modern.

I'm interested to see what those 2015 plans are. If it includes something epic enough, I may have to return. Couple that with the GIB credit I wasn't able to get. Also, hope that dude who assaulted the scare actor got what was coming to him. Maybe if he had been cooperative and apologetic, he would have gotten off. Injuries don't lie. -
What type of enthusiast are you?
Gnome replied to arby's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm probably a mix between creator and designer. I'm really interested in the design aspect from everything including the technology and engineering to the track layout itself. On top of that, I'm really big into presentation of the ride itself. I don't necessarily need intricate facade and themed story details (though preferred), but great landscaping and area interaction is expected in order for the ride to catch my attention. With that said, I completely lack all the obnoxious behaviors mentioned. I think the only thing I'll say is "It's TWISSSSTYYYYYY!" (if the ride warrants it) as an homage to Robb's video commentary. -

^ As exciting as it would have been to get a bigger score, Im grateful for a more modest amount. i'd have no idea what to do with all that! -

Found something in the mail. Some really interesting things to go through and Im really appreciative of the "care package." Thanks to the Alvey's and everyone else at TPR! Nothing says SWAG like a bright red swag bag with Bold theme park review branding. I now dub thee the TPR bag-o-swag Continuing the trend of items relevant to every day life, Robb knew my roommate was a professional MMA fighter and gave him some Swag to help with his recovery after training sessions One of the most exciting items, i received volume 7 of raw hardcore coaster action. Things might get messy Maps featuring my former employer. God is he attractive! Some brochures from various parks around China and Japan. Very nice! Obviously Robb knows Im no stranger to rain being as i reside in the PNW. He was gracious to provide me some protection from the elements. Also threw in some stickers, a pin, magnet, and.... Mystery DVD? Innnteresting.... A collection of brochures from parks I have yet to have visited, but are high on the list Islands of adventure, meet Adventure Island I got a surprise packet in the mail today. Could it be the mythical bag o crap? It appears so! -

Maybe in the future they can have Robb record thousands of lines and depending on the element, it can generate a pre-recorded commentary. I mean the Sports games can do it for their commentary, so why not NL? -
What should be the next Six Flags clone?
Gnome replied to Woodie Warrior's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Just clone anything awesome and Intaminy and I personally would be sold. -
For a wild mouse, I found coast rider wildly dull. Braked to all hell which is disappointing. I recall the one at Legoland to be much better and for sure Goofy's sky school is significantly better. Did I mention its braked all to hell!?
