What more could you want from the park anyways? A bad ass intamin woodie, a decent rocket coaster, and what looks to be like a bad ass looper, and then the famed lisebergbanan, i feel my day would be easily spent amongst the 4. These four blow SFMM's 19 out of the water imo, and Im sure the park development wont go stagnant while they develop the hotel. That would be over 10 years which would likely be unsustainable without any new attractions for the park. -
So we can preserve the killer whales and just let them sit in their enclosed space with no interaction at all. Honestly from watching Black Fish I didnt see any part of it that said the whales were unhappy performing. If anything its beneficial for them because it keeps them stimulated and excercised. The only thing that black fish brought up, which has been disputed quite significantly, that I thought was a red flag was SW's management practice of treating whales soley as assets and not creatures. And again that view point has been disputed. Personally I think if we let the whales die off and discontinue the shows, I give it a generation for people to stop giving a shit about the animals. The only reason why we care now is because we can have that interaction. A lot of this black fish rhetoric comes across, to me, as more key board activism. A bunch of people who think they're making the world a better place by the click of a button.

What do you want to see in your home park in 2015?

Im still very against the idea of a giga at knotts. A hyper would serve the park better, imo -
Now when hotel guests ask where the nearest starbucks is, they can direct them there instead of the corner of harbor and ball! Lol I think there was one at the hilton too. The addition of one in DcA made it easier but this will definately benefit all guests and it really shouldnt have taken this long.

If we judge by that then Arrow discredits themselves by the disaster that became X. Maybe we can quantify success by profit margins instead of innovative progress or critical acclaim? If thats the case, Id be curious to see what the spreadsheets would show for B&M, Intamin, and GCi whom are probably the most active manufacturers. Guerstlaur may be on that list as well. They always pump out a couple of rides per year

Talon is a great coaster, but I actually think Hydra is getting really rough for a B&M. I still ride it multiple times whenever I go to the park but this ride isn't really up to B&M's standards of smoothness. I'd go so far as to say it's the roughest B&M I've ridden besides the standups. Much of the "smoothness" on b&ms really depend on the maintenance of the train. silver bullet will go through cycles of having a strong and noticeable rattle to being butter smooth. Likewise you find rides like scream which have that rattle no matter when you ride. This is based on my own observations though -

I don't know how I forgot about this new Morgan hyper, but I need to remind myself to check this page regularly. Very interested to see how this stacks up against todays other modern coasters. -
Airtime or Forcefulness?

I don't think its one or the other. Consider KFC's secret blend of herbs AND spices. If it was just herbs or just spices, would it be as enjoyable? The best coasters in the world have a great blend of positive and negative g forces plenty of directional shifts and sensory overload. The key to anything great is diversification! Use it in your investment portfolio and your coaster designs! -

I'd hate to burst your bubble but inflation isn't anything new. And I agree with the others, the 10 day non expiring park pass is probably your best bet outside of working for the company itself. -

While I've haven't been on Iron Dragon, I'd have to say based off the 2 I have been on, Big Bad Wolf was leagues better then Ninja at SFMM. Obviously BBW is gone now so as far as I'm concerned the best is already gone. That final drop really did it for me. From what I've been told by others, Ninja is generally regarded as better then Iron Dragon. If they removed the ride, I personally wouldn't lose sleep over missing the credit. But I can't vouch for everyone. -
Adventure City getting new coaster for 2013?

Really impressive actually! It will be a fun ride to see along Beach Blvd. -
What a shitty attitude to have. I simply don't "get" the hate from the NL2 people over this game. In a genre when there are practically ZERO options, you guys should be happy as hell to have TWO games in development that look like they will be supported from here on out by the developers and the community. Think about it. That's like being a roller coaster fan and there only being ONE roller coaster in the world and then people being pissed off because someone decided to build a second one. The negativity over there actually being another amusement park game besides No Limits is just so incredibly dumb I can't even fully put it into words. Anyone who is a theme park sim fan should be ecstatic over the release of Theme Park Studio, regardless if you're a No LImits fan or not. For me, it's because the NL community has spent so many years trying to nail the realism in "train movement," the precision and everything else associated with it, that honestly anything that isn't 100% accurate is hard to enjoy. Its part of the reason the community has gone through great lengths to develop tools that allow users to create rides through force vector design so they can achieve that look and feel. I think by all counts, Theme Park Studio look great! A HUGE step up from the likes of its predecessors. I was merely expressing my disappointment, more in myself, that I don't think I would be able to allow myself to enjoy it like I would like to for the aforementioned reasons. But like I said, the program looks really solid, and I think it will have more mass appeal then NL. And most importantly, its great that the 2 programs that are available are so distinguished from one another that the consumer has options.

I really enjoyed the seats on Manta at SWSD. I'd only imagine what taking inversions with those seats could be like. -
I was thinking the exact same thing. I wonder what would happen if people began lining up behind him and filling up empty seats along with him. They could make a single riders line, but then you get stuck in the first available empty seat. No preferences. Obviously seems like the most fair route to go, imo.

Im surprised nobody mentioned the pretzle loop on Tatsu. You're hauling through that thing at the bottom
