  1. I'm glad you had a good time, the weather was pretty bad that day,it was REALLY slow at my job where we usually get slammed. I guess you didn't stay too late there to see the Glow in the dark parade?
  2. I was close with the car. only a year off, and i forgot the the Celica has similar interior. I'm kinda disappointed in myself that i didn't get that.
  3. Dude, That is soo awsome, that you have a Bulbasaur in your Toyota Corolla.. 2003? And those are some really nice pics of Pittsburgh, I'm looking to go sometime soon. Also, seriously, how could you skip Talon: The Grip of Fear...
  4. Cause it's a legal thing. Drive Thru is technically a "road" so if they serve you at the window and you get injured, it's their fault. I do work at fast food, and it's a good rule, you'd be surprised how fast people drive up, and honestly, would YOU expect to see someone standing there? Since most drive thrus have a turn before the window, it's kind of a sudden thing. And for Cosmic hearse, I'm not sure which parks you're used to going to, so I can't tell you how it is comparatively, But especially now that it's summer, expect hour long waits for just about everything. It's also heard to "beat" the crowds since they don't seem to open rides on time. I'm not sure if they still do that, but the past few times i've been there the rides that people don't usually head to first are closed until about 12pm. Something to keep in mind.. although El Toro looks oh so great, if you go to that side of the park right when you get there, go on Rolling Thunder first to get that over with. The ride ops are EXTREMELY slow, even if the queue is in the station, it will still be a 20 minute wait
  5. I naturally shake a lot, like I can't keep my hands completely still, roller coasters generally make me... not shake, I become more calm i guess. Or if by trembling you mean.. just can't walk straight.. Fairly Odd Coaster at Nickelodeon Universe.. because i rode it directly after riding that Avatar ride... so... too much spinning.
  6. I gotta completely agree with you there. That managed to be my least favorite coaster at BGE, I expected it to be Nitro quality... as in... floater airtime but nothing really spectacular. There was NOTHING at all besides one hill (if you sit in the back). So if you want a somewhat enjoyable ride.. sit in the back
  7. So, according to this ultra-reliable book I read, This "accident" is REALLY a cover up for a zombie infestation. If you ever hear about someone getting shot in the head or decapitated, it could possible be a zombie infestation cover up story... I'm also holding out opinion on this, naturally, i'm against the kid for being stupid, but what if, now this is a big if.. he had a legitimate reason for going there? This is also assuming that this isn't a cover up story
  8. I agree, Lucky with the Jr. Gemini credit! But i've gotten man enough to ask kids if i can ride with them now, so next time i visit CP i'm sure i'll get on it. 100+ credits in the summer though, that's quite a feat, well you are doing that trip, the most i've gotten in one year was about 50
  9. I'd say the best way to describe it now.. is that it's like a wooden coaster now. It's still rough, but with the new restraints, there is ZERO pain and VERY fun. It's hard to compare it though to other restraints. I guess it is most similar to B&M flyer types, but B&M flyers are VERY snug, while these are kind of just.. there, you don't notice it too much, the restraints feel more like, you're wearing a backpack, except of course no pressure to hurt your shoulders. Hope this helps Very good improvement, You can see open and closed restraint.
  10. I have to agree with you, Great Nor Easter is an amazing ride now with those restraints. It is EASILY better than a lot of B&M inverts i've been on. I've glad to have others that agree with this and hopefully, the rave reviews of these new trains could get other parks to perhaps adopt these new trains also? P.S. I think i might have seen you at the opening of Dark Knight at Gadv. I was that guy with the BDK at SFNE shirt.
  11. I've gotten stuck on two coasters. First one; Robin: The Chiller, Didn't get back to the station, and i didn't notice for awhile because i was too mad about the rolls being gone. Then i realized... hey... we're stopped.. and got to walk along the launch track. The 2nd, Dragon at Bowcraft Amusement park. The 2nd lift didn't work so we valleyed. That was my first time on the ride and all i could think is "Does this count!? did i ride it!?"
  12. So you HAVEN"T been on it before the trims? Because i rode it last year and LOVED J2. Did you go with anyone who's been on it before if it makes it that much worse? It was rough last year, But like... fun rough not painful and just very "out of control" type of ride. 33 is a bit much for the park, I think I paid less than 20 last year, probably because I had coupons.
  13. Excalibur at Valleyfair! Short but SWEET! I'd still say most underrated coaster in Minnesota...
  14. Well I'm hoping that now you know the rules that you become a safer driver, for example, I'm assuming there was someone else in the car, he or she could have answered the text for you. Also, your driving habits should not reflect your "chances of getting pulled over" but rather how to get to your next amusement park as safely as possible. - Happy Coastin
  15. I almost 100% agree with you on that, but GASM i feel is way better in the back. I'll also add that I personally like S:UF more in the back, I wish i could ay that you need to ride a flat ride or two, but unforntunately, there really aren't any. Also, a major tip, don't bring anything that could be a "loose article" into the park, either you have to pay a dollar for each ride you go on, or get harassed by the ride ops for not putting it in a locker (fortunately i've never been yelled at, but I hear it alot, especially on S:UF)
  16. Dude, That's not cool. You look like a little kid, and even if you are an adult you shouldn't be breaking rules (Theme Park Review is strongly for not breaking rules) I.E. speeding and using a cell phone while driving (both of which cops can and will pull you over for. I'm sorry for this being the first thing for me to say, but I can't stand when kids think they're so cool and exploit how bad of a driver they are. I also can't understand how you think this management is doing better. This is by FAR the worst year i've ever gone to great adventure. Sure they've been doing some things "better" but they are so strict about the locker policy and all i hear are ride operators yelling at people for trying to leave their cell phones with non-riders. The park has manifested itself into almost the "advertising capital of the world". I guess since you haven't been to the park, it might be fun, but until this year, i have never been unenthusiastic about going to SFGADv. Sorry for my rant.
  17. The entire list of "New For 08" at Six Flags Parks. Sfgadv = indoor mouse because you know.. half of the New Jersey parks and major competitors (Dorney and Hershey) don't already have one. Oh and Great dventure already has that "In the dark" coaster SFGam = Don't they already have a mouse.. now they have one that doesn't spin SFNE = Same thing... It's sad when the signs advertising dark knight uses track from Pandemonium SFOG = kids area that wasn't popular at GAdv.... SFStL = It's a decent option but.. Name? SFFT - just..why... I don't know what confuses me more.. the name.. or the ride.
  18. Jeepers! the three in the Detroit area.. This coming weekend.
  19. #1 Great American Scream Machine #2 Magnum XL 200 #3 Anaconda #4 Gemini ( I haven't been on too many arrows...)
  20. Trying not to get off topic but... Prater Park has the most coasters to be dismantled. The "kiss of death spider" is just that inflatable spider that can be found at a lot of Six Flags parks, most notably SFMM has one that is usually attatched to Collosos. Well, The chiller deconstruction is moving pretty slowly, the electrical parts look barely even touched, it's just all disconnected and lying around. I have photos from 3 days ago, but i won't be able to put it up until i fix my computer
  21. A big sign as to why i don't like the new Six Flags, GAdv doesn't have a gotham city, it's called "Movietown" and it used to be... related to movies and not just all about Batman.
  22. Just at Gadv today. Update.. More of the cobra roll is gone, the LIMs have been "unplugged" You will probably see pics of that later. Also, the air gates are now removed. Oh and the stairs to Robin's cobra roll are removed and still assembled but placed inside Water Effect.
  23. The Villain @ Six Flags Ohio Batman & Robin: The Chiller Medusa Great American Scream Machine (sfgadv) Nitro (2x) Kingda Ka Talon Hypersonic XLC Volcano Crazy Mouse at Steel pier Millennium Force Top Thrill Dragster
  24. I'm very confused. Will this be a roler coaster? If it's one of those Mack-Euro-mir type rides. Won't it be too similar to Pandemonium? Why would they even bother with it? I know there are many differences between the two, but..why??? Hopefully it is at least another coaster to ride...
