Looks like a fun ride! Very disorienting too! Sad thing is, why must all the ZacSpins be in Europe...I hope someday a US or Canadian (unlikely) park gets one. -
That's what I'm thinking. I never bother to look at my On-Ride Photos after a ride. A lot of people do look at them, but I doubt hardly anyone buys theirs. I always buy mine if there's a funny expression or something. I just don't buy the ones from my local park anymore because I've been there too many times. But alot of the out of town people buy their's. I love buying ride photos!

Track Spottings!

So you're trying to imply that they're going to redo the ENTIRE SOB tracks into steel and put more inversions? -
Coaster "Power Colors"?
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess replied to Worra315's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'd say it's all down to the theming of the ride. Superman: Red, yellow, and blue Batman: Black and yellow Alien/sci-fi: Purple, blue, grey, yellow, green (think Nighthawk when it used to be known as BORG) Etc ~ Jess "doesn't really care that much about the colour of a track" Chan -

Ah, sky screamer is made by gravity works right? It's a standard skyscraper model? Is Thor's Hammer a standard Fabbri Kamikaze? Reminds me of that classic youtube "fat kid almost falls off rollercoaster" video. (Although it's not funny, because he could have died) -
Oh yes, the birds and the bees. We all have to learn about it one way or another. And in the queue line they should show uberly-educationaly videos to teach children that they were not picked from the cabbage patch or dropped from the sky by a stork. Birds and the bees: The ride...I like the sound of that!

Stacking is definately the result of the GP's ignorance. I think a good solution would be some sort of safety instructional video like they have in Disney rides and airplanes? Do any rides still use those videos anymore? ~ Jess "It's elementary, my dear general public people" Chan Yes...that's what I sometimes wish I could say to them when I see people like that lagging up the loading process. -
Probably the same thing tha happend to the kid who fell out ofthe Drop Tower at California' Great America? You can't really have a carnival without a Chance Zipper, can ya. What was the double floorless Kamikaze like? Does the floorless part really make that much of a difference? (i've only been on an Intamin looping starship and Chance Inverter)

Planned Trips This Summer
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess replied to Homeboy23's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
North California - California's Great America - Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Toronto - Canada's Wonderland - Marineland (maybe) Thats' all for me for this summer. -
Is Flight Deck at Kings Island experiancing loading/capacity problems like CW's Vortex is? I heard from my cousin in Toronto that Vortex has been plagued with those problems for awhile... Kasey Kahne and Jeff Gordon are my favorites too. But I don't follow NASCAR anymore either... (I have a Jeff Gordon picture on my bedroom wall though) Does dirt track racing feel anything like riding a really intense B&M? I wanna try it someday as I've always LOVED FAST THINGS! As for the nuclear power plant thing, I think you've been watching too much Simpsons!

A vekoma dueler, sounds interesting... I'm not sure about the chances of B&M attempting another dueler after Dueling Dragons. -
Everyday Objects

Ah yes, we have afew jars of Knott's jam lying around in the house. First thing it reminds me of is of course, the theme park KBF! -
Steel: Titan at SFOT Wood: Playland at the PNE Coaster. You get tossed around so much on it, and if you're sitting next to someone else you get squished (if they're heavier than you) turning a tight turn. The airtime on that thing is just out of this world! I swear, on the bunny hops at the end I could have stood up completely.

I'm with ya there, I'm having the same problem. I think it's just going too far for me. I'm researching rollercoasters day in, day out, first word that comes to mind whenever I go to google is like "coaster" or "amusement ride" etc. As for someone mentioned driving on a road, there's this hill near where I live that's got afew pops of airtime. Riddiculous as it sounds, even a "drink coaster" reminds me of them! Last few times I flew on a plane, when they said "flight attendants please prepare for takeoff/landing", I'd start laughing quietly to myself! Why? Because first, it reminds me of rollercoaster spiels... Second, the flight attendants seats look like rollercoaster seats! Don't they? ~ Jess "please prepare for takeoff" Chan -

We have afew zipline type attractions here where I live but I'd ever try... I usually just stood on the ground and watched. And walk around and see the nature of course. There's like kids younger than me who have the time of their life on those things while I just...well wimp out. I don't like my multiple phobias much... Ah, so Cobra was the first coaster in THE US to get the new trains then. I hope more any more parks start making the switch! And if anyone has pictures of the new trains on Magic Mountain, can I see?
