  1. Now I'm just thinking about how I should cut my hair short...I'm not going to cut it too short.
  2. Ok thank you for clearing that up. I thought it would be funny but just worried someone may find it annoying. ~ Jess "my apologies for the misunderstanding" Chan
  3. So does that mean no making up silly middle names each time I post? For example like: ~ Jess "insert silly name here" Chan I just did it for awhile just because i thought it would be funny but I can see how it can be annoying too.
  4. Lets see... I have a Behemoth shirt from Canada's Wonderland (2008), lots of souvineer photos from my home park Playland, on ride photo of me and my cousins on Behemoth again from Canada's Wonderland, a pair of boardshorts from Canada's Wonderland's splash works swimsuit store (bought 2 years ago), a Playland shirt from few years ago. I don't own any parts of "to be scrapped" coasters or rides which I know some people collect.
  5. I'm going to cut my hair next weekend after not cutting it short for 4 years... It's like 3/4ths the way down my back and I REALLY need to cut it lol
  6. - Stapling... Ouch. - "Rent-a-cops" like mentioned already. - Line jumpers... Not much is being done about it in my local park. - Grouchy ride ops that yell at passengers all the time. - Drinks that are too watery and popcorn that is burnt and too salty! - RIDE MALFUNCTIONS! ~ Jess "Go staple paper instead" Chan
  7. Sounds pretty cool. Semi credit still counts to me! I am quite a credit whore, so the difficult part would be (me being only 16) convincing my parents to come with me on a cruise to ride a coaster!
  8. Sorry I got confused. I was thinking of BGA!!!
  9. The themeing looks pretty amazing... I'm surprized it isn't using the new SLC trains like on Fly the Great 'nor Easter? ~ Jess "frequent flyer" Chan
  10. I'm wondering...If some park or traveling "carnival" company buys the rides, will they publicly say who theybought the rides from?
  11. Still, not as less as Vancouver. We only have a total of 4 permanent coasters! We did have a woodie at Stanley Park along time ago but it got scrapped. Wonderland does sound like a pretty cool park indeed with all those rides. ~ Jess "What happened to Vancouver" Chan
  12. I really want to try Saw the ride now after seeing all this discussion. Is it a smooth ride though? I've never ridden ANY Gerstlauer so I can't say. Neither have I tried a Screamin' Squirrel before but it looks like a very unique experiance indeed. ~ Jess "Going nuts" Chan
  13. Yes I have, I guess playland isn't unknown but I'm not sure if it fits the definition of "small".
  14. The headchopper effect right after the first drop looks abit freaky... Still, I'm lovin' the whole theming of the ride. (I'm a huge Saw fan) Isin't Saw: The Ride holding the record for the steepest drop in the world? Or is it Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit? ~ Jess "the Jigsaw killer" Chan
  15. Manta's looking "high-flyingly" awesome. I wonder what's the pre show going to be like... That definately gives me another reason to want to go to Orlando this or next year! ~ Jess "Bring on the testing" Chan
  16. I don't know if you'd consider my local "amusement park" a small park as its like the only *real* amusement park with coasters here in BC. It's called Playland and it's in Vancouver. It's an independant park meaning it's not owned by any chain like Six Flags, Busch etc. The closest thing we have to a "amusement park" is like: - Crash Crawly's (They have a laser tag and kids train ride) - Castle fun park (They have go kart track and video arcade) - Burnaby Village museum (they have a historic carousel) - Various traveling "carnie" rides - Cloverdale Rodeo (they bring in "carnie ride" there) ~ Jess "Roller coaster deprived" Chan
  17. I think I know which brakes you mean. Most likely for emergency evacuation I'd say or something like that. ~Jess "Give me a brake" Chan
  18. I believe there is also a shuttle bus that takes you from Sea World to Busch Gardens. Isn't Universal and IOA very close to each other?
  19. Indeed. It was a prototype too, so it's not going to be perfect. ~ Jess "Guinea pig" Chan
  20. Ah ok, sorry my misunderstanding. Still, it's pretty cool having this member card feature.
  21. By the way, I don't think that the number of coasters a person has ridden should be on their card because that changes quickly. Meaning someone would have to print out a new card each time they update their "credit list". Just a suggestion!
  22. I do agree with several people here, Nighthawk could indeed use a new train. I believe Vekoma's newer flying dutchman trains speed up the loading time... I don't get why flying dutchmen have such long loading times...Are the general public really that dumb? ~ Jess "It's elementary my dear Watson" Chan
  23. I'd say it's more of a yellowish-orange. But either way as MillenniumChild said, I wouldn't really care what the colours are either. I'd still ride it too. Even if the colours look abit silly, the ride will still be the same either way. ~ Jess "don't just a book by its cover" Chan.
  24. Since someone brought up the merchandise topic, I'm just wondering whether you guys should sell your own "Credit Count Books" with the TPR logo on them. Anything would be better than the current dollar store notebook I use for counting my credits right now atleast to me.
  25. Woah, that black and yellow coaster sure looks intense! That tower part kinda reminds me of Hypersonic XLC for some reason...
