I'm applying for a job this year at my local park and I'm actually kinda worried about them finding out I'm a lesbian. Not sure about if theres other gay people working there or how tolerant the staff and employers are... Well being single at hte moment (and kinda loving it too) I don't think they'll find out. I'll be fine as long as I don't go around chasing girls on the job! Don't worry about that, I plan to stay single for awhile before I start looking again or even think about looking.

That's so cool youre a ride attendant! I hope to be a ride attendant someday at my local park (i'm going to start working there this year at guest services). When I work there, I probably want to work at Corkscrew or Coaster (the two major coasters there). More likely Corkscrew because I don't think I have the strength to operate Coaster's manual station brakes...

Here's the new and improved Red Vs Blue. Both the red and blue side's got their sharpest turns banked and according to the charts, both sides have under 3 lateral G's now.

The turns aren't going to be breaking any bodies... And there won't be any blackouts either. As I've kept the positive and lateral G's on both sides under 4. Even though those turns may look sharp.

Both of them look like Arrow/Vekoma's from the track/train design. By the way, speaking of school books and coasters... I get to talk about rollercoaster designs/physics/history to 10th grade science classes for volunteer service hours in April! Going to be so fun trying ot explain that sorta stuff to the "GP"!

I was reading on Coasterbuzz (not a member there) one time and I came across a post about a really unsafe practice that is unfortunately acceptable over there. One rider's OTSR wont lock so instead of just closing that seat, they took bungee chords and tied them to the OTSR and under the train. Its the kind of bungee chords with the little hooks you use when you go camping... I can't imagine, WHAT IF you got stuck upside down (just like Demon and Turbine did) and those bungee's broke? On the other hand I saw something similar myself when I was at a theme park in Thailand. I forgot what ride this was as it was over 6-7 years ago now... But what happend was they were using ROPES to hold down the OTSR (either because of malfunction or as a backup restraint perhaps?) As soon as I saw that, I can't even think of the ropes breaking...Instead I just decided to skip that ride.

Lol I dont think I need to as its not even that popular a ride. I only got a full load once on the blue side. And the whole ride time is only 0:33 seconds as space is so limited.

several years ago I flew AA to Dallas for my cousin's wedding. Service wasn't the best, attendants were pesky. I got yelled at by an attendant just for going to the washroom during turbulance... But i really needed to go! I'm not happy with their service...

Looking at those pictures makes me want to go back to china...And perhaps visit some theme parks too... China is like home for me and I have not been in ages... Although I heard some bad stuff about the reliability of chinese amusement parks.

Yeah, I don't get what's with the OTSR's on Indiana Jones... The other Indiana Jones rides don't have OTSRs as far as I know...
