  1. I'm actually quite disappointed with Super Monkey Ball for the DS. I have troubles with the stylus, so I just use the D-pad. And then, there are just too many repeat levels from past SMB games, and most of the party games aren't that great. I'm also disappointed that the next game in the SMB series is Super Monkey Ball adventure. The DS game which I haven't taken out of the system recently is Tetris. I'm addicted to it! Anyway Robb, I think you convinced me to play Twisted, which I haven't done in the past few months (too many DS games to play!)
  2. My Collection probably rivals Lou's, if not a bit larger. I own too many movies. Unfortunately, I own lots and lots of crap. But thats why I love my collection.
  3. Ok, my last couple attempts have consisted of me adding text onto a picture and nothing more. Here is my first attempt of trying anything more than that, so its kinda crappy. I also used MS Paint rather than a fancier program so thats one reason for crappy quality. Enjoy........ Emus on a Raft!
  4. As far as I know, the theme is not really Rod Stewart songs, but isntead songs from Stewart's Great American Songbook albums. ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  5. I watch American Idol as I do every year, but getting tired of the way America votes (or is it all part of the producer's master plan? hmmmmm......) My favorite contestants never make it that far (last year- Jessica Sierra, this year- Mandisa, Will Makar, and Brenna!!!!!! (I LOVED Brenna!!) So, every year its always depressing for me to watch singers I don't like that much. Chris- Stop screaming and sing something different, thanks! (appreciated country week) Kellie- nobody can be that dumb! Taylor- calm down dude! Katharine- some of your notes make my years bleed. Ace- disaster! I am ok with Elliot and Paris right now but its obvious those two will be out in the next 3 weeks. I'm also tired of some of the judges, I think a little new blood would help a bit.
  6. Twisted is great! I love Touched, but prefer Twisted! Offers more of a challenge! I love the Gamecube port though with all the party games. You can NEVER go wrong with the balancing on turtles game.
  7. (And I don't believe her doing so well is due to VFTW.)
  8. Awwww..... those pics make me kinda sad. Not the world's greatest park, but I had fun at Miracle Strip. Starliner was fun, and the indoor flats were great, but my favorite was definitely the Haunted Castle!
  9. Nice pics haux! Makes me miss AZ (graduated in '02) Quick question though, did they ever move the carnival back on campus? I couldn't quite tell by the pictures. My first 2-3 years the carnival was on campus and it was so convenient, but my senior (or junior, I don't remember) year they moved it off campus due to construction. I never made it out to the off-campus carnival but it just didn't seem the same to me.
  10. I could care less about lightning fast speeds and super realistic graphics. Give me fun gameplay and I'm there. Unfortunately most people prefer the former over the latter, so the PS3 and the 360 will probably outsell The Revolution. I hope the controller gimmick turns out well and its possible that The Revolution will be able to hold its own if it does work well. But for me, i have no interest AT ALL in the 360 or PS3, The Rev will be the only system I'm even contemplating on getting.
  11. Ugh! Monster Plantation! Is it me, or does that ride have a wierd smell? Awwww! I like rides with weird smells! (Musty-type smells are my favorite for some odd reason). I so need to get up to SFoG to experience Monster Pl....errrr....Goliath!
  12. Busch gardens Europe and Busch Gardens Africa are apparently the new "official" names of the Williamsburg and Tampa Parks.
  13. http://www.theflavoroflovegirls.com
  14. I gotta make it up to SFoG! Looks like they've got a good collection of coasters. Is it sad though that besides Goliath, the ride i'm most looking foward to is Monster Plantation!?!
  15. IMO, Spiderman never really needed a separate preshow video that you were forced to watch. I don't think being forced to watch a video for Spiderman would add much to the story. DarKastle though is another story. One, it really does add to the themeing and atmosphere of the experience. Two, it really does give a much-needed explanation of whats going on and if you miss that, you'd pretty much be lost.
  16. I would definitely be up to some 4-player (or even 2-player matches!) but the way Nintendo sets things up, its so hard to do w/ friends. If anyone wants to play some amtches just either send me a PM here at TPR or email me at Slacking20@msn.com, if I'm not at work, I'm most likely at the computer, lol.
  17. Another Corona here.
  18. Looks like TAR is moving to Wednesday nights at 8pm EST starting this coming week. http://www.thefutoncritic.com/cgi/pr.cgi?id=20060330cbs01
  19. I'll add the 3 previously listed codes, here is mine: 327814-483214
  20. On their website, Rainbows End has the GREATEST little song ever!!!! Its waaaay too catchy, gotta love it! I recommend anyone who has never heard to visit the site and listen to it: http://www.rainbowsend.co.nz/assets/flash.htm Anyway, the closest coaster to me is Montu at BGT (refuse to call it BGA)
  21. oooh.... Tough vote! I've been on 5/8 of the coasters (The 5 North American ones) The only one I dislike of those 5 is Iron Dragon. Yikes, boring ride. Ninja was better than expected and lots of fun. Vortex was a huge surprise and one of the better coasters at its park. Top Gun is short but packs a punch. But, BBW is fantastic. I love swinging past the little houses and then the drop down into the Rhine is fantastic. BBW got my vote but 4/5 of the ones I've ridden I have enjoyed quite a bit.
  22. August '05, so not super long ago.
  23. I actually sat in the very front, and I still found it on the verge of unbearable.
  24. Nice PTR cfc! I wanna go back to BGE! I went for a few hours last June and rode what was new for me but lines were too long for BBW and Nessie. Awesome pics and great captions! Nothing wrong with being "sad and pathetic!" Justin "Often sad and pathetic" King
  25. 3rd row is perfect!!! Rode the 3rd row a few weeks back and left the ride with an acceptable level of wetness (a few splashes here and there but nothing too bad)
