aaah shut up Disney Boy!! I'm glad that this will be YET ANOTHER credit for me to pick up this fall! So what if some people count powered coasters? Its just a number! I dont think this will be on the level of fun that Thunder Run is, but I'd say this should be a nice little ride Seriously though, thanks for finally doing SOMETHING Universal even if its just a kiddie coaster. LOL, between this and Shamu Express I won't be shut out next trip 8) Oooh..... thanks for the Shamu Express reminder! I may have to hit Sea World after I'm done at Universal tomorrow.

Photo TR: The Johnson's Coaster Vacation (2006)

I always assumed those buckles were there so people could practice how to buckle their belts before they get on the ride. Of course thinking about it that way seems kinda silly. Do all riders get candy after the new dark ride, or only the winning car? Half of me wants to watch the video, but half of me wants to wait until I ride it myself this summer. -

Wow, I had no idea BGW (re)added Pirates 4D. Seems kinda weird to me....... IMO, the not to miss show at BGW is that cheesy leprachaun castle show. Totally forget the name, but it was fantastically cheesetastic, which is right up my alley. Oooh, Its always weird seeing Mice rides with a first drop. The first and only one I've ridden like that was up at PCW. Nice pics Erik! I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but you visited HP, right? Did you ride their Extreme Peannut Butter Cup ride? I've been wanting to see a review on that ride. -

I was at the park yesterday (5/30), and rode Deja Vu w/o a problem. Goliath didn't open until around noonish though. Ninja was not my msot pleasant ride experience (I swear i heard something in my jaw area crack against the restraints at one point, but my least favorite coaster had to be Dahloogalooga (whatever its called) Mine Train, I even enjoyed Canyon Blaster (whatever its called) more, it was a fun little coaster. -

Hijacking this thread momentarily (MP here I come!) but I'm off (at 12:30am) to Atlanta for the day. Too bad I did not get a nap in tonight and that I am driving back after the park and will have to go to work on Wed (calling sick for today, shhhhh) with very little sleep. Hope its all worth it! -

LOL! I hope you can handle the smell of the Monster Plantation. MP has a smell to it?? It has just gone up in my priority list! A cheesy old dark ride wouldn't be quite the same without it's own unique smell (whether it's intentional (Hello E.T.!) or natural due to the water) -

A little more than 12 hours until I experience Monster Plantation (oh, and a little something something called Goliath), I can't wait! Nice report! -

When I visited AI for the first time last year, I couldn't find the entrance for those 5 body slides. The signage isn't really there, and the entrance is kind of weird. Except for having trouble finding those slides, its really quite a nice park. I hate the Corkscrew though, so painful! Nice pics, I should take the journey to visit Riptide. -
They have had problems in the past with cotnestants lying about their age (an incident back in the first season comes to mind) so I'm sure they do super background checks to make sure all the info is correct.

That was a brilliant 2 hours of craptastic TV, I loved it!
-
Wow, they really did a great job at setting up the next season. My guess that the time gap between Seasons 5 and 6 will be shorter than in past seasons. Which is a shame, because Gardener doesn't seem to be the most interesting President this series has seen. Also, I loved how the Logan storyline was wrapped up. The smirk on Martha's face was fantastic.
-
Honestly, I'm not a Season 3 fan. Not a fan of Palmer's storyline and the Mexico stuff bored me. It did introduce was to Chloe though, so thats a good thing. The season did pick up towards the end, but I think its my least favorite. I think season 2 is my favorite with season 1 being very, very close behind.
-
Hot? Sure An even bigger annoyance to the storyline? Definitely. Lets go back to the double whammy of season 2 having to watch her not only encounter that damn mountain lion but then to have to deal with that weirdo in his bunker. Girl's got bad luck.

Great Pics! Looking foward to my first visit to SFoG (either in the next 5 weeks or in August, not sure yet)...... must ride Monster Plantation!
-
24 has also given us some kickass female characters including Nina Meyers, Sherry Palmer, Dina Araz, Chloe O'Brien, and Martha Logan. Honorable mentions go out to Lynn Kresge and Audrey Raines (Season 5 not Season 4)

Photo TR: A Friday Night at Lakeside
Slacking replied to Rockman89's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Nice Photos! I'm definitely a Lakeside fan. Its kinda funny, my first Denver visit I went to both Lakeside and SFEG. When I returned to Denver a year or two later, I skipped SFEG but had to do Lakeside again, its a great little park! Their little train around the lake is a lot of fun too. But I have to admit, the Wild Chipmunk is one of the scariest rides I've been on, it looks like it could fall apart at any given time. Still a fun ride though. -

Awesome report Robb!! Did you get a chance to play Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz? That and WarioWare: Smooth Moves are the two games I am looking foward to the most (oh and Smash Bros. Brawl in '07) Its awesome seeing Nintendo the talk of the show. I wouldn't call myself a fanboy, but I'm pretty loyal to them, I even still have a Virtual Boy! It looks like this system will put them back on the map after they faltered a bit with the GC (which I do love, btw) Also, Transformers: The Movie should be a cool game, as long as y'all don't make us play as Bernie Mac. -
That actually looks pretty good! But what looks even better? All that Vault! Yum! (as I take a sip from my Vault Zero)
-
I've never been a Chris fan (of course this is comnig from one who loved Brenna Gethers and Kevin Covais), so tonight made me very happy..... and quite shocked! Their chosen one is gone!
-
Bravo Nintendo, that was brilliant. Not a peep about Smash Bros. during its conference, getting everybody to wonder what happened to it, and then..... BAM! and gets revealed this way I wasn't sure whether or not to believe the news when I first heard it. Sad its not a launch title, but thats cool, at least we know its coming.
-
At first glance, a shot of a coaster looked like Superman (tunnel? launch?) at SFMM (def. not Japan), so it could be SFMM also, not sure. They also showed what I think was a Frisbee. Yeah, I purposely left spoilers from tonight's episode, but it is an entertaining episode.
-
OMG!! TAR visits an amusement park (in Japan I assume) next week! Anybody catch what park it was based on the previews?
-
I thought Metroid was announced for 2007, so its not a launch title.
