Yeah, I was also able to find a Nunchuk on day 1. None since then though. Only official accessories I've seen have been Points cards (And why is Best Buy selling $20 cards for $23?) -
For those who have added me, I have to warn you for the random Miis you may find in your parade. Most of the Miis I made are jokes between my brother and I, but I still made a couple recognizable celebrities. If only I was better at making them........

7643 8047 4918 8620 I've been having a blast making Miis. Mine don't look much like who they're supposed too, but thats ok. Wes- have you made a Sinese Mii yet? -Justin

I'm not too impressed by the deals this year. I may go by Best Buy sometime Fri. or Sat. though to see if they have anymore $15 1gb SD cards left. If not, no big deal.

I'm not impressed by Excite Truck either, but the system is fantastic! -

I've played Wii Sports, Monkey Ball, and Marvel so far, quite happy with all 3, even though my team on Marvel already died at Bullseye.. Will try Rayman later, and possibly Zelda. -

LOL.. That's awesome. I dont think Citywalk on my side of the country had anything like that. I'm still thinking about getting a Wii.. HMmmm.. We need some reviews! Eric Our Citywalk (which pales in comparison to Hollywood's) doesn't have an EB like Hollywood's does, so it would be kind of pointless for it to hold any sort of launch party. -

I was going to make a surrogate joke when you made a comment that the guy looked like Super Dave, but was shocked to see an actual Arrested Development connection with the meeting of Michael Cera, that's awesome. Wow, that line was insane. At least you and your roommate were able to get a system. I'm kind of surprised by the hype over the Wii, I thought most people (not me) were over Nintendo. It's really good to see the excitement over it. I still have 2 hours until I can pick up my preordered Wii (I know it is Sunday, but why must the mall not open until Noon?) -

Went to two Wal-Marts around 1:30am to get a controller (both parts) and Zelda. First store had neither, second Wal-mart had everything I needed. Sounded like both stores sold out of their stock of Wiis. Good thing I preordered it at Gamestop, now only if they didn't open at noon.............. -

I played several Wii games today at my local mall, and I have to say that it was quite a blast! Loved the Sports games I played (baseball, bowling, tennis), Wii Play Shooting was awesome, and Zelda looks like it'll be great. Not too impressed by Excite Truck, but it was alright. Now I just need to be able to play the games I've already purchased, it's almost Sunday! -

I read at IGN that Costco will not be receiving any Wiis on launch day, and that their launch allocation was sold strictly online. -
Launch day is near! PS3/Wii-kend Launches.

Yes Elissa, you have to wait until Sunday, sorry. Unless you know someone willing to break the Nintendo law, or stores that don't care about street dates, or they just don't know any better and slip up like they did when they sold the DS lites early. But other than that, every thing from Nintendo, controllers, games, point cards, are street dated the same as the Wii, sorry. But you can get SMBBB, or any other game you want right now!! except Excite Truck or Zelda. Cant Robb sneak a Wii-mote away from work for the weekend?? we wont tell Those pesky Wal-Mart (where you work, correct?) cash registers won't let you buy something pre-street date. My local Wal-mart stocked their shelves w/ Excite Truck and Zelda. Out of interest, I asked for a copy of Zelda (along with Rayman ), and the Zelda wouldn't ring up because it was before the 19th. Smart registers, lol. It was funny though, the employee looked annoyed, sighed, and stated that his manager did that all the time (stock shelves with pre-street date merchandise). Looks like my launch lineup for Wii will be Sports (duh), Monkey Ball, Rayman, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and hopefully Zelda. -

Elissa, sounds like you won't be able to get your Wii remote and nunchuck until Sunday at the earliest. Monkey Ball is on the shelves though, I bought mine yesterday! -

Woohoo! Bought my copies of Monkey Ball and Ultimate Alliance today! If only I had a system to play them on. Come on Sunday, come on! -

The whole gimmick thing is exactly what people were saying about the DS before (and right after) it launched. Nintendo quickly proved that belief wrong though, and I'm confident we'll see the same thing happen with the Wii. -

I got my Wii preordered and plan to pick it up on Sunday along with Monkey Ball, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and maybe Zelda. No desire to ever get a PS3. -

Elissa, I'm the same way. Nintendo has always made what I've enjoyed, so I've always stuck with them. I just can't get into the Sony and Microsoft products. I'm so addicted to my DS right now (Elite Beat Agents is genius!) it's kinda scary. Ok, when I think of cases, I think of larger quantities. But 4-6 PS3's per store sounds about right. -

How many in a case (for the PS3's)? Depending on how many are in a case, I would guess your guess may be a bit on the high side. As for the Wii..... I can't wait! I may have to freeze myself! I just need to figure out what 2-4 games I'm gonna buy. -
I'm not a Pyhton fan at all, for me it has always delivered a rough and semi-painful ride. BUT, yesterday before reporting for HOS, I got to the park early for my farewell ride on Python, and was surprised by the smoothest ride I've ever felt on that ride. Still not going to miss it though...........

Saturday, and we did do After Hours. I really liked the ending, the whole going to jail set up was neat. Well, I would have to say they definately work better in teams to produce the scare. HHN seemed more theatrical, and more planned. I also liked the use of water - A LOT - did HOS use any spray effects like that... anywhere?? Yeah, I picked up that you hit After Hours, I just don't think you guys went through while I was on set (I would have recognized TPR shirts and stuff (looks like some of you were wearing them) and would have said something (TPR get on the truck, or something non-witty like that, I wish I was witty)). As Derek said, their is a spray effect at the bar in After Hours. Also in After Hours, there is an artist on a platform that sprinkles blood (water of coruse) in guests face. And finally in Freaked, there is also a spray effect (I believe the first carny at the left fork (first time it branches) has a sprayer). I actually think HHN overused water a bit this year (the inclusion of water effects is in almost every house) The ways the houses are laid out, and actors placed make it a bit tougher for us at HOS to team up. But there are instances where this happens (Freaked does a good job at this, and I'm able to team up with the Sliders sometimes for scares, but last year I was in all by my lonesome in a little corner in deathly departed, making it impossible to team) PsychoPath over at HHN was one of my favorites this year just because the actors did a great job at teaming up for scares, I was like a friggin' ping pong in that house. And once again I defy basic grammar and probably misused parentheses way too much.

What night did y'all hit HOS? I don't think you guys went through my house (After Hours) during my cast's set. Except for a couple roles, I think *possible biased comment ahead* my cast offers a better experience. I hope you all got into our little paddy wagon with no difficulties (I'm the cop standing out front trying to get guests inside.) Anyway, the HHN/HOS debate never ends. Honestly, both events offer a great experience. Not sure if I agree with the actors try harder at HHN comments (once again, I may be a bit biased), as I have walked through several HHN houses (Run (especially), DoT, and screamhouse mainly) where the actors look very bored and don't really go for the scare. I was disappointed that HOS only offered 1 new house this year, but we'll see what next year brings (remember, HOS doesn't get to deal with the large budget HHN has)
