  1. Which brings up a point, Universal's renewal price blow's Disney's out of the water. You can't go wrong with renewing for only $99.
  2. These passes are now a bit over $200. I jsut had a deluxe premium pass from WDW, and used it quite a bit. I think I mainly used it quite a vit so I knew i got my money's worth from it. Like people said, Universal's pass is a better value. And I do feel that they are treated a bit better than Disney passholders. Plus, Universal still gives out plastic passes with photos on them! In the end it all depends on which parks you enjoy more, but I just stated my 3rd year with Universal, while I'm taking a break with my Disney pass. I also have a Sea Worl/ BGT pass, which is also a good deal if you take advantage of their Fun Card deal or their Flex Pay program.
  3. Thanks for pointing that out. I totally would have missed out on it! I can't wait until the snow thaws and we get new fish to catch and........ insects!
  4. Once the guy in the camera got off, I think the accident was mainly caused due to the track being messed up (which is what originally did in our 2 main protagonists in the dreams cenario). This part of the mvoie was confusing and not filmed as well as it could have, so I may be wrong.
  5. TT, we won't know tonight. Elissa hasn't even topped off the bottle yet!
  6. I had a hard time with my guess. My gut kept telling me that the total was lower than I thoguht it would be. My final guess is still on the lower end of the spectrum though. I'll be interested to see the total amount.
  7. I Love Indy Jones (and even Dinosaur). I Love Tower of Terror. Heck, I love Mr. Toad and Car Toon Spin. I don't love EE. I guess you can say I mildly like EE. As for the other poster asking about the meaty roller coaster section, IMO, EE never gets into a meaty coaster secton. Some people may argue that the coaster section between the Yeti projection and Yeti animatronic is meaty enoguh, but I don't think it is long or interesting enough to be considered "meaty."
  8. Is there a T?
  9. Wow, the CM interviewing that family had the personality of a cardboard box! And while I'm not the biggest fan of EE, that video made the ride look much more boring than it really is, and I think the ride is fairly boring to begin with,
  10. The Final Destination movies have always been a huge guilty pleasure for me. Scanning a few of these posts, it looks like FD2 is generally disliked. I honestly loved it! I liked the whole traffic accident scene and how that scenario brought together a group of strangers who had to deal with the whole death thing. So, I saw FD3 yesterday (after having ridden Kraken earlier in the day), and while it was my least favorite in the series, I enjoyed it overall. The coaster stuff was so unrealistic, but I don't go into a Final Destination film expecting realism. I also wish it had a little stronger connection to the first 2 films (for isntance FD2 has a girl and that creepy guy from FD1 in it). I did enjoy some of the deaths though and the movie interested me all the way through and I liked the aspect with the photographs and the whole dilemma about if you knew how you would die, would you want to know? I disagree with a previous poster though who said that the ending made it seem like there was no room for a FD4. Well, we could start with a whole new group of people which the FD films seem to do.
  11. I didn't notice conslutant, thats awesome! I loved this show and its little gags that you can't all get in one showing. I even had to tell my brother about Franklin's shirt, he didn't catch it the first time around.
  12. It pained me when Fox kept calling it Season Finale. No sense in giving fans false hope. Free Ride and The Loop will probably both stink, but I'll be willing to at least give both of them a chance. "Marry Me! Thats weird on so many levels."
  13. Hey Dude was the best! There are many Nickelodeon shows I would love to watch again, even if I didn't particularly like then when I was younger. I'm talking about shows like: Fifteen Don't Just Sit There Welcome Freshman You Can't Do That on Television and of course Nick Jr.'s Pinwheel! And then game shows that aren't on GAS such as Summer's Double Dare, Make the Grade, and Think Fast I think I just showed my 80's-ness
  14. Most of these may have been mentioned already, but here is a list of shows I think are underrated: Arrested Development (I'll miss ya) The Mole (Anderson Cooper hosted editions) American Gothic Wonderfalls Action The Critic Sledge Hammer! And my current favorite guilty pleasures: (they could be considered as underrated I guess) The Soup The Flavor of Love!!!
  15. When the cast I revealed, I decided to outright hate Melinda for no good reason. I wasn't even a fan of her last week. But I liked her during the alst episode, and I felt really bad she was voted out the way she was. Her and Cirie really got shafted with their new tribe. Shane bugs the heck out of me, I want him gone now!
  16. Fantastic episodes. They wrapped things up nicely and brought it all full circle, but I agree it really did feel like a series finale. I can see why Mitch Hurwitz is leaning towards not continuing the show. ETA one thing I CAN'T get out of my head................. Mock Trial with J. Reinhold! Mock Trial with J. Reinhold!
  17. Oops, I'll ahve to edit that and said I'll have to ride it again. Thanks for pointing that out.
  18. Are you talking to me? I've ridden EE, I've been somewhat outspoken about its flaws.
  19. I'll have to ride EE again to solidify my opinion, but honestly, I have more fun riding Big Thunder than I do riding EE. I may receive flack for that opinion, but thats fine.
  20. Second batch of photos........... "GRRRRRR....... Gwazi Me was down today!!!!" And with scary plant tiger, that wraps up my report. Thanks for reading! Looks like I'll never ride Akbar. BTW, Fuji Film sign is gone, so my guess of leftover HOS signage was probably right. No Celebrating the Light for me today, but I gotta admit Katonga is a guilty pleasure for me. Picture is out of order, but Tidal wave was well...... out of order. Looks like work was being done on the splash bridge. The water portion is working! Wow, so exciting! Look how excited I am while riding Rhino Rally. Whee!!! A little snack in the rain. After Pirates I see that Cheetah Crawl is cycling cars through. I hope the seats are wet due to the movie....... If only they modeled this pirate after Leslie Nielsen. Surely, I can't be serious. New Pirates stuff outside of the theater. The reason I came to BGT today, no lie! I love you Scorpion...... no really, I do.
  21. I washanging around the house today doing nothing. At 12:30, I decided to go to BGT. I left the house at 1:00pm, and arrived at the park at 1:30pm. Turning onto McKinley to take me to BGT I could see the Everest Billboard at the next intersection. As expected, the park was dead. I loved it. It was overcast when I arrived and just got worse as the day went on. It started to rain and it last about 15-30 minutes. The only ride that it seemed to effect was Cheetah Chase. First place I headed to was the Hospitality House for my free beer! Next was Shiekra, which was a walk-on! It was running great today. Next was what may possibly be my final Python ride (not fun) and then Kumba (running well). Afterwards it was time for Scorpion, I love this little ride. Next was Pirates 4D. Despite major plot holes (how is that kid alive and how is he still a kid?) it is definitely more fun of a flick than Haunted Lighthouse. I love Leslie Nielsen, he's great and does a great job. I do think that the film is dated (the end features a cameo of a celebrity thats been dead for awhile) and does not use 3D very often or very well, but I prefer it over HL. As I leave Pirates, I saw Cheetah Crawl..... I mean Chase cycling empty cars. I got in the short line waiting for them to open up. 10 minutes later they finally opened. Yay! And then I did the unthinkable........... I rode Rhino Rally! Even more amazing? The water portion was working!!! Not so surprising though is that after I got out of the jeep they announced the ride was down. I bet if it ever came back up today it would have been w/o the water portion. This ride is such a dud. Its not very fun even with the water portion working, the water portion doesn't work very often, and there just aren't many animals to see. I always get the feelings as if the jeep drivers know how bad their ride is. After RR, I took the required walk through King Tut's Tomb and then rode Montu which also was running well today. Once again crowds were not an issue. Even with Motnu and Kumba only running one train each I was able to walk straight onto both rides. Overall, I did quite a bit in 2 and a half hours, and was quite satisfied. On with the pics............... First half posted, will post the second batch sometime after American Idol. My home this past October. I miss you Deathly Departed!! Closeup of Kumba's awesome new paint job. Pictures don't do it justice, its great! Countdown to Concussion........ Will this be a sight we won't be seeing much longer? Obligatory SheiKra car on track pic Here was SheiKra's entire line! I remember waiting in this entire queue area last year! Yum! Most delicious tree since Willy Wonka My first stop.......... FREE BEER!!!!
  22. I don't think a lot of people are complaining about a lack of plant growth (or at least they shouldn't be) because once the plants grow out a bit, it shuld be pretty cool. But being able to see the mountain structure when going backwards is inexcusable. Someone brought up the argument of being able to see Space Mt.'s structure/roof. Well, at least the Mt. itself is masked with the space effects. As for the coaster structure (if thats what you're referring to), the way Space Mt. is designed, well, there's really no way around that. With EE, the mountain structure painfully obvious. If they could find a way to make that darker, or shield it somehow it would be an improvement. As is, its a very jarring distraction and it took me away from the point of the ride everytime I saw that structure. And about the back of Splash Mountain, I think the only time I have seen that is in pictures (I'm trying to remember if the railroad reveals it, but don't think so) which is a huge difference compared to being able to see it every time you enter the parking lot.
  23. Wow, kumba looks fantastic. Thanks for the pics Erik! Oooh, Pirates is officially open? If I get bored the next two days, I may have to make the drive up to BGT.
  24. Ok, that explains it, I connect to Fowler by I-75, I don't have to hit 275 at all. But, thinking about it, I do remember that there is one billboard in that general area driving west that always has something Disney, so I'm rpetty sur eI know where that one is now, thanks!
  25. Erik, where on Fowler is that???? I work on Fowler and didn't see it, must be between my work and I-275 (You-know-where happens to be between those two, lol).
