Since I have not been following it week by week I think I have a different take. I watched all of Season One on DVD after Season Two started and Season Two last month on DVD. Then caught up on Episodes 1-6 on iTunes. I find the storytelling compelling but can see the points a lot of people are making in the series losing steam. However, I think that is just a function of our instant gratification society. As more answers turn up the series will get boring if new mysteries don't develop. New characters have to be brought in if original cast members are killed off. It is good to know that the creators are not going to make it a "Snow Globe" ending like it's all a dream, everyone's life going past their eyes as the plane is about to crash. I am looking forward to February and my patient nature should allow me to enjoy the rest of the show's run. Many of the theories I had are shot so I'll just have to keep speculating. I think Ben is going to die but I'm curious what the power struggle will be afterwards between Danny and Juliet. I believe Juliet was dropped on the island later than the other "Others" to make them fertile again. I don't understand how Rousseau has been never been killed by the Others, you would think that they would not want her ever to have the chance to find the rebeliious Alex to tell her the truth. I originally thought the Island was the entrance to hell and the black smoke was the gatekeeper to Hades, but now I have no idea.

I rode it this year when I saw it open one visit, knowing it would be gone soon. I didn't find it painful, although it was real loud. It was the first time I had ridden it in at least ten years. I remember waiting over 2 hours for Stuntman's Freefall when it opened. -

Is this a joke - do you really take that stupid plastic toy with you to amusement parks? You may need psychiatric help -
Waltzer ride 50ft dia 10 cars for sale £25,000

^^That's the exact one I'm talking about. One of the greatest flat rides experiences. -
theoretically, only a golf ball or the person employee retrieving the balls should be in the middle of the cage.
-
When a person gets scared, the pancreas produces large amounts of adrenaline that helps face fears instead of fleeing. While waiting in line, the body produces adrenaline. After the ride, an excess of adrenaline produces an "adrenaline rush." That's why some people notice they have an abundance of energy after stepping off a roller coaster. You asked for educated answers!

Quick someone notify Dick Knoebel. Too bad they would never be able to run this properly in the US -
New York City In The Winter Time, Any Tips?

If you not going into the Statue of Libertty you might want to take the Staten Island Ferry instead. It is free for a one hour round trip and you can buy and drink beer on the ferry. You get great views of Manhattan, Liberty Island and the Verrazano Narrows bridge. Most of the food options presented by others are good, Ellen's Starlight Diner is average food, but the wait staff is actors and singers. I don't think Rainbow Room is not worth it unless you are trying to impress a woman. The rotating lounge at the top of The Marriot Marquis is in Times Square and an overpriced drink is a lot better than an overpriced meal. -
I still watch the leprechaun clip every once in a while. My all-time favorite YouTube moment. "Could be a crackhead, gotz ahold of some bad stuff"

Parking robbery!
larrygator replied to RCoasterny's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^^I'm all for parking garages at all space challenged parks as a capital improvement. However SF would probably jack the rices up to $25 a pop. I'm still waiting for SF to offer a parking pass valid for all SF parks. -
^and don't forget to ride Men in Black as a single rider so you can be called sad and pathetic by the ride op

^not exactly the same in my opinion underrated - one that doesn't the greatest reviews but that you think is a great closet closet coaster - doesn't have to be a great coaster just one that you really enjoy. you can even admit this coaster is lame but you still like riding it

There is a second amusement park at Coney Island called "Deno's" and the Wonder Wheel is at Deno's and will continues unless Deno's is also sold. There are also other attractions owned by independent operators (The B&B Carousel was purchased by NYC last year and NYC is supposed to be building a new pavillion for it), the guy that ran The Zipper and a couple of other flats could not renew his lease. El Dorado bumper cars are also independent as is Dick Zigun's Sideshow by the Seashore Freak Show. I'm not sure which independent operators own the land versus lease it. The parachute tower would probably not go anywhere since is was recently repainted and cleaned by NYC at great investment and sits on the boardwalk which is technically on NY State park land. At lot of leases on small business operators are not being renewed in anticaption of the renewal.

Christmas Parks

I think I will do something different to TPR. I have only been to one park for the Holidays and since I have nothing to compare it to, I am not going to mention any park as best for the Holidays. -
Nice Joe, but I already have that Chic-Fil-A credit
