I've been to SFGAm over 20 times this year alone, and I have never seen that happen. On what ride do they let EMPTY seats go?! That's just crazy! If anything, it's the GP holding up the line in the station and they wait a train so they can ride with their friends (therefore, leaving empty seats untaken) but Flash Pass people don't assign seats on any coaster in the park.

I do agree with the post above mine. I went to Valleyfair in September 2009, and I felt that the park was missing something. The only ride that had a line was Renegade, and that was because it was running one train. The park just seemed dead. Their coaster collection is a bit lackluster, and I feel that they are in need of something. Wild Thing is fun, it's fast, but it isn't that intense. Valleyfair is the only CF park that doesn't have a B&M, and Corkscrew is their only roller coaster with inversions. They don't need a capacity monster that a B&M is, but even just a Euro-fighter or anything would be nice. Edit: My bad, I forgot about Michigan's Adventure!

Six Flags Great America this weekend!

I rode Rattler on July 7th (Saturday) and had a similar experience. After waiting an hour for Rattler, the ride broke down. I was in the station already and maybe 50 feet from getting assigned a row. After 20 minutes or so, many people start to exit the ride by entering the station and leaving through the Flash Pass entrance, but many people pretended to exit and got in line for a row of the ride. I eventually did the same as nearly everyone was almost out of line and I got in line for the front row. I could see how frustrated the Lo-Q guy got, but there was nothing he could do with so many people already in the station waiting for their row. Like the post on Ultimaterollercoaster said, I waited an hour+ for Rattler, I wasn't gonna get assigned the back row to enjoy my ride. It's a dumb Six Flags policy and in his situation, it escalated quickly. I'm glad I got my farewell ride, but I could tell there were some problems with this 'policy' .

Whatever about Flashback. It's a bummer about Texas Chute Out being removed. SFOT has a great collection of old rides that they managed to keep open for a long time. I rode the parachute tower on both my visits in 2008 and 2011 and there never seemed to be a line for it. Oh well, it will be missed.

What a very nice and in depth trip report! I try to make it to the Dells every year, or at least every other year. It's a fun place to go for coasters (not so good ones,) mini golf, and amazing water parks. I agree that Hellcat is an amazing ride, and am glad Timber Falls is doing a great job keeping the park nice and tidy. The log flume is one of my favorites that I've been on, good theming and fun layout. Mount Olympus, I agree on everything. It's not my favorite water park, but I love the old mat slides in the upper water park. I just feel like they lack the collection that Wilderness and Noah's Ark have, and Mt. Olympus is HUGE! Oh well, I just hope they add more slides to fill up all the empty room.

American Eagle at Six Flags Great America a few hours ago. I got 9 night rides on it in a row

I rode Manhattan Express a few weeks ago expecting the worst. It wasn't too bad, but it was in some parts. The beginning drops and turns were very jerky and it was somewhat better during the loop and roll-over. But it's very rough at the beginning.

My only assumption to the change is that the sign is bigger now, so the GP notice it a lot better. It's newer, more shiny, etc. SFGAm replaced Viper's and American Eagle's sign (when they moved the entrance) so I guess it's something they do. Changed Condor's sign a while back, as well as Hometown Fun Machine.

Good news for SFGAm locals, as they re-assured us that East River Crawler will be back next year (on their Twitter account!) I love your wing-rider! It looks great in the forest and flying through the trees. I can't wait for X-Flight to be like that once the trees grow in. Your new SkyRush inspired ride is great, but I love that wing rider!

Adventuredome at Circus Circus, Las Vegas!

I went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on July 7th and these are the photos I got. I'll post a PTR later, but I'll just post pictures of the Sky Screamer now.

Boomerang Coast to Coaster - Darien Lake Boomerang - Elitch Gardens Flashback - Six Flags New England Flash Back - Six Flags Over Texas Sidewinder - Hersheypark Boomerang - Worlds of Fun Boomerang - Six Flags Fiesta Texas Zoomerang - Lake Compounce Boomerang Coast to Coaster - Great Escape Deja 'Vu - Six Flags Great America (if it counts) That's a whopping 9 too many boomerangs that I've been on. If you count GIB's, then that is 10. And off the top of my head, the one that was somewhat -remotely- re-ride able was Zoomerang at Lake Compounce.
