  1. - Dollywood (3 visits) - Mount Olympus (2 visits) - Six Flags Great America (14 visits - so far!) 7 new credits this year at this point. I got some more parks that I will visit this summer!
  2. I'm actually the opposite. I love it when parks hold back the line to prevent the station from being over-crowded. Especially during the summer months (when it's really, really hot), it's nice when you enter a station, and you only have to wait 1 train to get on. I feel like when there's a huge line for a row you're in line for, it takes ages to get on since 2 people board at a time. So I love it when you're not crowded in the station. Just my thoughts.
  3. I have yet to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios, but they have some amazing rides (Tower of Terror, Rock n Rollercoaster, etc) and I really have to visit soon. It reminds me a lot of Universal Studios how the pathways are set up like an actual road, it's really nice! PS. The Epcot Ball is so photogenic
  4. I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad day at SFGAm, but the line management is actually really good. It's hard to explain, but they way where they hold the line to let FP Users through doesn't make the line move any slower. You still wait the same amount, it is just that you wait in the same spot longer, than standing - walking - standing - walking. Because as soon as they let the line go, the station is nearly empty. I wanna say pre-2008, SFGAm wouldn't hold up the line, and coaster stations were a mess. Viper's for example, has a fairly large station, and you couldn't tell what row everyone was in line for. Now, with they way they hold the line, you can clearly see what row you can wait for, with only 2 people waiting per row, rather than 10-15 people. I do understand your frustration. Different Six Flags parks have different ways of operating their Flash Pass, and I know SFGAM's can be a hassle. But I do like it because it leads to the stations not being crammed with people.
  5. I noticed the rattle during the last helix, but also the turn before the Barrel roll. It's very apparent in the back left seats, and it really jiggles you up and down if you're sitting on the outside seat. But I'm sure that's common for Wing Riders cause Wild Eagle gave me the same treatment during it's final helixes too.
  6. I love the way you built the water falls underneath the log flume, it looks very nice. I'm glad you're working on this park again, and hopefully you could add a few more coasters to the park. Lots of potential!
  7. I can't take this post seriously. Much of a selection of anything? In what way? Our rides our kept (most times) in tip top shape! I understand that American Eagle is a bit rough, but it's still a fun experience. We have one of the best, if not, the best collection of flat rides in the whole SF chain. Food at the park is, on average, better than other SF parks. I'm just wondering if you assumed the park would not be crowded on a Wednesday, and only had a chance to ride a few of the rides? I'm just shocked by this. We aren't the best park in the world, but this is one of the most negative reviews of the park I've seen in awhile.
  8. This also has to do with poor planning on my part. But I decided to take a 3 week road trip in July visiting random parks with my family back in 2009. It was down the east coast and the worst day happened at Six Flags Great Adventure. We got to the park before opening and there was already a huge crowd present. But we were able to get on El Toro, Bizarro, and the Mine Train with no problem. As soon as lunch time came around, it seemed like every ride had a 2 hour line, and some with over flowing queues. By the time we went to get flash passes, they were sold out, so we decided to see what we could get on. It took us over half an hour to get food, it was scorching hot, really humid, and it seemed like every ride we went in line for broke down. We waited 40 minutes for Great American Scream Machine before it broke down, and they forced everyone to leave the queue. At the time, I was pissed off at everything because El Toro was closed, and Kingda Ka didn't open all day. We left the park around 4 o'clock in the afternoon after only getting 6 credits. Later next year, they announced that GASM was leaving, which made me wish I rode the ride the day we went, but I was having a bad day. I really looked down upon SFGADV until I visited with TPR as our add-on day to the North East trip last year. While it isn't my favorite park in the Six Flags chain, I was able to finally get on Kingda Ka and Flash Pass made everything more enjoyable
  9. -Click the Download image to download- I present my Wing-Rider, Snow Capsule. It's inspired by myself, how I want to escape the horrible Chicago winters by flying away somewhere better. So race around buildings and mountains and twist around and try to defeat the evil monster.... Cold. And I just want to say, I can't believe it's been a year since the Teh Big Dipper Challenge! That was the first contest I've entered on here, and glad more are still being held. PS. I added a new area to the park called 'Frosty Land'. That's the area of the park where my Wing Rider is, and I added some new rides. Nearly doubling the size of the park, and nearly enclosing the lake completely of rides. Enjoy! 10. I just find it funny that most of the seats are full!
  11. Guys, this new Mack Mega Looper you speak of, construction has started! I am at the park now and they are trying to cover up the construction like Silver Dollar City! Here's the footer.... Sorry that the photo is sideways. I am on my mobile device and couldn't wait to tell you guys the awesome news!
  12. That's a wooden coaster? I really like the drop into Grizzly's (KD) tunnel. Great pop of airtime. My bad. At first I was going to say Le Monstre and Cyclone, but then Bizarro popped into my head and I had to put it in. Whoops.
  13. Here's a link if anyone is interested. Click: Here The ride sounds glass smooth in the video
  14. I got 3 favorites... - Bizarro at SFNE. It's the part of the ride after the overbank turn and there are 2 airtime hills, the 2nd airtime hill was really intense. - Cyclone at SFNE. There was one hill in the structure that really pulled you out of your seat, one of the most surprising drops on any ride. - Le Monstre at La Ronde. I forget which side, and I know it's not the greatest ride around, but one side had this double drop thing and you got some insane air at the bottom of it.
  15. And this is why I love SFGAm. Proud of my Polish heritage, and I'll be visiting tomorrow.
  16. I can't get the fact that this is a Premier ride and not Maurer. Seriously, they have really identical tracks. The ride also looks more compact than in the animation video, which I love!
  17. The station looks a lot nicer compared to the Iron Wolf's station at SFGAm. It's actually themed and all that. Nice!
  18. I will admit, on the opening weekend of X-Flight, they were stacking a lot. But that was because ride operators were taking people's photos for them while they were on the ride, and everyone was having a good time. But the last two weekends, they do a great job. As soon as the first train gets on the breaks before the station, they send off the next train. The line moves really fast, even when it's an hour wait, you never really stop in line.
  19. I hate to say it, but Glee brought me to the song. I remember the song from when I was little.
  20. Out of the parks I've been to on your list, I have to agree that they are one of the best. Dollywood, Busch Gardens Europe and Africa, along with Six Flags Over Georgia. SFOG is definitely not my favorite SF park in the chain, but it does have positional, I could have visited on a bad day. And it's weird, but I have to agree with you about Kings Dominion. On my visit, the park seemed kinda trashy, but I still had fun. Most of the rides had a full queue, but I waited through them, and all the rides were just fun! PS - I hope to make it to Morey's Piers sometime soon!
  21. Six Flags Great America on Saturday and Sunday.
  22. I guess it can certainly feel that way if you've never been before, but really the park is actually built with a somewhat circular path system. You can exit off the main square at the front on either the right or left side and come back around in a continuous loop to the other side, but you have to know where you're going. What I mean by the layout was that it has many dead ends. Sure, there is the main 'middle' area of the park that is a square. But I was talking about the many dead ends in the park. WildFire... Powder Keg... Barnstormer... Grand Exposition.... and the Geyser Gulch area. I do love the park, don't get be wrong. I was just confused on where the ride was going in terms of where on the midway would you enter the ride. Mike_kelly already answered that for me, so it's all good.
  23. Is there anyone that knows the park well enough that could pull up a map and circle the area that the new ride is going in? I went to the park in 2012, but the park felt like a maze to me. Wildfire, PowerKeg, and the kiddie area were each a dead end and the park layout slipped my mind.
