BUMP. de bump. "Just wondering" if anybody's got any New News on the Turtle Twister at DLP Toon Studios? The latest I heard, was that it wasn't going to open until well into June, making it 'unlikely' we'd get a shot at soft openings, since we're going to be in Paris late April. Would they soft open an attraction that early, before the official opening date? Late April - late June? Two months ahead with public 'rehearsals'? Just thought I'd ponder and question, wonder and wander...

Our annual "Out On Screen'" Queer Film Festival is FINALLY going on this week, thru this coming weekend. So far, I've seen 9 out of my chosen total of 18 films and vid collection showings! Thank Gawd I have something to do, to get me out of the house for a while....and a change, lately. And it's a Good Thing too!

Wow, That wasa great TR thru a lot of great flats and rides. Our annual fair (The Pacific National Exhibition a/k/a The PNE) is opening this coming weekend with (count'em) 50+ rides into the two week Midway during the fair itself. Tho after seeing this stuff, makes me wonder what the heck they'd ever be able to add to the (already) feeble mix that passes for a seasonal amusement centre - hah. And I'm gettibng a combo entrance pass and ride pass (our seasonal pass gives us squat during the fair - woo hoo) for one day the fair and the rides. Here's hoping, on the 30th. Thanks for sharing all the great photos of your visits to the fairs.

Which reminds me... how many actual McDs did we get to or thru, on the UK trip? I don't remember that many at all. Mainly Burger King and Pizza Hut, few KFC, I do remember at a lot of the parks. McDs was at Chessington, yes? Alton Towers? Hmmm. Don't remember them all, if seen, but not gone into... Just a question of current remarks made in regards to 'future touring'...

I was wondering if I'd ever see a pic of myself on that ruddy clown coaster, after all the talking, and pleading and general coaxing I/we had to convince the (obviously) bored ride op to let me ride and revel in my triple digits, heh heh! Great TR so far. Looking forward to more of whatcha got there, lol. And I wore the right "accessory" too, heh heh! My 100th Coaster!
