  1. How many hammers, James??? Great TRs guys - I'm glad it ended 'somewhat' amicably (sp?) for you both. And Can-Obie... did you get a haircut recently? I don't see no blue hair there, peekin' outta the cap. Just an observe...
  2. Because we had Ryan with us.
  3. Chicago At least, nobody I know makes any remarks that say they liked it, etc. Which is sad. It's truly a modern success of a movie musical, one of the very few these past several years.
  4. ^ They didn't want any germs from each hammer to.... spread? Dunno, I thought that was kind of strange too, when they were first handed out to us. But hey - a "beer breakfast" (actually following an Excellent Breakfast at hotel, that early morning), mini-liquors, the Balder Bags (w/playing cards, wood 'coaster' coasters inside), nails and the hammers.... all between 1000 and 1100 AM? And then the ERT on Balder and Kanonen??? Heck - they could have doilyed (sp?) the hammer heads for all I cared at that point in time, heh heh. Best - park - ever. Followed by Best - Wooden - Coaster - ever.
  5. Now that I (pardon the expression)... POPPED my Drop/Blast Tower Cherry during this past TPR Uk Tour in June... - Yeah, and just starting to enjoy these towers at my age. Bite me. - The best for me, certainly was APOCALYPSE at Drayton Manor park. I mean, this tower had not one, not two, but three ways of riding this thing! Amazing. I loved it. Definitely helped 'cure' my fear of heights, if you can imagine, heh heh. (Pix courtesy of park website) The tilt-and-DOWN! side. A very nice tower of fun, three ways going. (o: A little closer, showing two of the three ways to....fall. Left tilts towards ground; right has 'floor' under feet for standup. Third is sitdown, floorless. There it is in all it's freaky glory!
  6. ^ 2007 Tours to be 'announced in August.' Subject to change, at the Mr.& Ms. Moderators' whim? Patience. Patience.
  7. Yes, and we never did get to that TWO LITRE BOTTLE and FULL PACK OF... hmmm? Purely for experiment's sake, yah shure yu betcha......
  8. Thanks for the TR, Chuck. One of these years, there WILL come the time, when the food actually resembles what it actually looks like on signs, in menus, etc. etc. etc. But a nice comparison, all the same, LOL. Hmmm. Long lines I would still not be used to, not after all that 'earliness & freeness' of that, um.... "tour across the pond"? Merci for sharing, cfc.
  9. "That we exist in a much better world for all...." Tra laaaaaaaaahhhhh. Take that, Yankee Rodent-loving Wench! Actually, 'Canadians au Flambe' are quite tasty, esp. those from the east, altho somewhat tougher and more INTENSE FLAVOR!!! (apologies to "Sweeney Todd" and the number, "A Little Priest".)
  10. Be afraid. Be very afraid of the "includes a nice surprise." And I'm sure this trip wasn't even half as exciting, as having 50+ coaster freaks surrounding you at every waking moment...? But thanks for sharing.
  11. 1. The Indiana Jones Adventure - DL 2. Pirates of The Caribbean - DLParis 3. Expedition: Everest - DAK 4. The Vampire - Chessington World of Adventures, England 5. Any Haunted Mansion - all the Disney Magic Kingdom parks
  12. Hmmm. That sounded.....disappointing didn't it, Derek? Well at least, Tusenfryd got you ready for anything remotely wet, heh heh. Nice TR, guys. Now go have another beer.
  13. Isn't it about the story i.e the factory, the rooms, the experiences... ....besides the ooey gooey dark brownish sweety sticky ... stuff? Doesn't matter where it's built - only if it's a good rendition of what the books relate. Just like a movie is (supposedly) "based on the book of..."
  14. I think I should become an Associate member - just cuz I DID 'associate' with you a**holes AND.... ...gave you one of your best London West End musical theatre 'experiences' in awhile, nudge nudge. (Avenue Q Inside Joke: "Yeah - they're real.") Great TR, btw guyz. Nifty.
  15. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ RED
  16. I figure if a company can't make a rich, creamy tasting vanilla - then what's the point of trying other flavors? IMhO.
  17. Actually, before there was the Fun Forest - in 1962 the Broadway Trip made it's debut at the Seattle World's Fair. And it was called The GAYWAY The "Fun Forest" actually 'debuted' the following year. Just a little piece of triv.
  18. Talk about killing time while it was raining, huh? "Hmmm - let's see if your feet and lower legs can be turned around, honey."
  19. Looks like a great time, Elissa & Robb. Wish I could join you. Not as many miles away - only 3458593, hmmmph.
  20. Nice - tall - tower - drop... Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Great TR guys. And a True Aussie POUNDIT! Ryan will be sooo happy, hmm?
  21. Let's see now... 1) Stabbing incident at KFC in Thorpe Park. 2) Rollback Accident w/Lisebergbanan coaster @ Liseberg... I guess it's me, but it now seems, different parks the UK Tour group visited in June - are now starting to have problems, coaster and non-
  22. Hey - remember that 'old hippie guy' a bunch of you toured the UK Coasters with, back in June?... (yeah and Sweden & Norway too....) Ta -daaaaaaaaaaaaah! Old hippie guy - go buh bye! (o: (All done this past Saturday. So.... whaddya think?) Looking a bit 'younger' now, is I? Heh heh heh. (o:
  23. hey guys - got this from a friend, couple of days back... "Heaven in a (what size what?) GINORMOUS BEER FRIDGE!!!" Thought of you all in this thread, when I got this, so I had to copy and post it immediately, lol. (Now - can you read any of those bottle labels??? C'mon, you can do it - I know you want to, heh heh.) Decisions, decisions...
