Brand new Photo! Taken just last night by a buddy visiting with us. And I went on and on and on about the UK Tour just having returned home last Wednesday..... Shows "the new do" a bit better hmm? Got my long hair snipped back in late April, but decided not to treveal the (sort of)'Brand New Me,' till after the tour had come and (sniff sniff) gone. I call it Running With Windchimes. Catchy, huh? (o:

Sorry to read and see this still happening, if not worsening for young people having to deal with this at all, etc. My opinion, right? Burn'em all. Then throw salt on the ashes - 'just in case...'

~ ~ ~ The Da Vinci Code 8/10 We had just read the book just prior, so that helped 'explain' a few quick cuts and deletions here and there that the film makers...made, heh heh. Acting good - intensity palpable - all in all, good tense little "where is it?" thriller. Music score helped.

I take it you have something to post about the Gold Mine there? Thought I'd ask ya... And yeah, most of these ride-thru attractions could have used Major Updating and/or Upkeep to them. And I loved it when most (if not all) of the dark rides on the tour usually had Exit Doors either half-open to the outside world (the light, the liiiiiiiight!) or stood out in-your-face without any trying to conceal it in the ride itself.Where IS the Disney Group when you need'em, hmmm?

^ I think that's the main reason they didn't make the maps so readily available. Not complete, so-to-speak... Even I, as scrupulous as I was on this for the most part, managed to totally forget about any Blackpool map, until my roomie offered an 'extra' he had picked up - in exchange for (Gawd, I'm saying this) a couple of those green Ride Tix we collected at Lightwater Valley (home of Rat -Sewer- Ride and 'that barge ride' thing?)? Which weren't for us, to begin with? The map only has a certain number of attractions there on it - and soooo many more totally left off. I guess they got tired of re-vamping and renewing their maps when they kept taking out and re-inserting stuff here and there... and everywhere, heh heh.

Pinball??? I missed PINBALL?????? OMG Count me in next time guys, I love it, still do it where I can find it. My fave is Theater of Magic. Gotta love that magical black box, heh heh.

Just BUMPing this up, since I ain't been near a pc since the UK Tour.....not! Actually, I just haven't gone out of my way to find a pc. So - anything new (or not new) to show of how the building's taking shape, etc. etc. ? 8)

When Tatsu was being constructed at Magic Mountain, there was a picture taken of this particular piece of track, marked '53.' My current age. Couldn't resist using it, heh heh. And then, when I turn 54 next March - something else I'll have to use, I s'ppose, lol. (EDIT: Using the W&G Blackpool avatar right now...)

Now, you all need to watch your food eating habits, mmm'k? Quitting smokes can make snacking and general mealtimes more, um, 'desireable' at times? And larger amounts of, too? You have to watch what you do, day to day with this. Should get easier as time goes by.

When I quit, after 35+ years of smoking, five years ago, packs in Canada cost me $5.25 per... now it's something like....$9.00 per pack?? And the really remarkable thing about my quitting is, so far, there's been no residual signs of... well, you know what I mean.... I went cold turkey myself. I kept those dollar signs in front of my mind, thinking that every day, I was gaining more and more money for more important things... like food, utilities, clothes, CDs/DVDs... 'regular stuff.' I 'slipped' back in the beginning of '05, and that's when I actually had 'pangs of addition' rather than the first time I stopped. But then I caught a bad cold and started "tasting the smoke" with every puff. Euuuuuuuuuuuuw. And that immediately put me on Cold Turkey Watch once again... And have never looked back, at another pack. Touch wood. SMOKING - IS - NOT - COOL. No matter what 'they' tell you. Big Congrats to you, and stay the distance with this. It will be worth it, in the long run, believe me.

From what the UK tourers have been told, (my understanding) Robb & Elissa 'will most likely' announce the (rough) dates of a Japan TPR Tour near the end of the UK Tour. So that means, you only have to wait until.... June 19th? Patience, patience.

Ooooh, I think the way the 'chat' has been going, there's no chance in heck we're going to miss out on that little terror Martyn, heh heh. But thanks for the reminder of... we may need one (or more) once in awhile, the way this INSANE (and probable Uber Tiring) TOUR is going to go, lolol.

Coming back on the train to Plumstead this afternoon, I just saw uuuuuuuuuuuuugly women's feet up on the opposite seats across from me. Euuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. What is it with people who think that just because they are using public transit it suddenly become their personal property to abuse? And considering others would be sitting there on those seats, eventually... Disgusting, crude, and UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUgly!

And what about the French Canadian Acrobats forming an overhead arch at the front door, HMMM?
