The Official "TPR 2006 UK Tour" Thread!
Nrthwnd replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Um - that seems quite odd at first. Then, interesting. And only her second post, too. Hmmm. -
I re-read my Happiness Thread posting... and then realized that I 'heard' that the new Crush's Turtle Twister (Dark Ride/SpinCoaster) attraction as part of the new DLP Toon Studios... may not actually open until June. And we're leaving Paris before May even starts.... By the Coaster Gods, I hope they have REALLY EARLY Soft Openings, lolol. We shall see - eventua - leee!

Very good, Young Grasshopper Pounder. Fo shizzle, indeedy. (Note: And 'green' looks like this so easier with "cyan," heh heh)

Me with me new wellies for mucking about in my backyard mini-rainforest! Brought back, fresh from the TPR UK Tour - but never seen, 'cause I was too dumb (or probably wise) to wear them when it actually rained, darnit!!! Can't wait to stomp and slog thru my backyard in these beauties, yes!

Yes. No. Uh - maybe? Do you have a family doctor?

Just realized... Paris, Amsterdam, Spain, AND Japan CAN BE DONE (maybe) in one year!!!

TPR UK Trip Panoramic Pics
Nrthwnd replied to OldJJman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Those are great panoramas, Jeff! Really nice ones. Looove the multiple car shots, heh heh. Actually, some of those ride ops really Fast'n'HOT at getting us on and off some of those coasters, y'know? Very efficient. But again, I drift... Oh! And locally, I've been raving on and on about the 'cherrypicker' we had an option of riding for taking pix of Balder and Kanonen at Liseberg! Guess I should have called it a 'lift' huh? Your pix all looked great, guy. Thanks for sharing your new 'perk' with your laptop there. I took one (or was it two?) panorama with my old film camera. Hopefully it/they turned out. Can't even remember for the life of me, what the f it/they was/were of, LOLOL! We'll know soon enough, when I get it all back on Friday. Hopefully, at least as good as all of yours were. But --- where was the gokarts park in our tour??? (Hah! I know, I knew.) -
Great TR Derek! "Merry Go Straight" And ya know? The Mulan ride at Yarmouth. Looked like I missed a better caterpillar, than what I got in Southport, which ran.......forever.....and ever...... and on....and on... and eventually....... slowly.....raised it's...........cover.....then .... finally....slooooooowed down, stopped and then opened its FRIGGIN' COVER!!!!! And after watching The Circulator at Flamingoland, decided it too was just..... not.....worth it. Until I saw the same version at Yarmouth - and saw it did indeed go muuuuch fasssster than that clodding thing at FlamLand. Too bad I missed at both in Yarmouth. Had the time. Ah well. And thanks for reminding me what I actually still did miss out on during this Awesome Amazing Trip of ours!!! Thanks for sharing it all with us.

OMG I just realized earlier today - that my David and me will be touring Paris and Amsterdam from late April into...May? That said, hmmm. Wait for the dates of the Spain trip, then could adjust with travel time allowed from Amsterdam or Paris to Spain. Hmmm. Ooo! Ooo! This and Japan, too probably!!!

I actually didn't finish up my (gasp) fourth roll of (REAL) film in my camera! So I used the remaining pix to group togther my souvenirs and stuff. Posting it all in a week or so from now, mmm'k? Bill's "Mystery UK Tour Photo TR"! Hah. ~ ~ ~ (Edit: I got a Ball'n'Peen Balder Hammer. Muuuch more fashionable, smaller {petite, non?} and easier to bring out and attack w/o too much mess... mmm'yesssss. ) -
^ Yeah, now pay up, huh?
-
When me, Don (JeezusJuice) and Monica are at my Playland on Wed/July 5th, we'll do our best to "do a Pound" for ya on my Coaster. Or maybe the Kettle Creek Coaster for young'uns, mmm'k?

You are what you are, sexually-speaking. And eventually - you find out. Then, you have to accept 'the fact'. Or not. And end up getting more miserable in the long term. IMhO.

Random TR: Joe tries to guess Julie's Park
Nrthwnd replied to ParkTrips's topic in Random, Random, Random
Um....'the list'? -
^ Not trying to argue the points you make but... Coming to terms with being gay/lesbian could very well possibly cause and/or include obesity, overeating, alcoholism, drug dependency? Not to mention mental ridicule, threats, general hatred amongst peers (openly I might add), etc. etc. I do not think being obese, an alcoholic, or drug addict causes you to "be gay".

Camille and Me "looking at something..." Taken yesterday evening. Man, I missed her all thru the UK Tour. Of course now she has us both back in the house for her bidding and wants/needs/whatevah. Now WTF are we looking at again?

^ From reacting somewhere above. By the by - I would never commit arson to further my thoughts, beliefs, and differences with others. Being bitchy and catty is muuuuch more fun, darlings! Anyway..... How you can compare things like fat camps which are based on a physical theme (i.e losing weight, reshaping body...hopefully) to something like this which is solely based on one opinion having "a cure" for something that is not nor shall ever be (at this point in time) a choice that one makes and chooses to follow it's subsequent path? I went thru withdrawl and even contempt of myself bout 'what I was' so young (16) in my life. If a camp had been brought into my life, I am sure as sure that I would be much worse off today (if not dead or in prison) for the mental 're-organizing' that somebody is being PAID to do? I have been with somebody for nearly 35 years now. And I KNOW I wouldn't have "pulled it off" by marrying a woman and (eventually) ruining her life, besides my own. Fat camps are NOT Ex-Gay Camps. Forcing the mind into a 'mindset postion' against (probably) one's will, is more damage than any fat camp could ever do to a young person. Talk about your 'Hidden Agenda'. Thought that's what we were accused of, hee hee hee. The 'Gay Agenda.' Priceless. And wrong.

Happy Birthday - Belated and Current, guyz! Glad to meet one of you finally - maybe both the next time, hmm? Au Revoir. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 'Anything can happen, if you let it.' - song from West End (soon Brdwy) show, "Mary Poppins"!
