  1. Poor Derek. Then... That is all.
  2. Well, next year, I will be at that "awkward age" of.... 54? For the Japan Tour. (Whew. Just made it, under the wire!)
  3. That loop looked very random in there with all that wood, hee hee. We just watched a taping of it, from last night. Very nice. Now why wasn't Stealth @ Thorpe called that, HMMM??? Zoooooooomeratorrrrrrr. (immediate sound of bird being squelched on impact) I like it.
  4. First saw one of their first "Non-Named Shows" here in Vancouver. At EXPO 86... in 1986. This was one of their very first touring ventures outside of Montreal, at that time. Needless to say, they were a HUGE SURPRISE HIT of the world's fair. After that, I never saw a show of theirs again, until the new century, when they started touring thru Vancouver again... ~ ~ ~ Alegria. Quidam. Varekai. ~ ~ ~ Most satisfying shows to see and experience. And the touring companies, have DVDs and/or soundtrack CDs to further whet the Cirque appetite, or enhance the great memories of a truly theatrical experience.
  5. Prior to everybody (currently) being "online", I remember visiting Los Angeles various years, various times of the year, too. And I believe that out of several, if not many, visits to "The Park That Walt Built"... the *%@#&*~ Matterhorn ALWAYS was behind nicely painted 4x8 board fencing, going through yet another refurbishment, "for your future enjoyment"... I WANT MY MATTERHORN, I used to cry in my thoughts. When, oh when would I ever get the chance and compare, remind myself and choose, which rails I enjoyed the best... or not, heh heh. Last time I actually rode it, was in the mid-80s I believe. That's how long it had been since I got to the park when The Big M was 'open' there, available for the riding. Both tracks. (sniff) I think it's age of the ride itself, being as old as it is, hmm? It's a true coaster original, and Disney is trying to maintain it as best it can, under current coaster rail conditions, I guess. Just my history with it, and an observe.
  6. Repetition sometimes brings results, therefore... (Um, would one get the fountain pump inside of 'the turtle' too?) And what about that HIPPO lurking in the left-hand corner of the "blue water" there? Hmmm???
  7. Keeping up with the 'theme' of this thread (at times).... Of COURSE there are turtles at Southport to be considered!
  8. Happy B-Day, Guy! (blowing) (out) (candles)
  9. You trimmed!?!?!?!? We wanna see! LOL Arrrrrr. Here I be sez I. What can I say? Arrrrrr be darned!
  10. Oh darn. Off to Germany on Oct.02 - and not back home until the bginning of November.... Gawd, the catch-up I'm gonna have to do with this show. We didn't watch any of the First Season. Then, we took in all of Season Two. And now we want - Season - Three. Our tape machine is gonna get maxed out with all the taping, lol.
  11. Wow. Is it that time of year, already??? Chuck? You ready for this, matey? Arrrrrrrrrrr......... Not so ARRRRR anymore, since the Major Beard Trim, LOL. Liseberg, June 20/06.
  12. ^ Very nicely put, Eric. Almost a tear welled up here, in my one good eye, LOL! Good little R.I.P. there.
  13. Hammers? Nails? ...Beer???
  14. Disneyland Paris for now. Possibly/probably Disney Seas after next year...
  15. That was my Very First Chaos, too. And UPshot Tower ride, too! (sniff) But --- All the dark rides and walkthrus were just old and moldy. I'm still not sure if that's the reason why I took the pic below of the park... I mean, WTF was going on with this furniture? Got a nice background mini-signature action shot of Cyclone, though. Sweet. With two out of four coasters down for our UK Tour Day there, it didn't look pretty for it's future. And now, we know. RIP Southport. Um - what WAS the reason I took this photo, again? Anybody?
  16. ^^ Mine is end of March. Better start savin' up, Tom. I'm asking for payments into the Japan trip, HINT HINT.
  17. Not that there was anything 'wrong' with us to begin with? That said, there's really "nothing wrong" with straight peeps, too.
  18. Just read this at LaughingPlace.com Well, maybe there's a chance of a REALLY EARLY "soft opening" for the Toon Stduios, hmmm? Never know with Disney.
  19. All those empty, empty seats the UK Tourers could of filled.... Looked like a good ending for you guys there. Thunderbird looks just somewhat 'wrong'... kinda. Maybe. Hmmm. Could be 'right', tho.
  20. "Have a Magical Day!"
  21. I feel sorry for your outdated Fluff.
  22. Um --- Bit of Guacamole there too, please?
  23. TPR has become his hobby, simple. Vid still rocks, buddy. Sad part very VERY Ingmar Bergman. Scarily close, in fact.
  24. "The Good News" in the attraction's opening after we're there.... ... is that we DO have a few NEW other things to see and enjoy when there in late April, like: 1) Indiana Jones Temple of Peril - going FORWARD. Yay, finally! 2) Buzz Lightyear Ranger Spin - what (sniff) replaced Visionarium. Well, we'll see... and most importantly 3) I FINALLY get to ride AUTOPIA again!!! Been years and years and... well more of the same, since I rode the ones in DL, even longer in WDW/MK. And I like the little critters, hm'k? And yeah - its a BIG DEAL for the old hippie - BITE ME! And since we go to DLP at least twice in every five years (next spring - then 2010), the Toon Studios and ToT will have had a couple of years to 'break everything in' for us when we get there, LOL. And actually - there will most-likely be a TPR/MET (Mainland Europe Tour) before 2010, taking me thru DLP and the 'new stuff on the block', heh heh.
