^ It will be a $$$$ of a delivery charge, LOL!

^ Then, there are those idiots, that "drift" through a stop sign, and don't even stop, unless they absolutely have to. Then if they do stop, they're stuck with the front half of their car beyond the sign, and possibly blocking oncoming traffic on the cross street. Grrrrrrr.

^ Very impressive about that Phantom audition and those numbers! Musicals help the world heal in marvelous ways, no matter where we live in the world. I still love hearing how Japan LOVED "Fiddler" - it was "so normal and local," they said!

Construction continues on the new Fantasy Springs in TDS... The Tangled attraction show building rises. I am hoping that this tall section of the building, will be for the big lanterns-in-the-sky scene, from the movie. In perspective...Tangled is in back-left, and to the right is Peter Pan's GI-normous show building. Thanks to whoever took these shots, from the wonderful Tokyo Disneyland Monorail! (o: -

*** "Ummm...I'll have the Volvo, just when the paint job on it...smokes a bit." ~ From the (unheard of) recipe book, "Cars-on-Spits." Not really. But, I tried. I really did. THIS JUST IN! The PNE has come up with another "Taste of The PNE" - with BBQ and Poutine. Yum! Here's the info and the link. It runs this coming weekend, June 18-21st...Father's Day Weekend! And I am curious, as to how this "classic & custom car show" is being run. I have the feeling , it will be a drive-by kind of thing. And I am also pretty sure, that a lot of these cars have already been "on display" during a previous PNE. Which is cool. The ones that stand out more, and can be easily seen from cars, will be the ones on display. https://ticketleader.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventList?groupCode=TPNE&linkID=tktldr&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode= Maybe this (?) custom car will be one of The Ones on display, during CAR-B-Q. Here are three Playland ads that aren't just "outdoor ads." They're pretty unique, and two of them take billboard advertising to a new level of wierdness, lol. The one in the middle .... well, I just wish I was downtown to see these "ads" for The Beast, when it opened in 2015. Enjoy. (1999) (2015) (2017) And no, your eyes aren't out of focus. -
Fixed. And yes. The Keg is actually our fave steakhouse - ever. ************************************************ "Does your chewing gum lose it's flavor, on the bedpost, overnight?"

^ I followed up Kamui's posting, and went to Playland myself, at the beginning of February. Found nothing but rubble at that time. Now since then, and since everything in the world "stopped" for medical reasons/safety .... who knows what the site looks like, nowadays? Maybe when Playland hopefully opens on July 1st, we'll find out. For now, I am FANtasizing that they're already constructing The New Coaster that's supposed to be unveiled in a year or three. ^ Hmmm. With everybody wearing deodorant and perfumes, and probably not wearing anything that's actually odorless, maybe the 6 feet apart thing should be a permanent thing? Especially on those hot days, hmm? Just a wee suggestion. -

^^ At a Playland/PNE info.meeting several months back, I asked one of the PNE officials what was happening with Corkscrew. She told me that up to that time, there was no buyer for it, and so they took it all down. End of explanation. So, unless it has been sold since that meeting, the whole thing has been probably scrapped, and that was that. ^ Yeah, you would think that's what we Canadians love to do - throw up after riding coasters and rides, lol. It's just one way of attracting attention to Playland, itself. And since it's an independent park, they can get away with this kind of advertising. So far. Also, I have assembled all these ads together, for one ongoing showing. So it does point out the many various ways they can show one, how to "lose it". -
I'm shopping for us every ~2 1/2 weeks. today's total was ~$140 ...Which is almost $200 for us here in CanuckLand. Our $300 = just over $220 U.S. And we buy a lot of stuff at the beginning of each month. Then make much smaller shopping trips, probably once or twice, the rest of the month. It all works out for us. And we have a very, very big freezer downstairs.

Just because I'm asking, but... An online news service (called "Deadline") put up a recent article about HKDL's (and Ocean Park) upcoming reopening. And along with it, they posted a photo, the one below. Um... didn't all Disney parks around the world, ban selfie sticks? I'm asking because I really don't think this is the best way to show any park, especially if they too, have banned the sticks. Regardless of it being used outside of the park, itself. They just shouldn't have posted it. IMhO. Outside the park, sure. But, I think it sends the wrong message to park goers who do have these things.

Hey everybody! How about this, as we're slowly (VERY slowly) getting sort of "back to normal."... Christmas In July! Sales are done in cities I know, and sometimes, people actually have parties with that theme. Worth it for all that instant happiness! But no gifts needed. Or.... maaaybeee just one, each? Oooooo sweating in that tacky Xmas sweater in Florida, hmm? Just a suggestion.

A couple of days ago, ShDL posted photos of the first beam going up for ZOOTOPIA. Vertical construction has started! And as usual with a lot of these projects, workers and cast members signed the first beam going up. And they included a nice little banner from "The City of Zootopia," in the photo. Nice touch. And in back, a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train rolling by! -

^^^ On the Wickieland art concept map, I'm curious what that other circular thing is, at the right end of the Disko, there? It looks like a shield of some kind. If it is, will the ride vehicle go under it? By the way, I love how parks are now theming their Diskos up, more than just leaving the framework and track visible. (I bet they're stealing an idea from Movie Park Germany, or the now closed Space World in Japan, and putting a flying saucer up there, LOL! Kid-ding.) -
