  1. Barq's Root Beer
  2. Total shock when I found out. RIP PSH
  3. HAPPY BIRTHDAY today, to the many many TPR members who have one, today.
  4. Yes, but it's so very nice to be reminded, from time to time. Thanks, Elissa.
  5. ^ Very nice. Have you thought of making a mask of it, for a holiday in The Netherlands, like Halloween? Or something with Snow and Ice?
  6. Yes I remember a few of those mad mouse layouts on the TPR China Tour back in 2012. But they weren't too bad. Certainly different than the standard layouts I've ridden before. That little 'house' you spotted. And it was closed. It "could be" the outer shell of a carnival sized Haunted Swing, as I have seen ones and been on them (this size) in parks in Japan. One was in Hanayashiki Park, the other was in Nagoya Zoo. Very small "houses" but Haunted Swings nonetheless. And I found a third small one in Hokkaido Greenland, too. Here's what you found. Here's Hanayshiki's attraction. I originally thought this was an Ice House, or something like it. Wrong! Haunted Swing!
  7. We've laughed with all the trailers for this one, so we're very much looking forward to seeing it when it comes out. And we're not even Lego fanbois!
  8. Not any time that I can remember, in my years of riding Coaster, Larry. It's always run in good shape (IMhO), and they've still never opted for seatbelts or OTSRs on it. There was a fire in the main Arcade a couple of decades ago, and it's located right beside the coaster. But apparently, only timber was 'scorched' and was fast replaced. The track wasn't affected at all. And last season I just saw new timber stacked beside the station, which I guess was for a before-the-PNE-happens (late August) "touch up" here and there. And yes, that's the unique thing that makes this coaster so special to get to and ride.... the location. But once you get here and ride it - you know why (most) everybody's raving about it.
  9. OMG They stole the castle! Great shot. I love how fog, and after-smoke can mix into a really nice effect.
  10. After Life Arcade Fire
  11. We had local friends just return from a trip to Japan, with plans to visit the Tokyo Disney Parks while there. So I asked them how they liked the parks? One said, they went to Disneyland only. Weren't interested in "the other park." The other, when asked at a separate time, answered "There were two parks?" And he was serious. And I didn't know what to say. Edit to add: However, if you look at it from the viewpoint of arriving via train at the station, then walking to Disneyland, walking back to the station and back to your hotel - do you actually SEE the Disney Sea Park? Obviously, they missed the mountain, LOL. And they didn't look at posters much, apparently. Still, that was a freeky question to ask.
  12. Numbers hurt my head.
  13. I've ridden 6 of the Top 20. Including "Wooden Coaster" which is the one in Knight Valley, China. And our own Coaster in Vancouver was .....#21. (But it has moved back up, number-wise woo hoo!)
  14. This looks great! I am so looking forward to this park AND this coaster with all the "mountain range" back in place!
  15. We rode this back in the late 1970s. It was great, then. Good to hear it's getting some tracking love.
  16. I just noticed - it's interesting how they can photo-shop new riders in the mice cars on the current art concept poster, etc. What was originally released. Tight fit in both rows. Now - family sized!
  17. There's already been a flying car musical... (at the end of the 1st movie) "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"
  18. Soon to become Medusa II and a new credit for me, I hope! Here I am, last March, posting #600 at SFM.
  19. omg I haven't even gotten through this year AND the Scandi tour in June yet... ....but this is so awesome! Can't wait to go back there next year, yes TPR?
  20. ^^ I'm sure my massive spending spree in Bon Voyage contributed to it.
  21. From what I've read on other sites, this could be for the TRON coaster in TomorrowLand.
  22. Looking great, there. Thanks for the reporting, Peter.
  23. still awake. nuts.
  24. ^ Oops. Sorry, messing up my years again 1991 was the visit to Universal. 1987 was only to WDW, and it was just the MK and EPCOT. 1991 added the (then) Disney/MGM Studios, and Muppets 4D was just soft opening. We did only the Studios and EPCOT, that visit. Think I got it right now, thanks.
