  1. I love my on-ride photos as they are, in my hands to pull out and remember.... They are all posted online, in the various tour TRs I've posted in the site. Some are way more funnier than others. For instance.... The 2009 TPR Scandi Tour - Now can YOU figure out whether this coaster at LegoLand was enjoyable - or not? (o;
  2. Land of Lola - Kinky Boots
  3. Just took these at 5:30PM PST. Sunset on downtown, through our block's city trees.
  4. ^^ So it now appears, that the rest of the coaster to put up, is all around the wonderful Lisebergbanan's entrance/station area? It's looking really great. And I still can't believe the huge new loading station building along side the semi-newly-created drop tower! I can't wait for June to get here!!!
  5. At my age, I am soooo happy that something like this is being built. If it happens. Woo hoo New Credit, whatever it becomes!
  6. pastiche
  7. Can relate to that, being a retired postman/letter carrier here in Vancouver.
  8. Needing You - Neil Young
  9. Harlem Globetrotters Now there's a franchise, lol. Could be a flat or a coaster. Something crazy, busy and in circles.
  10. I think you're just totally lost, and using up all of your air miles to try and get back home. Just a guess.
  11. I got this in the mail, with my donation receipt from the BC SPCA. So this is mainly for those of us in Canada with pets. It would be nice that this could go international, but for now, it looks like it's up here in the frigid north, lol. Nothing says that this can't happen in the US or anywhere else on earth. (o:
  12. We love cheese. All kinds. Which we schmear (sp?) on our BBQed and grilled meat, some times. Blue cheese on a sirloin? Aaaagggggggggg
  13. hey everybody! I did have at least one more coffee mug to show you. While it's not exactly from a theme park, it was bought during our first trip ever, to Amsterdam, Paris, and the (then) 10 years old Disneyland Paris and the newly opened Disney Studios...at that time, a definite half day park. The mug was bought in Amsterdam near where the monument dedicated to all gay men and women is, beside a canal in the city. It's a lovely spot and the gift kiosk actually had all three mugs available, too! Which was nice. So - here's to the loves in our lives, be they a partner, family, friends, animal buddys, and the like. And most importantly - love yourself. Two guys, two gals, one of each, it's all good and awesome, right Minnie and Mickey??
  14. ^ But the thread is asking about a ride, not something like in a theatre where you sit and have stuff happen. A Bug's Life at DAK would be the same as the Muppets Movie at the Studios. Hey - A Bugs Life RIDE might be something interesting too, to consider. Maybe an overhead thing like Peter Pan, only with the dandelions and clovers as the 'kite'.
  15. ^ What's surprised me about this whole setup, in the video, is the restaurant will not be like Gusteaus, and more like what Remi his family and friends had up above the Ratatouille Restaurant, at the end of the movie. Which is great! It'll continue the 'small as a rat' thing the gp will go through, along with the attraction.
  16. ^ Is this something like what Tokyo Disney does with their Autopia? Their sensors auto-slow you down if your car gets to close to the one ahead. But this system takes your pedal power away, until the car ahead, gets farther ahead.
  17. ^ That was a great water ride!
  18. Got a newer, more recent one. Actually, it's more under "Fave Movie Lyrics." But it's a good line, nonetheless. "That perfect girl is gone." - Frozen - Snow and Ice is all you need.
  19. Got no snow on us.
  20. ^ And this is one I could fit in my back yard LOL! Or in our own Playland park - could take the place of that wretched log flume ride (log - ha!) at the "front" of the park. And if it gets put at the back of the park - replacing that old and disgusting Cork Screw (please!), the station needs to be in the SW corner of the footprint. The ride then gives awesome quick views of the mountains in the Top Hat, before and after the barrel roll. Yeah this one, or even an El Loco. Either would be great! EDIT to add: If I had to choose my Holy Trinity of compact coasters, and the three to put in my own home park, it would be: - Kanonen at Liseberg - Mumbo Jumbo at FlamingoLand - Tornado at Bakken (a spinner with a sick lift hill) Check Tornado out - http://www.themeparkreview.com/parks/photo.php?pageid=27&linkid=4158
  21. For a launch coaster, Kanonen in Liseberg Park really has a small footprint compared to other much larger launch coasters. And it's elements just as varied, with a mini-Top Hat, a loop, and a barrel roll making it a really fun and fast ride. EDIT to add a photo, thank you TPR Archives! And if compared, I would rather ride this over Stealth, Kingda Ka, Xcelerator, anything-over-100-feet-tall, easy! More fun, even with a much smaller Top Hat. (o:
