  1. ^ Well, we were all waiting for you to suggest it!
  2. My eyes widened when I read the first post here. "Not Superman!" screamed in my head. Then, I read more. Ha! Bizarre time for any April Fool's-like stuff. Wonder why they have it so close, after Christmas Day? Ah well....
  3. "I Am Woman" Helen Reddy (RIP)
  4. Yes. Yes we do. Are you happy with how your Holiday plans are going/went, this season?
  5. ^ Good for you! Keep at it, too.
  6. Got this pic taken at Joypolis in Japan, care of the TPR 2013 Japan Tour. Ain't I a little devil!
  7. ^ Yeah, "West Side Story"'s pretty much done. But of course, with "current conditions" the release of it has been postponed. Same goes for Lin Manuel Miranda's film version of "In The Heights". Ready to show, but not doing it until near Spring. Very much looking forward to that.
  8. I always love finding out that I've actually dropped a few pounds, after I've been walking around parks. And hydrating with water helps, too.
  9. Now available in China's McDs... Yes, that's SPAM and crushed up OREO cookies in there! Wanna bite?
  10. ^ If only.... <sighs> Only for Horizons. I still want Guardians/Galaxy!
  11. The one that really blew me away, way back when, was the early showing of Fantasmic! at Disneyland. We saw it in 1996 after it had been running for a few years. We didn't know what to expect of it (not much, if any, social media back then) and when the individual "Princess barges" floated by, I was tearing up. Truth! The cover of my souvenir booklet looked like this, when I bought it, in the (then) VILLAINS SHOP in FantasyLand. Wish I`d bought more stuff there, back then.
  12. ^ I was going to respond with Silver Bullet at Knott's. The first part is lovely and spread out. Then, coming back towards the station it amps up with tight turns, and that great upward helix over the pool of water there. I always love that last part of the ride. And Ghostrider, too!
  13. Well hopefully, they'll give enough advance notice about it. One way or the other, hope you eventually have a great visit there.
  14. This was too much fun to just share with a few people I know. So here's a video that pretty much sums up 2020... Enjoy.
  15. This will be Santa and Ms.Claus after his long delivery night tonight, heh heh.
  16. Ha! The blanks to fill in for your "not sures".... Chicago, Tina:The Tina Turner Musical, The Temptations Musical, Six, and Evan Hansen. Great effort. I remember Universal "sort of" announcing (last year) a year end, this year, film of "Wicked", and then..........nothing. So...now we wait. I also remember that STEVEN SPIELBERG was going to be involved with it. But now....who knows? I liked the movie version of Phantom. But we REALLY ENJOYED the (then) recent live tour of the production, with this amazing set design, that was literally a "huge wide tube" that revolved and had parts that opened for certain scenes. Including this cool set of stairs that would suddenly extend from it for key scenes. It was wonderful! Personally, NOTHING beats live theatre, right?
  17. Jolly,Jolly! Can you name all 11 Broadway shows here, sledding and sliding?
  18. Awesome night and day shots John! But this one.... Money shot. And I love how this catches the blue at the top. Well done!
  19. It looks like a more cleaner streamlined entry into EPCOT. I like it much better without those ....uh.... what Chuck called them! ^
  20. Ho, Ho.... (exhales) Ho!
  21. Sad news today... She was married to Danny Burstein, who was recently in "Moulin Rouge." She originated the role of Lily in the first Broadway production of "The Secret Garden". She also played Magnolia in the Harold Prince revival of "Showboat." More can be read about her at https://www.broadway.com/buzz/199025/rebecca-luker-golden-voiced-tony-nominee-of-show-boat-the-music-man-more-dies-at-59/
  22. If you postpone your visit for a week, they'll possibly/probably be running their annual CoasterMANIA! by then. First Friday of June it happens, I remember. Which means it will be on (I think?) June 4th, 2021.
  23. And then there's this festive saying....
  24. Yeah, last summer last year was the first time Playland attempted these Adults Only Nights (Fridays in July) at the park. And themed each night. We were all hoping they'd be doing it again this past summer, but then....yeah yeah blah blah happened. So, hoping it'll repeat next summer, including Neon Night! And I still have my (well, it was) new neon t-shirt to show off. From Knott's Berry Farm, when we were there in 2019! Sept. 2019
