  1. Something we ran into, yesterday afternoon. And we smiled. Of course! Why didn't I think of this?
  2. No. Do you have a WELCOME mat at your front door?
  3. simple k.d.lang
  4. I am only hoping that with this new configuration of seating, what Robb called the "Bent Coat Hanger," will be less painful to ride through. (see photos, thank you TPR)
  5. 23 days and counting...
  6. All that lovely (unpainted) pavement (and footers), under Scream.
  7. "Laundramat Boogie" Buck 65
  8. *And you get to visit Vancouver, too!* One way - or the other. Or Seattle.
  9. ^ Ha ha for Connie! And DROOL for the trains!
  10. From My Imagineering Armchair... I am speculating about what will go in a specific area of the Fantasyland expansion in Tokyo DL. It's all blue sky, but some of it IS reported to happen. The ??? on the first artist concept drawing is the 'expansion' part, that will take over 1/2 half of the TomorrowLand building. It's supposed to be turned into a new restaurant that will afford street views of the parades that pass by, two floors up! The concept is there with the quote about it's possibility. The rest of this section is up for grabs, as far as I can make out of the artist concept art. However, it appears the coaster in Toon Town has become part of the expansion, IMhO. It could be a clone of Seven Dwarfs. (top left corner) Could be. And the "Beauty & Beast" attraction could be a clone of the Be Our Guest Restaurant, like in WDW. Or not. I am blue skying the idea, that this is the entrance to a tea cups like attraction, but on STEROIDS! You take the ball room scene from the movie, throw in the patent application Disney made for the posted ride layout (during Shanghai's construction), which was like the teacups, but with all kitchen stuff, and they went up and down, too! And Lumiere in the middle being the animatronic conducting it all. Soundtrack is an easy re-do of "Be Our Guest" of course. Now this would be the fourth such spinner attraction in the park. But still. This would be definitely different, from atmosphere (indoors) to the whole set up and application. I also realize the concept may be being already used for Hunny Pot Spin in Shanghai DL. But till we know... Works for me, right now, lol. The section in question. The view along the parade route. The possiblity/probablity of such a thing happening. How the "cup" works, going up and down, as well as round and round...and round, lol. Overview. And Lumiere is in the middle of it all, there. (You could also add Mrs.Potts, Cogsworth, and Madame Bouche' {the clothes closet?} AAs on the three smaller circles of 'stuff'? Could happen, too.) The concept with kitchen stuff. Works for me. And the "columns" suggest the edge of the ballroom/queueing.
  11. I do everything wrong, with the best intentions.
  12. ^^ All the same, it's a neat winter shot of any pier's midway. Thanks for sharing it.
  13. Man, I just wish I could get to this year's WCB...but I can't. Other travel plans. However, there is always the following year's WCB. Thanks for the great photo shots, Caesar!
  14. Great find! And I have to comment... it doesn't matter what the century or decade. Some of the GP are still ignorant when it comes to following coaster rules... And besides this, that coaster looks like an absolute Monster! "We repeat DO NOT get out of your seat, until the ENTIRE train has reached the station." LOL
  15. WIN for the German Sampler!!!
  16. Here's my skyline shots of Vancouver, from yesterday's sunset. Far shot, from our property. A bit closer, with the zoom. The tree looks a little Hell-ish, hmmm? Over to the business section of the city. Out towards the gulf islands, including Vancouver Is. Pulling back, to the first shot. (o:
  17. I had to share this - found it in our Safeway, and giggled out loud when I opened it. And my David had a good laugh, when he opened it on The Day, heh. So - enjoy, whatever the orientation. [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=MVI_6868_geg9[/coastertube]
  18. From Screamscape.com ... This looks like it's not even in the park! (o: (art concept, I know) That two-story restaurant looks very nice, from this artwork.
  19. From Screamscape.com .... Millions of Minions in USJ, in the future?
  20. ^Not only Gigi, but Can Can as well, with Shirley MacLaine. And "Gigi" is opening as a musical revival on Broadway in April! C'est magnifique. RIP Louis Jourdan.
  21. Saw Jupiter Ascending lasy week. Very over the top with the plot and storyline, but... Awesome effects (I want those boots!) and whole design of it. And Mila Kunis still surprises me, all this time after That 70s Show. Not a bad film, definitely worth seeing on the big screen. 7/10
  22. Thank you for taking the photos you did take, in this c-c-c-c-old weather. Brrr.
