Six Flags Mexico is worth getting a passport, for. -
^ Seriously. Ours just went up 8 cents a litre today! (Was $1.21 - now $1.29 per litre)

A day late but... Happy 20th Birthday Indiana Jones and The Temple of The Forbidden Eye!* We visited DL on the first birthday of the ride (1996), and I remember riding it more than 14 Times during our two-day visit to the park. And I still have the decoder card (for figuring out the symbols on the queue walls) they gave out, back then! *(You don't look a day over 19) Indy during construction, before it's opening in 1995. Can you figure out (and many Thanks ^ for the photo!) where this is, in the attraction's layout? (It's pretty easy to figure out)

This is definitely one of my favourite Six Flags parks, too. When TPR was there in late March 2013, I could have stayed several more hours, enjoying it all day (read: beer). Great TR - thanks for sharing it, Cliff! By the way...beer still good there? (part of a) Happy TPR Tour - SFMexico March, 2013 Ah memories.... -

"What line" Before I scrolled down, I said the same thing to myself, lol. Great report, by the way, I was there waaay back in the mid 1970's and it was a really nice park back then. And I too, am glad to see the Main Street section back and looking great. -
There's also the new Sky Screamer coaster (what kind is it again?) at Holiday Park, and the Sky Fly flat ride that is supposed to open in July. A pretty awesome horror dark ride (Burg Falkenstein) there I remember, too. And the messed up boat ride... Other cool stuff is there. But if you just want to go there for the coasters, it would still be worth it to go to the park. And Expedition G Force is worth a definite several re-rides, too, lol. (And a great Star Flyer, too!) Sky Fly. Having never ridden one, it looks pretty cool to me. (o: (This was from the Holiday Park thread.)

^ No word on that, yet. All I know is they put her name and photo in the first teaser ad for the season, so who knows? Could be a "walk on" for a couple of episodes like NPH did. Or maybe the entire season. We'll all find out, eventually.

Just got a card from a dear friend, letting us know his partner passed away mid-February. They'd been together over 23 years and they were a great pair, together. Life just sucks, some times.

The last two bunny hops on Coaster at Playland (PNE). Honestly? If you ride it right, you can literally stand UP in the car at the top of each hop, and the forces keep you in place and shove you back down when you hit the bottom of the hops. It's some of the most extreme air time in any small wooden coaster I have been on, overseas and locally. So I edit out that first remark, with the Entire Coaster for OMfG AirTime! And this coaster still proves you are totally safe on a coaster, without seat belts and/or shoulder restraints. Old photo - but the Coaster remains as amped up, as ever. (o:
