  1. ^ Maybe the park, in a future move, could charge a "donation" amount for CoasterMania, with all the proceeds going to a supported charity, etc.? Maybe even Coasting for Kids? A suggestion.
  2. ^ Funny thing was, this panda was so 'trained' in what it could get, that getting onto laps and 'posing' was almost second nature to it. And it loooved those apple slices, heh. Cute, but sad at the same time. My turn. Not the greatest setup for a cute shot. And I look...tense. Not to mention out of focus, lol.
  3. So, the new edition of AHS will be... American Horror Story: Hotel With one of it's newest actors in it..... Lady Gaga??? Truth! There's a quick little trailer about it, and there she is! This should definitely be interesting, for now. Debuts in the fall, I believe.
  4. ^ You should put this in the HAPPINESS THREAD, too! Although I know you haven't gotten it... yet. Hope you get it.
  5. ^^ Only themeing I see out of place there, is the Disco Mirror Ball. I mean, what good is a mirror ball with no night lighting on it?
  6. And from the "What The Heck Is That?" Dept... A retro photo, from the PNE BLOG, taken during Playland's early days. This looks to be about late 1950's, early 1960's. Our old beloved Shoot The Chutes was right behind this....thing in front....in the luvie duvie shot. And they're STANDING too! A precursor to the (sitting down) Music Express, perhaps? Pretty neat way to have a PNE Date, circa late 1950s.
  7. Oops. Forgot to add. Mustard Buffet!
  8. Hmmm. Honest? Mine would definitely be the classic French Cruller Prelude to a crossant donut for me. And with a light chocolate frosting on top... C'est maginifique! Bottom right, on the plate. White frosting. That's my French beauty.(o:
  9. $1.21 CDN a litre, where we are.
  10. Wow. It all looks pretty trippy, (my word) with the look of the buildings close up, and how really generic they all appear to be, but some still have distinct silhouettes and key elements added, etc. And it will all look even better when all of the landscaping really - GrowS IN, lol! (And those zip line, whatever poles I ain't even going to chat about. )
  11. They've had one in TDL since the park opened, so I am a bit surprised it took them so long to do it with MK in WDW. Or did crowds really amp up in only the last couple of years to make a move, now possible? Just curious. It looks great, by the way.
  12. Here. Movie Park Germany - TPR 2008 Europe Tour - And My #300 (o:
  13. I just found this! Woo hoo! RIP LN
  14. omg I never knew there were large hills over there! Pretty stark, in a not great way.
  15. The details to all of this themeing is quite..... something.
  16. I like to call this element, in these types of coasters...the Toilet Bowl. Named (by me) after the downward helix in SPEED at Oakwood theme park, in Wales. It was my very first vertical lift coaster, first euro-fighter...rode it 14 times! And yes, it's a really great part of this type of coaster's layout. Here's SPEED's helix, going down and around. (TPR 2006 UK Tour)
  17. ^ Even with the dates on it, that would make a great poster. But without "Zomer Summer Sommer E'te' 2015" on it - awesome!
  18. ...Or maybe, where to park the flying saucer?
  19. Awesome video, especially with the soundtrack timing! And the station is so ornate and well themed, I would swear this was a building to be used for something else, lol! Thanks for sharing this!
  20. St. Croix - Family of The Year
