  1. ^ Naw, I'd rather be un-PC. Fairy Penguins it is!
  2. ^ Woo hoo! And it's true, it's true!
  3. Q: Quantum of Solace (2008)
  4. I never have, and I never intend to. And TPR has an amazing amount of POVs of pretty much every coaster in the world to enjoy, without having to jeopardize myself being banned from any park, etc.
  5. Saw Kingsmen last week. Great movie! Certainly filled with a lot of loud, intense action throughout it. I thought it was "almost" over done with the fighting, etc. But, a minor critique. And Colin Firth was just right. Almost Bond-like, but still original.
  6. ^ Very nice. I like that motto.
  7. X: XLR-8 Astroworld (RIP) I rode it in Oct.1992, when the park was still open.
  8. No, they're open 365 days per year (366 if during Leap years). Mmmm, lucky general public. (Our season {Playland/PNE} is from mid-May to end of Oct. with Fright Nights)
  9. "Vincelot"
  10. Were those baby penguins on that island? Awwwww (if it was). And interesting that they release 'trains' of cable car buckets going both directions.
  11. ^^ The four gray semi-rectangles. Those are the parking structures, yes? Just curious about parking.
  12. H: Hell Boy (2004)
  13. Here's how I look at twisty... Prefer it in a gin & tonic, but that's okay. (o;
  14. ^ Hmmm. Butterflies... Red pandas... Spinning mice...
  15. I repeat.... French Cruller - No Other (o;
  16. La Grande Roue is looking very nice, now. Can't wait to ride it again this September. Great view of the park, right in the middle of it!
  17. Tick, tick, tick... (for some of us, still) Tick Tock + a Tick - but not till early Sunday morning.
  18. After all the parks around the world I've been to, through TPR Tours, I have to say the Wooden Coaster that still rates as my all-time disappointment...was MAMMUT in Tripsdrill Park. It was the coaster's first year during TPR's 2008 Europe Tour, and we had all been following it's design, building, and eventual opening. Themeing hadn't been finished yet, but that was fine with us. It wasn't the first and it certainly wasn't the last to open that way, lol. So when I finally got to ride it - it just was 'meh' to me. Not much airtime. Pretty visually predictable, even if you didn't ride it. Several others felt that way too, at the time. I did ride it more than the once, but nothing felt that different, including sitting in different rows, including the front and back. Haven't quite figured out the steel one, just yet. EDIT to add: I will admit, I am pretty sure that this coaster was probably designed as a family one. But I know several of us put more "thrills" into the anticipation of riding it, than how riding it ended up, for us. Life. Yeah. Well. There it is.
  19. E: Enchanted (2007)
  20. Love the Bull Ride, lol! ...With the red bullseyes in place. Awesome!
  21. Have one of these to "get there." "It's the oooonly way to fly." (Old Western Airlines commercial.)
  22. B: Bye Bye Birdie (1963) With guess who as the ingenue?
