But - wouldn't the world's largest guitar be at...Hollywood Studios? Great look at a really home-grown place to visit. Seattle has some awesome kitschy places to see. Best Wishes w/ Happy Dishes! -
^ Well I, myself, have the originals of those 1947 casts too, but in their original LP format - 33-1/3 rpm! I have nearly 400 LP records. In order of their respective openings. All of them not only musicals, but 'events' on Broadway like Shirley MacLaine's show at The Palace. And one that Liza did. One of the very last LPs I own, is the disaster of a musical, Legs Diamond, starring Peter Allen with a book by Harvey Fierstein! A number of the songs from this musical did find their way into the later bio-musical of Allen, The Boy From Oz. . Part 1- the side edge (with titles) of a lot of these LPs got "used" by a few previous cats in our life. But they are in chronological order, left to right, and continue to.... ...Part 2, at the back of the house, with Legs Diamond at the end of it.

While I still don't have my crap together, to photograph the three souvenir t-shirts I bought.... I did decide to finally get going on using that tin of Boysenberries, for what I'd planned when I got back home from the trip...CHEESECAKE! And not just any cheesecake, like ones described on the cream cheese wrappers. This recipe was used with this cooker thing I'd bought several years ago ("As Seen On TV!"). The only use I ever got out of it, has been using it to make this "New York Style" Cheesecake. It was steamed for over an hour, then allowed to settle and compress, then refrigerated overnight. After that, the tin of Boysenberries were opened - and found to be a bit mushy (ya think?) - some cornstarch mixed into the syrup, and onto the top of the cake it all went. The whole process takes nearly three hours. But it's soooo worth it! Here's a few photos I took of that process... (I have later realized, I probably should have just dumped the tin of berries, into the cheesecake recipe, itself. Ah well. Timing. And that means I will have to get more Boysenberries, the next time I visit Knott's. Perhaps in...2023? ) What I use to steam this thing. Takes over an hour. " I got - cluk cluk - sssssssssssSteam Heat!" (from the musical "The Pajama Game") Allowing it to settle for a 1/2 hour. Into the fridge for the night. There it all is! A bit mushy, but hey...it's Boysenberries! (To be served later...) Remember this souvenir?

^ I did enjoy it, thanks! My partner David, shares his birthday year (1947), with such notable shows as Brigadoon, Allegro, Finian's Rainbow, High Button Shoes to name a few. I was hoping there was a cd for this year too but alas, not to be. The year ends with these 3 musicals/events of the 2019/20 Broadway Season, who actually released CDs practically after their show opened! A rare thing, indeed. (o: (NOTE: Kiss Me, Kate ~ we still have to wait till January for the revival's CD release.)

Just found out, there is to be a new cast recording of one of my fave musicals! Off Broadway or On, it's a great show with amazing songs and great actors to sing them. (I saw the original, Off-Broadway in late Fall of 1982!) Coming soon in Digital release. CD date to be announced later.

Having a great time, listening to The World Wide TOP 30 on da radio. Such a variety of this music. And even a track from Frozen II made it to this list! Cool!

^ LOL, when I first bought that, I also figured that "maybe 10 pairs" linked together, would make a good mini-omnimover, hmmm? I do like Tomica's TDR ride vehicle series. Another ride vehicle I really liked. -

Very nice editing there! Everything blended pretty good I thought. I was going to comment on the lady taking your food photo. It happened to me in DisneySea, back in 2011. I was taking a rest, sitting in the front of one of those "Main Street vehicles." They stay in place, but you can climb on or in them and just relax. This one was opposite Big Band Beat. A minute or so later, this little old woman climbs up next to me. She points to her and me - then to her friend taking the photo. Huh, I thought. I oblige. Photo is taken. THEN she motions to me to STAY THERE. And so, every one of her FIVE friends got an indi-photo with me, LOL! I had a big smile on my face afterwards, and sort of when 'huh' at the cultural moment shared with them. Awesome TR you've been posting, here! -

I rode the trackless ride back when it originally opened (2006). And I was totally shocked that such a relatively small park would have one of these, much less afford one of these! Best surprise of my last visit there. Been too long. Must go back. EDIT: I just checked on who manufactured this particular trackless ride, and it turns out to be the same Dutch company that just completed SYMBOLICA in Efteling Park!
