^ Great TR on your (of all weekends) Labor Day weekend visit to the PNE. Closing weekend. I was there for the Friday and the Monday of it, just to stroll around, drink beer, people watch, drink more beer. They had Happy Hour between 3 and 5 pm every day there, so it was nice to have that. Well, you knew about Coaster and the one-train thing. They used to ALWAYS run two trains, of three, during the PNE. But on the first Monday of August (our stat BC Day) the purple train stopped dead on the curved track, above the station and before the straight-a-way. Only took the ride ops less than an hour to evac everybody from it, down the lift hill. And Coaster was down for nearly two weeks. They then re-opened with just the yellow train running. For the rest of the season, and the PNE. But prior to this happening, they had (sniff) gotten rid of the red train, since they "never used all three trains".....ever. They even put one red seat in the middle of the purple train. Then this 'event' happened, they had to figure out what was wrong with the purple train, and that left only one train, the yellow one, for the entire season, including the PNE. So honestly, they're telling people "not allowed to run multiple trains" was kind of a little white lie, since they only had one train to run, lol! I guess it's a better shorter excuse, than the real reason(s). Glad you could make it to The Fair and the rides, if only at a really REALLY busy time. Getting the RapidPass for the big attractions is good advise, especially if one is only going to get there for one day's visit during The Fair. P.S. As for AtmosFEAR's cycle time...yes it was a shorter cycle. When it first opened in 2011, it was a much longer time at the top, before descending. I'm not too great on heights, but I enjoyed the thrill and speed of it, way up there. When I rode it this past season, I was shocked how short a time we were at the top. Maybe somebody got too freeked out, and complained. Who knows the reason? Still a thrill when they run it, and it's a bit windy!

But I did come back and join you, right? Your group left for the rest of the night. If they'd hit the hotel in the afternoon, like I did at Breakers for a couple of hours' rest, they could have easily come back and re-join you guys for the rest of the day! I realize it was only an hour+ left in the park for you. Still. Mid-day rests, if the hotel is close by, sure revives one for the rest of the day at any park, i.e. Tokyo Disney IMhO. And I usually come back to the hotel tired, but not extremely exhausted, as I have in other trips w/o a mid-day rest available. Not always possible I know. And I realize there were FastPasses they used there too, thanks to Elissa and Robb's great planning and ticket buying. But besides this... Great ongoing TR, Bert! There's so much new stuff there at USJ (Potterverse! DinoCoaster! Minions! Hello Kitty Chucky!) since I was last there, in 2011. Having done a few other coasters backwards (the worst being Temple of Peril in Disney Paris, when they ran it that way for a while), I don't think I would have been keen on Dream going backwards. I just like to go forwards on the things, heh. And isn't the "tune selection" on it, a trip? I remember most of us just hitting the Japanese J-Pop tunes and it was great, every time we rode. Looking forward to more! ...And we had only several seconds to scroll and choose what you wanted to hear during your ride! Maybe it was a longer time period now, for you guys. A couple of pix from the net, showing that "Tune Selection" system on Hollywood Dream. Back in 2011.

^ I'm wondering if he mainly means "screen based" attractions, more so than simulator ones. With the dark rides you posted there, they all have some screens involved. Guardians and TRON may have screens, too. Especially Guardians with the rotating cars and all? Maybe? If so, it really looks like Disney is still thankfully integrating screens with actual sets in their current and future attractions. Even the update on Alice In Wonderland in DL, and The Little Mermaid in DCA, used small screens where needed. Midway Mania being the exception to me, being all screens.

^ The concept art doesn't look that right, but from what's posted, that's supposed to eventually be a Luge Park beside the theme park. -

Well, it took me long enough, but here's the last of the trips souvenirs I got and brought back with me. Three Souvenir T-shirts, one from Knott's and two from Disneyland. I like what I got. So this is it...The End. Thanks to all of you who stopped to take in our adventures this past September. It's going to be a few years until I/we get back to S.California. By then, more new stuff will be up and running (Rise of The Resistance; Runaway Railway; something new at Knott's?) to enjoy. Thanks again for checking in with me and our trip, and Best Wishes To All for a new decade of theme park adventures! "I Am Groot" = Happy New Year from Me, too!

There's a new construction posting at tdrexplorer.com of the new Fantasyland section being built. https://tdrexplorer.com/tokyo-disneyland-construction-update-winter-2019/ Here's a couple of the many photos taken. Thanks tdrexplorer! Disney Trivia: Tokyo Disneyland can now claim the honor of having TWO castles in it's park! While Beast's Castle is definitely much smaller than the central Cinderella Castle, it was decided to build this, in forced perspective that Disney Imagineering does best, as the entry facade into the new Beauty/Beast attraction. Cool looking 3D painted mountains behind the entry and hiding the show building for the new live performance theatre to open with everything else in TDL, in April. -
Go Go Go Go MICRO~BREWERY! And most people who ride this Spiderman, will love the way they have to use their hand/arm as the web shooter itself, rather than the usual pistol, etc. I know I will! I haven't tried this tech at all, so I'm sure I'll be pretty hopped up for this, rather than Mania. Which I've done. And at 66+ years old, I got my eye/physical co-ordination challenge done with Smuggler's Run... twice, and it was a lot of fun, too (early Sept.). I expect Spiderman will really test my physical skills, which is great for my age group! Whatever the hell that is. I look forward to the exercise.

Since this was about all the Disney parks/resorts around the world, I thought I'd post it on this thread. This was posted to TPR Tweets, and I thought it'd be a valid question to ask everybody, even those not on social media that much....like myself. What year was your first visit to: Disneyland - 1963 Walt Disney World - 1987 (MK and EPCOT); 1991 (Hollywood Studios) Tokyo Disneyland Resort - 2007 ️ Disneyland Paris - 2002 Hong Kong Disneyland - 2012 ️ Shanghai Disneyland - Not yet.

Great list you've put together, Larry! Thanks for doing this. An addition to this list? There's also the new Happy Ride w/Baymax flat ride, that's opening the same time as Beauty/Beast in Tokyo Disneyland. -
New photos of the Arendell/FROZEN construction posted, by HKDL_of_FANTASY, thank you! This is where the flume ride is being built. Arendelle's castle ("Tell the guards to open up - the gate!") in the middle there. Where Oaken's Sliding Sleighs Coaster is going. That's the Small World show building in back.
