  1. Hey everyone! It's National SANGRIA Day!
  2. ^ Count me so envious you live "so close to Broadway."
  3. Just got this one via Amazon. Listening to it right now. My Birth Year's CD Series. Musicals that opened in "The Year I Came To Be", heh. Presented as a cabaret evening, with lots of interesting trivia about each musical. They have only a few more "years" available, but I am happy with my year's cd.
  4. SPOILER ALERT!!!! ^ After 'he' planned to help 'her' out, I suspected something was up with 'him.'
  5. Well, he did buy the souvenir Fuji-Q COKE bottle, too. And I still have my TDR 30th Anny COKE bttle, too! Not to mention an empty FUJI-Q Water Bottle as well.
  6. ^ That's great! We really don't get many (if any) touring plays that are mainly in the U.S. I would welcome the change if Broadway Over Canada offered a play or two in the selections. A suggestion for a plussed up jukebox musical. Now that Jagged Little Pill is open, and the cd cast is a-may-ZING, does this one make it possible, to weave a proper Book-written-worthy musical, justifying the songs that are used, usually all of them...? >>> Adele's 21. She admits it was her break-up album. So...possible story in there? And it doesn't have to be biographical, either. Just a future musical thought. By the way, the current 3 CDs that are available right now from Broadway, are not original scores. Moulin Rouge!, David Byrnes On Broadway and Jagged Little Pill. And I go hmmmm, too. Awesome cast and sound to it all! I was astounded by this cast!
  7. I've still got a few t-shirts to show here, but haven't taken photos....just yet. For now there's just A Few More Souvenirs, two of which you wouldn't really count....but I do. First is the two character 'hangers' I bought. The non-Snoopy one was from Knott's. Don't know why I really bought it. But I do like my sparkly things, heh. And I nearly forgot to pick up a "Mickey Mouse" in some form, somewhere. That one, I actually bought just as we were leaving Disneyland, for the last time/night before we left. Timing, huh? And the last two....we didn't discover we still had two bottles of water from the train, until we started unpacking. And we did eventually drink them up. But it was kinda fun to think we even brought "liquid souvenirs" back, too. I've done it with souvenir Cokes from Tokyo Disney Resort, truth! So... why not this, too? I must admit, that 'cat' looks kind of creepy, right now. Where they've ended up, for now. Ooooo Imported Water! And it was good, too! My bottled COKE for TDR's 30th Anny; and even a (empty) Fuji-Q water bottle on that 2013 trip! (o:
  8. I just read on another site, that Zootopia ranks 2nd in Disney Animated Films that have hit the $1 Billion+ mark, world wide. Guess what's number 1 and 3? Of course, it's Frozen and (for now, till it probably passes Zootopia) Frozen II, I read.
  9. ^ I can't wait to see it, when they light it up in the evening!
  10. We just saw Knives Out on Monday. Really enjoyed it, especially with the twist at the end.
  11. Somebody took and posted this photo, of one of the new coasters, over in (still being built) Universal Studios Beijing. Thanks to whoever took it! Mmmmmm, snow-covered dirt.
  12. A couple of new shots have been posted of the area that the new Zootopia "Land" will occupy, thanks 'Cody' ! Here's one of them. The entry point definitely looks like it will be between Winnie The Pooh and Dwarfs Coaster. They also recently "broke ground" on the new expansion, but I don't know where pix (or a video) of the ceremony are.
  13. New front shot of the castle posted, by HK Main Street Gazette, thank you! It's looking good.
  14. Fuji-Q Trivia: that mini-Fuji you and others (including myself) have walked up to, is actually part of the original park! I went up it to photograph things from it, back in 1972 when the park was only a few years old! And it's still there, bless it. Great look at all the main coasters there. Looking forward to all the TokyoDisney pix you took.
  15. I think the use of the Godzilla vids is a very cool way to show Tokyo and Japan off, in your TRs. Certainly made me look more closely at all the buildings and areas you know "where Godzilla was". Great TR. Thanks for sharing all this. Dad and me, 2014.
  16. Been to, and through all of the U.S. States....except Hawaii.
  17. Father and Son? Bakken Park, 2014.
  18. Just posted in eBay...a new PIXAR Playtime candy case, in January! PIXAR Playtime, is (for now) an annual event, held in Tokyo DisneySea, with lots of merchandise (like this) available, as well as new food and beverages to enjoy during the event. I will be getting one, of course! And it will be my 22nd TDR candy case I have......so far. It almost looks like a Ferris Wheel to me! Available January 09th in TDS.
  19. They finally posted prices for early buying, for 2020 Playland Passes. https://www.pne.ca/playland-season-pass/ Santa sez..."Prices good till December 24th."
  20. Cher Salt or Pepper?
  21. Under the Aurora Bridge ~ Seattle.
  22. ^ Me, too! A few more souvenirs to go. I bought only a couple of caps on this trip. One being the Ghostrider cap I missed out on getting, back in 2016's visit. And the other was The Ears, these ones being the Pride Ears I thought were only available in the summer. But in a couple of shops in both parks, Disney put together a Pride Section of the store(s) with the caps and t-shirts and other things rainbow-themed and available. Awesome! And then ~ The Search for Baby Groot's Mouse Ears ~ after I had gotten Baby Groot (at DL's Emporium and not the ToT gift shop), I put him on my shoulder, started walking around, and then saw somebody with a Groot on his shoulder AND Mouse Ears on Groot's head! I had to ask, and found out there was this key chain available, with The Ears attached, that somehow fit Baby Groot perfectly. But - everybody was finding this out, so the key chains were sold out everywhere we tried. We then went out of the parks and into the Disney Store in Downtown Disney. Not finding it on our own, we got a hold of a really nice cast member, who phoned every store the key chain could be found in. Lo and behold, the little gift shop in the main tower lobby of the Disneyland Hotel had a few left! So we took off for it, and there they were by the cash register. Only 5 of them left! David thought they were pretty pricey at $10 each, and I thought I should have bought two of them, with one as backup. But I bought only one. Which was fine. And when we got home, I got to work, disconnecting the chain on it and ta daaah! Mouse Ears for Baby Groot! Baby Groot w/o Ears. All three caps. My long wanted Ghostrider cap from Knott's. The Pride Ears. Where it ended up, with all my other Mouse Ears and other Disney parks caps. The key chain Ears. Where we finally got them. But we missed out on stopping by Trader Sam's. Next visit. Now key chain free! Perfect!
  23. Danny Aiello R.I.P.
  24. Because it's Japan. I have no idea Bert, but you know....it's Japan.
  25. ^ Oaks Park near Portland would be a great place to put one!
