  1. They're playing a radio interview with the Now Grown Up Hanson Brothers.... and it`s really good! I am impressed with these guys, considering they started so young with "Mmm Bop". And now they're married have what? 13 children between them??? And they're now celebrating 25 years as being a band, together! Awesome.
  2. Pete Frates, a sports guy who ended up with ALS, just passed away. But he inspired the ALS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE around the world. A true American Hero, to be sure. (ALS is commonly known as "Lou Gehrig's Disease". Look it up.)
  3. ^ Love it. I never get tired of these names they come up with, lol. (I'm in my "cocktail phase" right now.)
  4. Beginning of June, 2017 ~ Flew to Cedar Point (kind of) for CoasterMANIA! with Bert. When was the last time you paid for everybody at your table, for dinner in a restaurant?
  5. Caroll Spinney ~ The voice of Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch.
  6. Crazy as I sound, but.... "Rudolph, The Red Nosed Reindeer" shouldn't be sung at all - or greatly re-written to be sung, at least. It's honestly, the Classic Christmas Bullying Song. I don't have to explain it. You know the lyrics. And when Santa approves, then 'they' all jump on the bandwagon to "approve" Rudolph. Unintentional to be sure... back then. But this is now. Doesn't it make you cringe, when those lyrics are sung, happy and jolly, and from such young mouths? I mean, if they're going to go after "Baby It's Cold Outside" for the drink thing, why not this one for bullying in general? Not to mention the bandwagon jumping that happens, when Santa singles Rudolph out. Too much? Hey, it's my rant. Ho ho ho. Santa sez..."We're gonna die!"
  7. The Christmas Song ~ Jann Arden
  8. A new Scratch & Win ticket has been released in Canada, for the Holidays. I haven't seen the one with the dog, but this one is pretty "cute" to me. Disgruntled Reindeer-Cat. (o;
  9. Besides the above, there's also to be three shops in this new part of FantasyLand, all opposite Gaston's and LeFou's. Thank you to http://www.tdrexplorer.com for the post. Like shops in Main Street, you can pass thru one, into the other, by the look of the artwork here. Artwork by Disney.
  10. ^ Sounds like great burgers! And you can never have too much cheese in them, too. Then, there's always tacos...
  11. ^ To mis-quote a certain snowman... "Breakfast and Lunch. Both so intense. Put 'em together, it just makes sense!"
  12. "A Heaven of Diamonds Shine Down Through The Night..." - New lyrics in "Winter Wonderland"
  13. "A Heaven of Diamonds Shine Down Through The Night..." - New lyrics in "Winter Wonderland"
  14. And I think it's brilliant what Disney did there, integrating the unloaded/empty vehicles into the attraction story line, itself. Another thing. It's supposed to be a "serious adventure", but I see so many smiling faces of the "captives," throughout the attraction (on practically all videos of it), it seems funny to me, that nobody is actually looking scared in this attraction. I think Snow White still holds that record for some kids. It's crazy. But it's fun all the same. "Laughing out loud at your own peril."
  15. An EXIT question. Nobody seems to be showing (from what I have seen) what happens when you exit the trackless vehicles, outside. Is it just onto an outdoor pathway, eventually to the main thoroughfare.....or something different? Thanks in advance. Colour me curious.
  16. ^ I Just shivered at seeing this. Great double post, there!
  17. More Souvenirs! Things to Drink From...and Eat Up! I was surprised that I bought only one coffee mug on this trip. But, what a mug it is! And pretty much all the food "souvenirs" were from Knott's Marketplace. Some fave stuff bought, along with a couple of new interests. And Salt Water Taffy, too! More plastic and a metal coffee cup +ed up. The Coke Bottle from Galaxy's Edge. A Piston Cup. Probably totally useless, but it's Mine! Where they ended up...for now. Where I found The Coffee Cup, in Knott's. A bit pricy I thought ($30), but hey - it's a souvenir! With flash. I was going to put it up here. But... ...I decided I wanted to use it more. So in the general cupboard it went. The Knott's "Free Refills-For-The-Day" Container. The all-year one is a different colour. It's all Knott's! First, the taffy... Many, many taffys. Many, many to choose from. And we did! (o: ...Including....Chicken & Waffles? We tried it. More maple syrup flavour than anything else. Fave seasonings from last trip re-bought! Potato Salad Seasoning is the new one. This is a new buy. I'm hoping to put it on top of a home-made, steamed, New York style CHEESECAKE! Stay tuned for that. And of course, a bottle of The Real Good BBQ Stuff. (o; (To Be Continued.)
  18. ^ Oh Bert, you know me so well. And here's some photos of the new food and beverages that will be offered in the new Fantasyland expansion, when it opens next year. Artwork and photos by Disney, and posted by http://www.tdrexplorer.com, thanks! Interior of La Taverne de Gaston Restaurant. Gastons Berry Cheer Beer Soda French Toast Sandwich. Hunters Pie. Not to be outdone, TomorrowLand's new Big Pop popcorn shop, will have these flavors available: (l to r) Cookies & Cream; Strawberry Milk; Cheese & Caramel popcorn! Le Fou's Snack Shop (beside Gaston's) will have Apple-Caramel Churros available. Yum!
  19. Found a couple of new (to me) photos on the net. One shows more of Maurice's Cottage, where Fast Pass machines for the Beauty/Beast attraction, should be located. The other is of a new Toontown sign that was just revealed, taking the place of one mounted on a wall. This has apparently provided photo ops, too. Yay Mickey! Looks nice, that sign does. Thank you to Spencer Lloyd, who took these two photos.
  20. Awesome report, Elissa! Thanks for your take on the whole thing. I've seen all the Star Wars movies, and I'm not that knowledgeable about everything about it, myself. Glad to read you don't need to know everything and everyone involved with the attraction.
  21. I'm curious how the Single Rider queue works for this attraction. Actually, is there Single Rider for this, and does it bypass some of the stuff you'd see in the Standby Queue? In DL: Is the left opening an exit? And is the entry on the right just for Standby? I forget what's been posted about this entry gate to the attraction.
  22. ^ Really nice photos you took, there. Great.....uh.....drone work?
