  1. ....and forever.
  2. ^ My bet is that, as usual, this Playland pass "special deal" will continue into the New Year, after today. It usually does. But, in the meantime... And I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with the Corkscrew (is it sold yet?) and/or space in 2020.....or not. (o;
  3. Happy Holidays To Everybody out there in TPR Land! However you celebrate it....or not. Enjoy the Solstice! Don't we look like a Happy Holiday Family? My "adopted parents" and me! Bakken Park, Denmark. 2014.
  4. Took a photo of our light "display" on the front porch, a few evenings ago. A mish-mash of lights, but surrounded by all the darkness, it looks like a cool little Holiday Oasis to stop at and enjoy. IMhO. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYBODY at TPR!
  5. Thanks to whoever you are, in tiny print, for this.
  6. My nightmare of it, was when "Maude" appeared in it!
  7. ^ Thanks! I always did what I could, considering the distance from NYC. I must say though, that there used to be a lot of great (used and new) record stores around the city. With sections for soundtracks and cast recordings, too. I could check every few months at each one, and I would usually find a "new~old" Brdway cast album there. Found Goldilocks. It is the Original Brdwy cast recording, but packaged in one of these "series" I have found through the years. There were other shows packaged like this. Don't remember, but this one was obviously one of this Collector Series. And a Happy Holiday Season for you and yours. Above the big words are "Columbia Records", as this is who produced this series. With the cast you mentioned. 'Dad' and me. (o; Bakken Park, Denmark, 2014.
  8. ^ Well, you're not much fun! And I'm still not too sure, what the heck Oga's Obsession was all about. I mean....wtf? And my most obvious question about this was/is still.....how the heck do you consume it???
  9. ^ They do have a neat selection of non-alcohol drinks there, too. As for the nibbles, we didn't even think about eating anything there. Ronto Roasters and Cargo Bay 7 were so close by, it was no big deal about food.
  10. ^ Just got back from The Drive! Checked out about the Butterbeer recipe, and all that they told me, was that the "liquid ice cream" is just that. Vanilla ice cream, that's allowed to melt, in a container, in the refrigerator. Stirred from time to time, but not refrozen. And that's it! Simple, huh? I'm sure you could plus up the ice cream the way you want it. Enjoy!
  11. ^ That looks wonderful! Congrats to Linnanmaki Park!
  12. Holiday Question: was any Holiday Decorating done, of any kind/type/etc. in/on Galaxy's Edge? Thought I would ask, thanks. This starts in early Sept. and lasts thru December. Taken Sept.09/19.
  13. To keep you captivated, until I post my last souvenirs photos etc.... Here's me (In A Flash!) during our long-ish (45++ min.) visit to Oga's Cantina. Sept.12/19 4pm-ish, to be precise. P.S. This is not the pic I used in my Oga's report. I used "the more subdued one", w/o flash, thankyew. https://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=77080&start=70 Half way down, there. Too much light, I am in. But the drinks were great and $$$$. Soon, the group behind us had had enough. They left, and we got a more lively couple. Gave them TokyoDisney advise. Hope they go. A very nice couple.
  14. ^ Next time I am there, I will check with them. Can probably stop by there, tomorrow, if they're open.
  15. Sriracha! Gift or Gift Card?
  16. Best Thing I Can See There: Moulin Rouge. It looks promising. Great TR of it. Thanks. Shameless Broadway Holiday Plug.
  17. Here's a Butterbeer Cocktail a local place near us, conjures up... They also pull off, a pretty good Romulan Ale, too. The Clauses in Cocoa!....yummy?
  18. But - wouldn't the world's largest guitar be at...Hollywood Studios? Great look at a really home-grown place to visit. Seattle has some awesome kitschy places to see. Best Wishes w/ Happy Dishes!
  19. ^ See you there again in.....say......2025, Bert? That's what we're saving for, for a future visit. With all of the new stuff open and running, in both parks. Glad you finally got a first visit there. Chag Sameach, Bert & Nick!
  20. ^ A great year of photos there! Nice way to ending the year. Thanks for sharing it.
  21. ^ Well I, myself, have the originals of those 1947 casts too, but in their original LP format - 33-1/3 rpm! I have nearly 400 LP records. In order of their respective openings. All of them not only musicals, but 'events' on Broadway like Shirley MacLaine's show at The Palace. And one that Liza did. One of the very last LPs I own, is the disaster of a musical, Legs Diamond, starring Peter Allen with a book by Harvey Fierstein! A number of the songs from this musical did find their way into the later bio-musical of Allen, The Boy From Oz. . Part 1- the side edge (with titles) of a lot of these LPs got "used" by a few previous cats in our life. But they are in chronological order, left to right, and continue to.... ...Part 2, at the back of the house, with Legs Diamond at the end of it.
  22. Bad Romance ~ Lady GG
  23. While I still don't have my crap together, to photograph the three souvenir t-shirts I bought.... I did decide to finally get going on using that tin of Boysenberries, for what I'd planned when I got back home from the trip...CHEESECAKE! And not just any cheesecake, like ones described on the cream cheese wrappers. This recipe was used with this cooker thing I'd bought several years ago ("As Seen On TV!"). The only use I ever got out of it, has been using it to make this "New York Style" Cheesecake. It was steamed for over an hour, then allowed to settle and compress, then refrigerated overnight. After that, the tin of Boysenberries were opened - and found to be a bit mushy (ya think?) - some cornstarch mixed into the syrup, and onto the top of the cake it all went. The whole process takes nearly three hours. But it's soooo worth it! Here's a few photos I took of that process... (I have later realized, I probably should have just dumped the tin of berries, into the cheesecake recipe, itself. Ah well. Timing. And that means I will have to get more Boysenberries, the next time I visit Knott's. Perhaps in...2023? ) What I use to steam this thing. Takes over an hour. " I got - cluk cluk - sssssssssssSteam Heat!" (from the musical "The Pajama Game") Allowing it to settle for a 1/2 hour. Into the fridge for the night. There it all is! A bit mushy, but hey...it's Boysenberries! (To be served later...) Remember this souvenir?
  24. ^ I did enjoy it, thanks! My partner David, shares his birthday year (1947), with such notable shows as Brigadoon, Allegro, Finian's Rainbow, High Button Shoes to name a few. I was hoping there was a cd for this year too but alas, not to be. The year ends with these 3 musicals/events of the 2019/20 Broadway Season, who actually released CDs practically after their show opened! A rare thing, indeed. (o: (NOTE: Kiss Me, Kate ~ we still have to wait till January for the revival's CD release.)
  25. Just found out, there is to be a new cast recording of one of my fave musicals! Off Broadway or On, it's a great show with amazing songs and great actors to sing them. (I saw the original, Off-Broadway in late Fall of 1982!) Coming soon in Digital release. CD date to be announced later.
