  1. *Add more scenery to make it look more complex, and do not have walls up the whole thing. Make a visible loading platform. *I just thought it might look more realistic like that. *Well you can place the flames in an orderly fashion around crates or something to look less random. -Sam
  2. Blurry - Puddle of Mudd
  3. From my SFMM trip earlier this year. -Sam
  4. What's wrong with Ghostrider? I rode it last year and couldn't get enough of it. Weather conditions, neglect of maintenance, or modifications. -Sam
  5. I have some criticism/tips that could help you. Pros: *Good dispersion of the trees *You seem to have a good start to the midway *Log Flume (always a plus since so many are disappearing in parks these days) Cons: *Your buildings/stations are too boxy. Try adding more detail. *Station on shuttle loop is too low. Raise it up about 10 ft. *The flames by the corkscrew coaster look bad. Try to integrate them with other theming so they don't look so random. Hope this helps! 8) -Sam
  6. I often see ghetto fair style rides being transported in my town because we have a fair and a carnival every year.
  7. I think I've seen enough Firehawk photos to last a lifetime. Other than that, looks nice what you have so far. -Sam
  8. Same for me! I was already laughing hard by the 3rd picture down! This park is even more random than the ghetto fair, and I like it. Enjoy the rest of your trip! -Sam
  9. Im going with B&M because of the coasters I've ridden, B&Ms have given me a more enjoyable ride. Also, B&M rides have less downtime than the average Intamin.
  10. Because to make the slides working, he would have to sacrifice quality of appearance. The goal is to make it look realistic despite the fact how RCT is so limited. I am working with him on various parks for the RCPro Summer Showdown gaming competition where the whole point is to build an elegant park and the guests cannot even come in. The park is not finished and he probably won't post an update for a while. -Sam
  11. Dude, these water slides are amazing! My favorite water park is Hyland Hills Waterworld in Denver, CO. I highly recommend everyone go there. All of their slides are great. The freefall speed slides are amazing, and their bowl slides are too. But their all time best is the underground, heavily themed "Voyage to the Center of the Earth" - truly an amazing experience! They also have an underground Egyptian river run, but it's not as fun as VttCotE. I'm going there in a week from today!!!! Rumor has it they are adding yet another water slide this year, but I have yet to confirm that. And to think I used to be afraid of large water slides. Now I can't get enough of them! -Sam
  12. Keep in mind I have not been to any parks east of Denver yet. 1. Goliath - SFMM 2. Tatsu - SFMM 3. Silver Bullet - KBF 4. Ghostrider - KBF 5. Medusa - SFDK 6. X - SFMM 7. Xcelerator - KBF 8. Riddler's Revenge - SFMM 9. Colossus - SFMM 10. California Screamin - DLR
  13. Another hilarious trip report. Great pictures and it looks like each day is better than the last! Can't wait for the next update.
  14. Nice pictures and great photo TR. Nice water park photos. I don't know why you got a headache on Boomerang since I just rode SFDK's in the back and it was smoother than normal. The log ride appears to be pretty decent. -Sam
  15. LOL. nice... We all know who the real culprit is...Dick Cheney Seriously, stupidity will always bounce back and hit you in the face like what happened to these teens.
  16. Oh god not another accident. Seriously, I can't believe the ride ops were careless enough to not check the seat belts before dispatching the ride.
  17. ^ Can you post some of it here for the rest of us? SF should have just got rid of SFNO instead of SFAW.
  18. www.sixflags.com Seriously, the first site dedicated to just coasters for me was either www.coasterforce.com or www.rcdb.com back in 2001.
  19. Theres a new coaster going into SFDK for 2008. But I can't tell you what it is though. Sorry (employee request).
  20. Looks like you guys had a blast! Especially on the extended helix SLC.
  21. Yesterday. I first saw Live Free or Die Hard, then at home I watched Blazing Saddles. When was the last time you left the country?
  22. ^ I assume this is for a brand new water park like when SFGAm opened HH in 2005. Well here is what I think would go good. Body Speed Slides Wave Pool Lazy River Several family slides Tube slide complex Kid's Area (maybe) Bowl Slide Flowrider That should be good. I will be going to Hyland Hills Waterworld in Denver next week! -Sam
  23. Ouch about your camera man. Was it a nice one of one of those old POS ones? I nearly lost my phone on X. I could feel it slipping out of my pocket so I had to hold my hand over it for the whole ride. But, I guess I can't complain since I didn't actually loose anything on that ride. They don't have the best system set up for storing loose articles like other rides do. I just leave my loose articles off to the side despite the risk of them being stolen. I lost my sunglasses at SFDK the other day, but that's nowhere near as valuable as a camera.
  24. ^ Uh the park already has a S&S Power tower, and an Arrow Corkscrew coaster. A screamin swing would be nice. Does anyone else have any thoughts?
