  1. I saw Steven Spielberg a few feet away from me when I was in line for Back draft at USH in 2003.
  2. Alright, you guys answered my questions. Thanks!
  3. I know who to make the check out to. I was just asking about addressing the envelope containing the check that will be sent.
  4. Awesome trip report. Xcelerator needs a new paint job very badly.
  5. 1. When sending in the deposit and the additional information, should I write it up in a "letter" form or just list the necessary information? 2. Should I address the deposit to "Theme Park Review" or "Robb & Elissa Alvey" ? I have never done one of these trips before so I don't want to screw it up. -Sam
  6. By the time I get a chance to make a trip out to GL, the park will be nonexistent.
  7. Very interesting. Looks like you guys had a blast. And congrats to Jahan for getting the Laura credit. I can't wait to go on a TPR trip next year.
  8. DRM (protected) music sucks. Today I bought some songs from my friend's iTunes account (with his permission of course). And when I got home to put the three song files on my computer, they don't work. Apparently he has used up all 5 authorizations and my computer could not be authorized to play them. The way around the DRM in music files is to burn the songs onto a CD and then import them into the computer. The problem is that his CD burner has not been working ever since he upgraded his iTunes recently. EDIT: And no these songs are not available in the itunes plus format. Aargh, itunes is racist against European trance music.
  9. Psyclone at SFMM. It was never open during my visits to SFMM when it was still standing.
  10. WOW, just curious how you spent the 3 hours between the time they agreed to send a check and the check actually being sent. I did three hours worth of AP US History Research Homework... My ability to push through my AP American Government class might determine whether my parents help pay for my trip. So far I have $1200 saved for it and I plan to get some sort of job this year to earn the rest of the money. I am ready to send in the deposit, but my parents are holding me back from it.
  11. My god that helix must hurt. This is probably the most in depth photo TR I have ever seen of Kings Dominion. Nice job!
  12. Wait I'm confused. I thought the MidWest trip ended last week, but the update says you were just there yesterday. Care to straighten this out for me?
  13. "Get Ready to Explode (Original Mix & Magix Club Cut)" by DJ Kim
  14. SFDK most likely. I hope to get back there for Fright fest this year.
  15. Try looking up the Tomb Raider soundtrack and see if it is there.
  16. ^ That's great. But the GP would have no idea what it means since the coaster in the movie used CGI to make it look much larger than it really is.
  17. Same here. I rode it with no line repeated times on my trip to SFMM in 2001. I consider it a past roller coaster because it's removal is only a matter of time. I would like to see it rebuilt on the former site of Psyclone. Anyone else agree?
  18. "Flashback (Dave Joy Remix)" by Alphazone
  19. On Sidewinder at Elitch Gardens, I have heard: "I forgot how to operate this so I will just press random buttons" "We can send them without the restraints down, don't you think so Jeff?" *while restraints still up* "Launching in 5, 4, 3..."
  20. Agreed! Except about the dance music. The only good dance music out there is trance/electronica/techno. Hip-hop and rap can die!!! Fall Out Boy - No need to explain. Green Day - They should have just given up after their hits in the 90s. All pop singers - The music is all the same and is just plain annoying.
  21. I searched around for this, but couldn't find anything. So sorry in advance if there is already a topic on this. What defunct (removed) roller coasters have you ridden? This includes relocated rides and semi-portable coasters. However a modification to a ride's track (like with V2 at SFDK) does not count as a removed ride. Mine are: Windjammer (red track) - KBF Zonga - SFDK Flashback - SFMM (Just because it's scheduled to be removed later in 2007) Stealth - GA Greased Lightnin - GA -Sam
  22. I would remove the OTSRs from Revolution along with the trim breaks.
  23. I will be 18 by the time of the east coast trip! And I will send in my deposit within the next several days.
  24. East coast trip for me! I will send in my deposit ASAP.
