^Looks like he used the largest size. Have you looked into 3D modeling programs such as 3DS Max for making stations? -
Rush Mania [RCT2]

^ The 2000 park is my original version of the park from RCT1 which requires CF & LL. Keep the comments coming! -
Maybe they could repaint/retheme it to some other comic characters. Yes, they got Tony Hawk's Big Spin @ SFFT this year. But, maybe they could add this in next year. It wouldn't be as big of a cost as buying a NEW coaster since this ride is already theirs... Whoops, I was referring to B:TR from SFNO for the 2008 season. My bad

I felt the same way when Knott's destroyed Windjammer back in the summer of 2001. That was my first roller coaster. However after reading up on all the problems it gave the park (reliability issues, valleying in the wind, defective safety restraints, etc.), I came to the conclusion that this move was in the best interest of the park. And look, they got a nice, smooth, exciting Intaimin to replace it. Same thing with Cedar Point when they removed White Water Landing. It seemed like bad move to take out yet another water ride/family attraction and add another coaster to their huge collection, but look what we got out of it - Quite possibly the best coaster in the park (from what I have heard from friends who have ridden it). What I mean is, this may seem like a bad move, but this will help the park so they don't have to funnel all their money into keeping an unreliable ride running when they could add something new and better for the park. Although this looked like a really fun coaster. Coaster removals are always sad, but they are always in the best interest of the park. -Sam

Rush Mania [RCT2]
Goliath513 replied to Goliath513's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Rush Mania opened in 1985 in Long Beach, CA originally as a water park. In 1989, the park began adding roller coasters to compete with the nearby Knott's Theme Park and Six Flags Magic Mountain. During the 90's, the parks owner took on an excessive build of roller coasters and eventually acquired a massive collection of coasters. In the fall of 1999, the ownership of the park was changed over to two guys in their mid twenty's who had just gotten into the business. However despite the doubt of the public of their ability at the turn of the century, they burst onto the scene in 2001 with their well known remake of the water park, a design that allowed for double increase in capacity and a year round operation for it. From then on, new coasters have replaced older, cheaply built ones, rides have been refurbished, the park has gotten more landscaping than under the previous ownership. This was also the beginning of a coaster removal phase for the park. In June 2005, the TOGO Venom Rail stand up coaster was removed to make way for the B&M stand up "Silversurfer." Silversurfer opened in the spring of 2006 as well as an expansion that doubled the size of the water park. After a development break in 2007, the owners are back and busier than ever with the park's new coaster, an unnamed Intamin Aquatrax, set to open in late 2007/early 2008. Also in 2008, the park will open an Intamin ball coaster. 2008 will surely be a big year for Rush Mania! Now for a few pictures. Thrill seekers can enjoy many roller coasters, such as The Cosmic Twist which was built in 2002. Kids can enjoy their rides in "Baby Park." There's fun for the whole family in the new for 2007 "Egypt Land." Cool off in the water park on one of many attractions. There's something for everyone here. Hungry? Enjoy great burgers, fries, and shakes at the new for 2007 Johnny Rockets. Or dine at the ACE Cafe where there's enough food to even satisfy an ACEr. I know I was planning to release it later, but I happened to finish early. Well I hope you enjoy Rush Mania! I put over 100 hours of work into this! -Sam Rush Mania.zip -

Six Flags should just give up on the park. I know the contract with the city is causing problems, but it's just not worth it. Their money would be better spent to move the salvageable rides to other parks and improve on what they can. SFNO is a lost cause. -

It sounds like this will be for the best, especially considering that Cedar Point is just down the road. This way Cedar Fair can concentrate their money to their stronghold of Ohio. Besides, with the removal of X Flight and Steel Venom, I only saw a dark future for the park. As long most of the remaining coasters and rides don't end up as scrap like with SFAW, this change will be for the better. -Sam -

Guess it's not a Dan friendly coaster then. I hope to get one of these credits someday. -
Live from my high school on Friday, Sept 14. There was a streaker at our football game. I was there when it happened. It was f***in hilarious! He escaped and has not been caught because the students who know who he is (myself included) aren't going to turn him in because it will be automatic expulsion for him when caught.

Now they need to do this to the SLCs here in the U.S. -
Windjammer and Colossus are the only racing ones I have been on. Colossus has never ran both sides at the same time when I'm there.
