  1. Well, you'll be happy to know it got 15 TONY Nominations! including a single, shared nom for the three young actors who rotate the part of Billy, for Lead Actor In A Musical. I loved BE and am happy to see that it received so many nominations! But I found it a little strange that David Bologna was nominated for featured actor by himself, when he shares the role of Michael equally with Frank Dolce (who I saw). I'm also thrilled that Gavin Creel and Will Swenson were nominated for their performances in Hair - they're both brilliant!
  2. Oh man, it sucks when you really have to pee, but for a million dollars, I'd totally pee on myself!!
  3. The cast is literally all over the theatre during the show! They even allow the audience up on stage during the curtain call. I think I read that June 9 is the release date for the CD. I'm sure it's going to sound amazing! I agree, the plot sucks. But I still sat through the show 3 times because of the awesome music.
  4. That was awesome!! Great job guys!
  5. That's too bad you guys had to wait on all of those long lines. Great photos - It looks like you had fun! Japan is definitely on my list of places I need to visit someday.
  6. I just saw the revival of Hair on Broadway this past week and absolutely *loved* it! I've seen a few "concert" versions of it in the past, but this was my first time seeing a full staged production of it. It was so incredibly well done, with such a talented cast. I haven't felt this way about a show in a long time - It's definitely something I need to see again. Don't forget that the Tony nominations are announced on Tuesday! I'm sure that Hair will be getting quite a few. And here's the cast of Hair performing on David Letterman a few days ago... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P90GGonF6js
  7. Yup, I've been watching it. It's pretty terrible, but I'll keep recording it on my DVR and will watch it when I have time, just because I'm kind of curious to see who the killer is. I love how no one seems to notice or care about the people that have been killed so far!
  8. LOVE Spamalot. Definitely one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. And I even saw it Clay Aiken in it, who was surprisingly good!
  9. I know, like who gets to the clue box first is really going to make a difference in the race! It all seemed like a big misunderstanding though, and they all just got caught up in the moment. Out of the people that are left, I'd definitely like to see Margie and Luke win.
  10. The trip I'm looking forward to the most this summer is the Deep South trip! I'm also heading out to Six Flags Great America and Indiana Beach shortly after that. And then I'll end the summer with Labor Day weekend on the West Coast for Disneyland and SFMM. I need to squeeze in a few visits to Great Adventure, too.
  11. That sounds like so much fun! I would totally do that if I lived closer. Good luck!
  12. I went to WDW once for my birthday, but it's not something I would be so quick to do again. Mid-August is not exactly the best time to visit. I've also been to WDW on St. Patrick's Day and Halloween, and both were surprisingly empty. And I've done SFMM and Disneyland on Labor Day (and will be at one of those again this year!). Crowds were quite manageable then, too.
  13. Right now I have: WDW Disneyland/DCA Universal Orlando Six Flags And I don't even live in the same state as these parks!
  14. I love the video - "Maseca!" They had the flour tortillas when I was there in Feb.
  15. Omg, I look pregnant and/or fat in all of those photos!! It was just my purse under my jacket, I swear. Anyway, yeah, it sucked that a lot of the rides were closed (Nitro, grrrr) or running slowly, but it was a fun day. I'm horrible with remembering names, but it was nice meeting you all!
  16. I finally got sucked into the world of Twilight recently. I actually liked the first book quite a bit, but thought that the other 3 were pretty ridiculous. Though I definitely understand the hype of this series now. And I had low expectations of the movie, which is probably why I ended up liking it more than I originally thought I would.
  17. Awesome updates - thanks for sharing! It sounds like you guys are having a blast.
  18. So tragic. I'm really shocked and upset about this. I always enjoyed her as an actress, and will remember her terrific performances in Cabaret and A Streetcar Named Desire. I met her briefly after Cabaret once and she seemed like such a nice, genuine person. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
  19. I know! When she picked up the hand held mic for that song, I was hoping for maybe one moment of actual singing, but nope! It was definitely an entertaining evening, though.
  20. I've probably seen some that I can't remember right now, but my favorite was Neil Patrick Harris on the Haunted Mansion at WDW a few years ago.
  21. I'm not ashamed to admit that I just went to a Britney Spears concert. I highly doubt that she sang anything live, but it was quite a spectacle of a show, with all the different circus type performances.
  22. I hope Kristen has a wonderful and happy 2nd birthday tomorrow!!
  23. How is that tour? That's one I've been meaning to check out. That Boardwalk microbrewery is decent. I enjoyed hanging out there one night last year when my flight home got canceled. Awesome Epcot photos!
  24. Yeah, same here - no qualifications other than being a certain age. I don't think I made it quite as far as Senior Girl Scout. It might have been Junior, but I really can't remember. I was actually just thinking about this because the Girl Scout cookies I ordered arrived this week.
  25. Nice TR! I love deep fried food, but I think I'd draw the line at the fried pickles.
